There is a Bolivia - Chile match right now in the South America qualifiers now. This is one of the critical matches for both sides actually. Because both of them still have a chance for the World Cup playoffs and even joining the World Cup directly too. It is halftime right now and there is a 1-1 tie. Actually, Bolivia were shown as the favourite by bookmakers but I didn't think the same as them. I thought that Chile might be able to win this match. And who knows, maybe they will really achieve it. Normally, Chile are a better team than Bolivia but they haven't had a decent group stage so far. But maybe they could make up for their mistakes in the remaining matches including this one.

Exactly as you expected Chile scored 2 more goals in the 77th and 86th minutes and ended the match with a score of 2-3 somehow in 11 minutes both countries scored 3 goals
Bolivia actually dominated the match a bit it's just that some opportunities fail to maximize maybe it's related to luck not on Bolivia's side.
Now live match Uruguay vs Venezuela Rodrigo Bentancur scores a quick goal in the 2nd minute looks like the situation is going to heat up.

Uruguay - Venezuela

this will be a very interesting game, but for some strange reason (reason that I don't know) the odds for this game are giving Uruguay a big advantage, does anyone know why?
uruguay = @1.30
venezuela = @8.40

Uruguay is the favorite in this match, but I don't understand why there is so much difference in odds. Uruguay is not a very strong team. Despite having world-class strikers like Suarez Ebang Cavani, Uruguay's performance is weak. Suarez and Cavani are not very good at bonding with their national team players. So the performance of the Uruguay team is getting worse day by day. I think the match will be a draw. If I bet, I'll bet on the draw.

Odds of 1.3 means that Uruguay will win with about a 75% chance. Or three matches out of 4. Venezuela has a chance of winning with a probability of about 10%. Isn't that a fair chance given that Uruguay is playing at home and even if they don't play well against strong teams it doesn't mean they can't beat the weakest team in the tournament. Those odds seem fair to me. Taking into account the strong attack of Uruguay and the number of goals that Venezuela concedes, I think that there will be many goals scored in this match.

Betting on Chile to win the match against Bolivia... Bookmakers are giving roughly the same odds for both teams, but judging from the last games Chile looks much stronger! I also think both teams will score!
Decided not to bet on Argentina to beat Colombia, but bet on them exchanging goals...

Bolivia as home team might affect their chances if you look at the history of Bolivia's matches all wins when playing at home
Including when Bolivia beat Uruguay 3-0 but I see a weak side in Bolivia  emotional level of Bolivian players is high often get a red card
this can be detrimental to Bolivian players if not controlled.

The good advantage of Bolivia is that they know their home very well and what favors them every minute is the height, the height and the pressure makes anyone need oxygen, and every time you run or sprint with the ball there is a lot of force . exhausted and the lungs begin to take their toll with fatigue, however I see Chile playing very hard, and the Bolivians are playing desperately, the Bolivians usually win in that stadium, in addition to the weather conditions they delayed the game due to the previous inclement rain, they are still in the first half, I think there is still a lot to play for, and since they are in their field, I see that the Bolivians are starting to run much faster than the Chileans, but with desperation.

Why worry about the fact that not all players get to the World Cup when we have club football and everyone understands that the real struggle is there? National football is a kind of lottery, just a beautiful carnival, you should not take it seriously.

Can't agree with what you have posted. I am a big fan of club football. But when it comes to global tournaments like the FIFA World Cup and the Euro Cup, the excitement level is more and there is a sense of patriotism for the fans. You won't get the same feeling with club football. Global tournaments are exciting to watch, because players are representing different countries. And in club football it is money that matters. The smaller ones will be having hardly any chance of a win against the richer clubs.

They're both important, playing at the club level and national level.
They all contribute completely to a player's profile as a footballer.
But then, nothing beats the feeling of representing your badge, and winning in the process while doing this, this is just too unique.
Both are different but at the same time completely essential, the competition among clubs show us the best soccer that we can possibly see as the players have a lot of time to develop chemistry between them and the best players go to the richest clubs so we can literally see a dream team facing another one.

However competitions like the world cup offer us some of the fiercest competition we can see as players are representing their countries, and as such the play is more intense and the fans root for their national teams with a fervor even greater than what we see during clubs competitions.

Uruguay is in fifth place in the group and Venezuela is in last and this is a common situation for Venezuela. Whereas Uruguay is a consistently strong team that often surprises even in the final stage. I think these are normal odds for this couple. It seems to me that it is safe bet on the victory of Uruguay with a gap of at least 2 goals. If Uruguay keeps fifth place, they will easily win the intercontinental play-offs and advance to the finals of the tournament.

A draw certainly gives you a good quote (5.25) currently. All things considered this isn't a bad bet to make. Their last meeting ended 0-0. Uruguay plays at home and Venezuela is at the last rank of the qualification. Venezuela lost most of their away games, in fact they were only able to get 1 point through a draw in their away games. However, as you said Uruguay isn't a strong team either. Their home games were often successful against the weaker teams though.
Uruguay played a series of tough matches against Brazil and Argentina, unexpectedly losing to Bolivia. But after that there was a victory over Paraguay away, this is not the strongest team, but still the game was away. Now they will play at home with, Venezuela wich in last place, and Uruguay should win this match. Of course, no one canceled the probability of a draw, but it is very small and such a bet will be very risky.

I am not sure why we discuss this here (we are in the UEFA Qualifiers  Huh Huh)
but:
Uruguay is 17th in the FIFA ranking, Venezuela 59th, so there is quite a difference.
The odds I found are 1.30/5.25/9.25, that's pretty one sided and a ~70% chance for Uruguay to win.

AFC World Cup being as kind to me as Concacaf so far. That's 2 accas I've gobbled up in a week featuring favourites, just thought I'd like to share today's ones as they're pretty special to me for Minamino getting on the scoresheet -- it's bad luck to show cards on the final leg perhaps but even if Australia don't win I'll get this back as a freebet so I'm okay Wink

@3meek Colombia's only recent win was against Honduras so yeah, not sure why no one wouldn't fancy Argentina at 2/1. I'm definitely going to poke around them on a fresh acca if Australia win!

@slow_death: Seems ripe for the picking, I'm def throwing a bet on Venezuela

**In BTC since 2013**
Its never easy to predict who will win the world cup, surprises happen all the time. Italy, England, France all have a great chance just from Europe, and yes we usually have winners from Europe, and that is why I would give these three the biggest chance.

However, that doesn't eliminate Argentina or brazil right away, they may not be awesome like they used to but they are still a decent team. All in all I am feeling like there is a good chance there will be 4 or even 5 teams that will fight very hard to win it. Which one will win it? I have no idea and I am guessing that betting on the winner will be a very difficult thing to do.

That's true, in a World Cup, anything can happen.

If we think about it, we will have the South American teams, they will run the race before the national championships begin. This can be good, because the players are not physically tired. But at the same time it still doesn't have a competitive pace, which other players usually have.

However, players from European countries are in the middle of their seasons, and may have already suffered some physical problem, which may limit teams.

Tomorrow there will be many interesting matches again... Don't even know what to try and bet on! I don't understand why bookmakers are giving such high odds on Argentina's win against Colombia - 2.0! I think this event can be included in a multi bet... Also think that in the Bolivia vs Chile match both teams will exchange goals! Maybe Peru vs Ecuador BTS too... Wink

yeah, interesting, was not following their qualifications, but Canada is on the top, and probably secured for World Cup now
would this be their first appearance on World Cup?

Mexico and USA should be good as well, Panama is far worst than them, and Mexico is playing Panama in next round, so this could be it, Costarica is far down from them, four rounds, four points, it is hardly manageable to be fourth
Canada has qualified for world cup only once, in 1986, but didn't reach too far anyway...

2022 is going to be their second appearance and in great style, it must be said, as they have been the only national team to win all played matches on the qualification group. Congratulations to them! I hope this world cup is going to be full of good surprises and that Canada can be one of them!

It's amazing when unexpected teams deliver unexpected results!

we can confirm that Canada has already got a promotion ticket to the world cup next season, it can't be separated from those who managed to beat the United States with a score of 2-0 which at the same time made them manage to keep their distance from their competitor, the United States to 4 points with four matches.the rest of course it will be a very easy matter for the Canadian nation to get 1 direct ticket to the Qatar world cup this season, of course this is a surprise for Canadian football considering the last time they qualified for the 1986 world cup

LOL.. Canada won the match and now they are at the top of the table with 22 Points. The United States and Mexico have 18 points each and Panama is trailing them with 17. 4 matches remain for each of these teams, so there is plenty of time for those who are outside the top-3 to catch up. But realistically the chances are low. Costa Rica, placed at the 5th position only have 13 points. It will be a tough task for them to catch up with Panama, so that they can qualify for the inter-confederation play-offs.

Actually, I don't think that Canada has ever appeared in the World cup. This is going to be the first time as far as I know. I am actually quite impressed and shocked at the same time by their performance. I actually expected better from Mexico. Out of there three draws maybe one should have been converted to a win. Especially the match against Costa Rica today. Mexico dominated but couldn't achieve the results needed.
