@Dickiy this was a classic case of one team playing with over confidence while the other team played with nothing to lose, and thus full credit’s to Saudi Arabia cause they gave Argentina a timely warning that they can be defeated too.

Furthermore I wonder if someone just for fun had selected Saudi in their bet slip, because they would have gotten monstrous odds before the match began and now I wonder if this upset will cause many here to wager on the underdog team in the hope of earning a big amount when their selected team causes an upset.

I don't feel the same way you feel, because Argentina's defeat was pure and a win for Saudi Arabia is not strange either in my opinion or there is a game behind it. Because now everything is clearly visible on the field where even the referee himself can see every incident repeatedly via the screen available on the field if there is a doubtful violation decision.

So this is not at all strange because I see the defense of Argentina itself is also not as good as when Argentina made an attack on Saudi Arabia. If you think that a national team that has many stars can't lose games, I think it's very inaccurate if you don't know more about the Saudi Arabian players. Because you should also see how Saudi Arabia's players trained before the world cup and also competed in the world cup against Argentina.

Being an Asian, I am looking forward to matches from Japan and South Korea.

France managed to go from losing 0 - 1 to winning 4 -1 against Australia. They just simply were the better team, and it showed in the field. They remained calm after the initial goal and they just played better the rest of the match.

Well what we were not expecting has happened, and a lot of gamblers betting slips have cut and many have loss money today. Argentina players were not careful with Saudi Arabia team. Argentina players were busy having offsides while Saudi Arabia players were using that period to position themselves very well to strike and finally their plan worked well so they had to strike and scored the goals. Though Argentina played more than Saudi Arabia but they didn't arrange themselves and they were just running and kicking

Exactly, So far, the most surprising are the results from Argentina - Saudi Arabia, and also Denmark - Tunisia. Argentina lost in their first match, and Messi couldn't do much in their first match. This must have been a really big pressure. What's more, they lost to Saudi Arabia, which incidentally is not a top club. Currently, Argentina is at the bottom of the group standings.

On the other hand, in fact, Denmark also couldn't make any goal against Tunisia. Denmark in this match is also the favorite and is predicted to make some goals because they are also big countries. However, the result is here, drawn.

You may have missed the news that Benzema had to go home early and not participate in the world cup this time because he was injured in training.

Giroud as a substitute for Benzema now seems to want to prove it and his 1 goal in the 32nd minute proves that he is indeed worthy to replace Benzema in the French attack.

Argentina's defeat was surprising, but actually Argentina was just unlucky throughout the game. It was proven that Argentina had quite a number of opportunities but all of them failed because the Arab defense was really tight and difficult to penetrate. This is the strongest defensive strategy I have ever seen in the 2022 World Cup.

Do you think Saudi Arabia played well in that game, I think you would say they are quite smart and physically strong. 6 yellow cards out of 21 fouls committed by the Arabs proves they are not afraid of any consequences.

It was a really tough game in the first 80mins of the game, Senegal showed great strength and determination and I will say they played better because they created more chances, got more attempts but thanks the Dutch goal keeper wjo stayed active and made quite some good saves to keep the game goaless until 85 mins when Gakpo headed one past Mendy and Netherland made it the added time to seal the win and getting all three points. I'm proud of Senegal because they showed good character and composure through out the game. Hopefully they will come back stronger in the next games.
