What other sports you'll get to list Ronnie?

Hi sunsilk,

At the moment it is just the soccer, but if you tell me which events you are most interested in I can at least make the request, without being able to promise anything  Roll Eyes
Okay, thanks for the response Ronnie I've already seen that you have basketball so that's already fine.  Wink

Sad to say that I was wrong that TNC members will be representing the DOTA team for the Philippines since they are currently participating in a International competition which is the Leipzig Major. This was actually announced last two months ago and I totally forgot that there was a roster change. The only good news I see is that other pro players for other countries are missing as well since they are part of the Leipzig Major so it is pretty much a fair game for all in DOTA 2.
Group stage for Leipzig's major is on January 2020 so there's no conflict with the schedule and this is a different league from what we have on Sea games right now. The roster of team PH AFAIK went through several screening and probably same format as tournament qualifier and IIRC, it's around 77 pro players(all games included) but luckily, Team Adroit was chosen with 2 reserve players from other team.

Yep, you are one step ahead of me. Odds for for Philippines vs Vietnam available here, 34.5 point spread..... Shocked
Finally, I have been following this thread for a week now hoping someone would post a platform that caters 2019 Seagames. other than basketball what games are available for betting in Cloudbet?

Thank you for sharing that, good that I saw this when the game was not starting it, now it's more fun to watch this game as I have already put my bet.

I bet on the Philippines ATS, good luck to me.

Congrats, Gilas Pilipinas won impressively, covering the spread, the score, 110-69.

@rhomelmabini - John Marvin lost in the quarter finals Men's 81-KG Light Heavyweight category, but Charly Suarez advances to the semis in the Men's 60-KG Lightweight division with a TKO win.

Yes, they're close but there are also a high probability for the Philippines to win any of the medals to the remaining sports. I'm just hoping that Timor Leste gets their own medal, we all deserve a medal.
I guess so too, but just a question on my mind is what could be the remaining sport events out there that will still be dominated by the Philippines maybe boxing right? I still haven't heard any big news regarding this event yet. For Timor Leste I have a hunch that they can get it there are still plenty of time but the thing is these athletes are eyeing for a win amd if they don't dominate on that sport I bet they can't bring home any bacon even just a bronze.

looking forward to this thread,, i want to know who will be the leading after the seagames.  Grin

With the trend of the medal tally now, Philippines is 100% the top performer in terms of the medals gathered.

The race to the second and third spot is exciting as Indonesia is catching up with Vietnam. We still have a few days before this regional meet ends but i think Indonesia will solidify their 2nd spot, so better cheer for them bro.
Indonesia is now on the second spot making more golds a part from Vietnam still anybody's spot as the game still progressing. It's on the hands of each teams to hold for the position. Though the host country really dominated everything and with the numbers of gold that they've got it can't be denied that they are getting the top position. Hope for the best outcome of this tournament.

How many games are still in the schedule?

But what a comeback from Indonesian team, Vietnam did really good in the opening, but Indonesia come back strong and definitely seeing them to be the second spot in this meet. And as expected, the host nation win again.

I watch the opening, I just want to say congrats to Philippines as it is one of the best. Specially the drama around Manny Pacquiao carrying the torch, lol.

I was very surprised by the results obtained by the Vietnam men's volleyball team at the 2019 sea games event. They never won at all during the group stage. In the last match they were defeated by Cambodia with a score of 3-2. After previously they also lost to Indonesia and the host of the Philippines with a score of 3-0. Even though they were a team that had a semi-final subscription

That was an unbelievable match. The country, Indonesia, was also aiming to receive a lot of medals before they go home.

FYI,, indonesia was one of the leading country in south east asia so i think they also aim to have more medals. The volleyball match was good and very surprising in the ending.

The Philippines is still the leading country that has the most medal count especially the gold medal.
but the number 2&3 is very close things that much awaited to see less than a week from now.

I favor the host country they have the home and crowd advantage. Sometimes in serious moments crowd supports really matters but not at all times. In recent standings, it proves that the host country the Philippines is leading this tournament but it is not finished yet we will see in the following days.

I don't know if some betting sites cover SEA games, anyone knew?

This is two achievement to my country because right now base on ranking Philippines is number 1 plus we are host country.
Im very proud to be FIlipino and thank you for all athletics who participated in sea games they did job well done.

Philippines will end with big disparity of lead in the medal tally, that's for sure and they were inspired because they are the host country.

And this one would also make you proud even more.

Unfortunately, Efren Reyes didn't win a gold but settled for the bronze instead. Anyways, he gave it all but the breaks didn't went his way, he lost to Vietnam's Dinh, who is the world circuit carom champion. He did beat Thailand's opponent though to get a bronze. At age 65, we don't know if Efren can go on the next SEA games and chase that elusive gold medal.
for me?that is a great achievement thinking that he can get a gold in other Ball event since Carom was not his forte (though he is good in any billiard game as i know) and what felt me bad is the issue that he is going to retire after this SEAgame?i hope not because he will be missed.

the results until this day and I'm surprised with Timor Leste.. to date they haven't even gotten one medal, the quality of their athletes is still very poor.

This may be true but I don't think we should judge them. They may not get anything but they are trying, and as an athlete, that is amazing. Passion is what drives them and someone with a passion for what they are doing is unstoppable. Let's not judge and support our country, I am not bragging but I am proud that some of the players are from our province. I am from the Philippines By the way.
because they are not that competent so far as they are new in this event, but we must be happy for them as they are doing their best to compete even being lack of experiences, maybe in the next SEA games we will be seeing them having medals like what other country has.

Another Filipino Legend, Efren "Bata" Reyes, beats Thailand’s Thongchai Punyawee in the mens 1 cushion carom.
Nice to hear that Efren still has it. This is his last hurrah before he retires from this sports. I hope he gets a gold medal on this one.
what is much best on this?the ball game was not Efrens favorite yet he is movin forward,he admitted that this carom(carambola) was not really his game but since we have no representative so he get the Job.

Because it is not being played around the world as compare to 8 or 9 ball, that's why he said that it is least of his favourite. Bet we all  know Efren, he is very humble person, he usually doesn't admit that this is what started him in billiards as far as I know. So let's hope that in his last hurrah, he can finally gets a deserving gold medal here.

Wow, Brunei just got their first ever gold medal. Congratulations to them.

I thought earlier today or yesteday that there's already a medal for TL but it turns out to be a fake news.

Yes, there's a lot of buzz around TL and I do hope that all countries at least win a gold medal here.

Interesting to see Indonesia surging ahead, any particular sports though that made the push to tie with Vietnam? So expect a close fight between the two nation, Indonesia has more athletes so I'm expecting them to overtake Vietnam in the last days of the game.

Edit: as per the link, Indonesia has 39 golds already as compare to Vietnam with 37.
