I haven't seen the game, but from what I've read the game was quite controversial.
Two expulsions, with very lengthy analysis by the VAR and the referee. As well as expulsions reversed after analyzing the images, despite being very dubious releases.
Anyway, the referee turns out to be an element that did not help an excellent football show.

Given all these events, the show turned out great. And if you take the final result, then it arranged for both teams - Brazil did not lose and Ecuador scored an important point. As for refereeing decisions, if this match had an important tournament value, then most likely they would have caused a scandal and a long discussion after the match.

Almost the whole match was a 10 v 10. Ecuador had a player sent off at 15 minutes of the game and Brazil had a player sent off at 20 minutes of the game. I also have to agree that if this was a more competitive match there might have been a lot of talks about controversies in that match. But overall I think it was a good game and good to see a match full of action.

In the end Brazil survived this match even tho it wasnt importany to them. VAR saved Brazil in the end and cancelled that penalty and red card for Brazil. Ecuador looked really good in this match and they had a great boost from their fans. They could have won all 3 points.

Today's Colombia-Peru meeting is going to be interesting. It seems that both teams will be fighting for the last place awarded with the promotion to the World Cup. Currently, both teams have 17 points. Even though Colombia did not win the last five matches, today it seems to me to be the favorite of the game. I bet on the victory of the hosts.

Slightly surprised to see Colombia in too favorites today HDC @1.56 vs @6.40 although if you check Peru  match history it's not that bad
Based on the FIFA rankings they are not far off either and Peru so far actively scoring , if we check the table Colombia scored 16 and Peru scored 15
meaning that the strength of the two teams is almost the same I'm on the Peru  side with HDC +1

I am not sure, this match started lyrics like a 50-50 chance to me.
You know, Columbia didn't win their last five matches so there should be more motivation to win this match but, on the other hand, Peru is a strong opponent.

Even though I am saying that the match is 50/50, obviously I also think that the home team will have certain advantages over the opponent. I am also backing Columbia up for this match to win.

**In BTC since 2013**
Ecuador played great, more than just motivated, and they were ten men squad almost whole match
Torres scored on Plata assist, and brought them earned point, it is an important point for them to secure World Cup, which should be a great success for Ecuador, and I would like to see them in Qatar next year

I think it will be a very interesting match between Chile and Argentina! Chile have to try their best to pick up points to move up in the standings from the relegation zone! But Argentina haven't lost a single qualifying match yet... I think we can try to bet that both teams will score plus add a win for Brazil! Risky, but the odds are pretty good!
Argentina are very strong in this tournament and any team they meet always defeat them, either 2:0 or 1:0 for their favour. It hard for me to lose my bet on Argentina match because the team are very good and it always give gamblers joy for their winning in all their matches so far. Brazil are also trying in this tournament just that they have never meet strong team like Argentina. Argentina players are well prepared for this season to make their fans always happy about their performance in this tournament.

Pity I didn't guess yesterday with Brazil's win, I should have bet not on a win but on both teams to score... I thought the most interesting match was Chile v Argentina! By the way, there were lots of fouls and cards in all three games!
Probably the favourites will win today as they are clearly visible...

Argentina won over Chile last night, and Uruguay won as well

Chile managed to draw Argentina in the last 3 matches this allows Chile to do it again today it's just that I doubt it with goals because I predict goalless
Argentina's defense is one of the most solid because it rarely concedes Argentina haven't conceded in the last 6 matches even Brazil can't do it.
The revenge is over, Chile has beaten Argentina in two Copa America final now, Argentina make them out of World Cup 2022. This is so nice to see Argentina winning with below-average performance in possession, dangerous attacks. It shows that they can win defensively although they shouldn't have conceded a goal. But it's these kind of games that will boost the team to achieve the greatest glory. Lautaro Martinez and Angel Di Maria were on the scoresheet. Lautaro is good I can’t deny that. He always scores even in his own club inter Milan. He maintains his status in his national team and in his club now that’s solid. Di Maria of Argentina National Team is incredibly good in what he's doing. Always taking the responsibility of Messi in a crucial time.

BTW, I enjoyed the Ecuador vs Brazil match. Watched the highlights later.. and I felt like I was watching a Kung Fu competition rather than football.
Things like this always happen. Football in South America is the equivalent of wrestling. Dramatic matches are always the norm. A Kung Fu competition was held instead of a football game for the Ecuador goalkeeper and Allison. Alison was saved by VAR. VAR correctly called the match, whether you watched it or not.

Why the hell everyone is discussing about the CONMEBOL qualifiers here, when the topic is about the UEFA qualifiers? I wanted to discuss about the chances for Portugal, Italy and Russia and here everyone is discussing about Brazil, Ecuador and Argentina Grin

Ideally we should be having a single thread for all the confederation qualifiers, and so it will be great if the OP could change the topic from "FIFA qualifiers - UEFA", to "FIFA qualifiers - Global". BTW, I enjoyed the Ecuador vs Brazil match. Watched the highlights later.. and I felt like I was watching a Kung Fu competition rather than football.

Chile is good team and trying their best for having a spot in play-offs but against Argentina is not easy for them because without any doubt they are one of best team and having very tight defense which is helping them in last many matches for today match we can do two things one is BTTS no because Chile has not good chance and odds are also good for this secondly under 2.5 is also good.

I agree with under 2.5 goals but doubt with both teams to score as I said the Argentina defense is very strong very difficult to penetrate Chile must be lucky to score
Same thing for Brazil vs Ecuador under 2.5  my choice  sadly Brazil wasted chances when they had to fight 10 players from the 15th minute. although I'm worried that Brazil will score more than 3 goals because of Ecuador red card.

Brazil vs Ecuador what fierce of this match as Brazil take lead very early through Casimiro, but we have six cards in first half with now both teams playing with 10 men and as it's going we can expect some more red cards as temperature is very hot in the ground from both sides

Ecuador was able to score and now its 1-1 and its really heating up. Both teams want a win here and the football is really great. Ecuador has an important point but a win would seal their world cup dream and there is 10 minutes left with a lot of room to make it happen.

Sheesh Ecudor Brazil. Now I was just about to add on my bets on Brazil to win and keep a clean sheet since all the favourites earlier won, giving me a great acca at over 10/1 -- Alisson just survived a red card after VAR downgraded it to yellow, but by 20th minute, both teams already were playing with 10 men!

Only 0-1 at 25th minute, but man, after the sterile AFCON games, these Conmebol ties are rowdy and nice to watch ha ha!

When it comes to the South America Qualifiers, the Colombia - Peru game tomorrow night is drawing my attention more honestly. Because both of these teams are on the brink of the promotion area. Colombia are one point ahead of Peru now but Colombia's current form is just terrible. They couldn't win even one game for so many weeks and got too many draws. They will surely aim to win this game one way or another. And Peru have a winning streak of two games seemingly. Colombia are the favourite team of this game and I believe in them to win this time.

^^^ Yeah, I'm pretty big on Wenger as a technical force of nature for good but I honestly can't see how a more frequent WC makes the world a better place. Certainly when the rich wigs think it helps refugees stay away from Europe, then you know they're too far removed from reality to ever make things right.

But back on the football, all I need is for Saudi to get a win and I'm happy for today. Scoreless draw at HT but otherwise it's a night for the favourites.
