What other sports you'll get to list Ronnie?

Hi sunsilk,

At the moment it is just the soccer, but if you tell me which events you are most interested in I can at least make the request, without being able to promise anything  Roll Eyes
Okay, thanks for the response Ronnie I've already seen that you have basketball so that's already fine.  Wink

Sad to say that I was wrong that TNC members will be representing the DOTA team for the Philippines since they are currently participating in a International competition which is the Leipzig Major. This was actually announced last two months ago and I totally forgot that there was a roster change. The only good news I see is that other pro players for other countries are missing as well since they are part of the Leipzig Major so it is pretty much a fair game for all in DOTA 2.
Group stage for Leipzig's major is on January 2020 so there's no conflict with the schedule and this is a different league from what we have on Sea games right now. The roster of team PH AFAIK went through several screening and probably same format as tournament qualifier and IIRC, it's around 77 pro players(all games included) but luckily, Team Adroit was chosen with 2 reserve players from other team.

Yep, you are one step ahead of me. Odds for for Philippines vs Vietnam available here, 34.5 point spread..... Shocked

Wow, Brunei just got their first ever gold medal. Congratulations to them.

I thought earlier today or yesteday that there's already a medal for TL but it turns out to be a fake news.

the results until this day and I'm surprised with Timor Leste.. to date they haven't even gotten one medal, the quality of their athletes is still very poor.
Philippines is currently leading which makes me proud as a Filipino. Although there have been many issues about poor preparation before the game officially start, our athletes manage to bring back the pride of our country. Though I am happy with the standing of the Philippines right now, I feel bad about Timor-Leste athletes for having no medals yet. I've heard that Filipinos showed their support towards Timor-Leste. Some netizens were actually cheering for Timor-Leste to motivate the athletes to do well in SEA Games.
I hope their athletes would gain more spirit and to win a medal before the SEA games end.

what is much best on this?the ball game was not Efrens favorite yet he is movin forward,he admitted that this carom(carambola) was not really his game but since we have no representative so he get the Job.

At age 65 and still representing your country, what best can you ask for? Not many can say that. It does not matter if it is 9 ball, 8 ball or carom, as long as it has cue stick and ball, he is fine with it.

Maybe their country is not that developed yet. To be honest, I never know Timor Leste existed until now.

The Philippines has a continuous winning streak these days and it gathers more gold reward over Malaysia and Vietnam which I believe that it could rally more winning until the end of SEA games. Being a host country really gives an advantage to the players and feels comfortable with the place. We have only 7 days left before it ends up but I believe that the Philippines will keep on the track.

But I'm watching and hoping that the 3 bottom countries could make some medals for they are still struggling hard to win. Too bad to think that they'll go home with nothing. Though some Pinoy is cheering up for Timor Leste to help them boost but sadly they still can't make to win.

who is timor leste  ?  a philipino too or from other countries  ? thats nice to know that philipine guys are cheering for other contestants which shows how good and kind they are  . being helpful  to others are i think the reason on why they are blessed to win on games  like this  .  hosting a country indeed gives advantage its because its thier homecourt which means they are more familiar on the environment and also confident because thier are many country men that support or cheer for them

Timor Leste is a country bro. Eventhough I am not so familiar about this country, it seems they are just new to join the Southeast Asian Nation. People joining the SEA games encouraged this country to win atleast one medal in their name so that every Nation joining the competition will bring home a medal.
Okay lets add up some links for more search https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Timor  Cool

Just surprised that they arent even getting a single medal? They should at least improve their athletes for next years SEA games.
A single medal to be won would really be a having that proud feeling for their country.hehe.

Host country is dominating but 2nd and 3rd place isnt really that far away to catch up.

Timor Leste is a country bro, not a man. They always on the bottom of the medal tally on SEAG as they send only a few athletes may be because of budget constraint as this country is poorer than other ASEAN countries but the good with that country is they always sent contingents.

Right, it was used to be under the control of Indonesia, but they relinquished everything giving birth to a new nation, Timor Leste. So it's a fairly young country to begin with, but they try to send athletes in SEA games because they are now part of it.

That's why they're being cheered for, just imagine you and your friends for many years and then you have someone joining your group. Of course you are going to support them whatever you can and this is what what the host country is doing, egging them to give their best shot to win a medal, doesn't matter what colour is it.

you should Visit Philippines to find how Hospitable and Kind people Filipino is,Cheering for other country is much appreciated as Timor Leste has been underdog and a small country so they need some support and Filipino does this for them.

Another Filipino Legend, Efren "Bata" Reyes, beats Thailand’s Thongchai Punyawee in the mens 1 cushion carom.
Nice to hear that Efren still has it. This is his last hurrah before he retires from this sports. I hope he gets a gold medal on this one.

Because it is not being played around the world as compare to 8 or 9 ball, that's why he said that it is least of his favourite. Bet we all  know Efren, he is very humble person, he usually doesn't admit that this is what started him in billiards as far as I know. So let's hope that in his last hurrah, he can finally gets a deserving gold medal here.

I was interested to figure out the match Vietnam vs Thailand for soccer today and as the defender champion Thailand will attempts to win because if they draw or lost then possibly they cannot went to knockout phase and for other Group i think Cambodia can able to make good achievement because they can beat Malaysia and with Myanmar they went to semifinal match waiting next opponents
this is one sad thing about Philippine ASKALS because they have been eliminated even they got the wins.though thats the rules we must obey and follow.

I think it's expected that the Philippines will dominate the 5x5 basketball competition in this SEA games. Now that the Philippines is sending their best players it's more like your expected odds is inevitable.
This is almost a sure gold for the Philippines. You can see the height difference and the experience from the players. Some of the Ph basketball players in the current roster have FIBA world experience.

I am excited for the first-ever eSports event in SEA games. The games for MBLL, Starcraft and HearthStone will start today. Which country do you think will dominate eSports?

Who's with the sentiment of feeling sad for Timor Leste?

I hope that they'll be able to get their first medal whether it will be gold, silver or bronze. They're still a new country and hoping that in other games they'll dominate and continue to improve with their focused games.

Just picking on this. Cloudbet are offering odds for the Soccer tournament which is obviously at a critical point, with the final Group games being played.
What other sports you'll get to list Ronnie?

Hi sunsilk,

At the moment it is just the soccer, but if you tell me which events you are most interested in I can at least make the request, without being able to promise anything  Roll Eyes
