Fair enough

I will add alternative currencies that can be mixed. I didn't do it because I'm basically not much interested in altcoins and don't know much about ETH mixers for example. Besides tornado cash if it still exists... It's also harder to track mentions on the web since it's not so popular.

I think it's worth creating a large spreadsheet with a list of sites and the capabilities of each service will be indicated on the right. For example, site name, accepts Ethereum +, accepts Litecoin -, and so on. Because I rarely use Bitcoin mixers, but I do use Ethereum mixers a lot. Such a spreadsheet will be useful for all users and will reduce the number of people deceived by scammers.

I don't think $7,000 was the trigger to disappear. It's not a big amount, especially compared to what has been spent. Perhaps there is a bigger fish that lost money in we don't know about (not everybody bitcoiner uses Bitcointalk) but $7k doesn't look 'good enough'
It doesn’t seem like an exit scam but it’s possible that they had scammed more users within this time which we are not aware of as not everyone comes here and complain on such scams. And few days ago, there was another complain which was a fault of the user who lost some BTC (assuming more than one at least as they received 3 BTC)- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55291465

Update:

Removing tumbler.to (ANN) from the list. This mixer didn't last long, another disposable service
Hopefully, nobody participated in their investment scheme here

Yeah their signature campaign is still active though and the alleged scammed amount of $7000 is roughly their campaign's payment for almost 1 month and a week, while they already run the campaign for several months now.

From what I see in the spreadsheet for the MyCryptoMixer signature campaign, it appears that the campaign has now been running for four weeks. They have 18 slots and their weekly budget is 1000 USD (+ BM fees ofc) per week.

Nevertheless you are right. It seems unlikely to exit-scam for only 7000 USD, if you have a weekly signature budget of 1000 USD. On the other hand it's obviously not a good sign, that their support didn't answer since Tuesday. Even if it's not an exit-scam, such a behaviour from a mixing service is pretty much unacceptable.

Unfortunately the current case of MyCryptoMixer reminds me a lot of Smartmixer or Bitmixcoin. Everyone knows how these things ended. Let's hope that artsidim will get his money back and the case is solved somehow.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Considering the effort/resources that have been spent to promote their service I find it weird to disappear after a few months of operating.

@bL4nkcode

Thxs.
I will remove it (and re-add it if it's resolved) but I believe they have a technical difficulty. From what I saw this afternoon it has to do with their server. If it's not resolved then the website will go offline next week.

@darktor

There are already 2 topic/post with such a list, I don't think there is a need for a third, nor to make another one in every forum section

MyCryptoMixer.com has an active scam accusation, I guess at least remove the site on the list temporarily until resolve or completely move to scam mixer list.

I add the service as a scam https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-bitcoin-tumbler-bitcoin-mixer-scamclone-websites-2021-5291982

It's better sticking with the old players  Wink

It's good to mix the mixers sometimes that's why.

I have seen about a half a dozen new "players" but most have ended up exit scamming in a space of less than a year because most have no reputation they have built at all, so exit scamming is an easy road from them as soon as they receive a huge amount of BTC from a victim.

If a new player is appears, it better to wait for a long time until their reputation grows to an extent where chances of exit scamming are so low

If we need to wait "a long time" before using a mixer, before its reputation is done, then not any mixer could sustain and couldn't progress anyway. All mixers start with zero reputation, including Chipmixer. The service started from scratch.

It's just some are smarter than others when marketing their site (and advertising on bitcointalk is not necessary the 1st place to market a service)
This is also why a lot close their service: low traffic, low activity, so low revenue and then decide to scam (not all do that by the way)

More Bitcoin mixers we have, better it is for everybody, for Bitcoin and some niches too. All desnerve a chance to prove that they can be reliable.

Sorry for delay. No, I was just thinking if there has been any new "players" in town worth looking for. Nothing special. The list is OK for info.

Any updates/changes to list of tumblers?
What kind of updates you are looking for? If you noticed any info to be added or removed, easy to ask op to do so. OP was recently updated last month .

some of the websites it says scam and some doesn't, this one it didn't say :-(
It does...? The one you used is right under the "Scam Bitcoin Mixers to avoid/closed" list.

The ones who are not a scam have this format:

⭐Name:ChipMixer
🔹Clearnet link: https://chipmixer.com
🔹Tor link: chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion
🔹Bitcointalk thread link: Here
🔹Fees: PWYW (Pay what you want)
🔹Minimum amount: 0.001

Take a look at the whole OP, from the start.

I just used sbqaxe6dwiydetyr.onion for the first time
after my deposit got confirmed i tried to send a payment, but every time when i try to do it i get a blank page.
on the network requests i see it returns status code 500.
I left their support a message, but did anyone encounter this issue?
Is there a TOR configuration i can use to fix this issue?
If you took enough time and did a simple search before using that link, you had surely come accross this thread and see that the link you used is for a scam mixer. Check the first comment right after op: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29058223
Use ctrl+f to search the link
Sorry for your loss money, you will not be able to get it back. Next time, use one of the mixers mentioned in op list and preferly DYOR before .

The main thread is misleading
the title is list of tumblers
some of the websites it says scam and some doesn't, this one it didn't say :-(
so i trusted it.
so where can i find the list of the reliable ones?
