Most of those shares weren't rejected, but already processed and added to your reward in previous rounds. A round ends when the pool finds a block.

Payouts are made once an hour, you recieve a payement when your confirmed reward has crossed your set treshhold.

Also, I take it it'll take over a few hours to confirm my rewards?

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Block and https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Block_chain have some additional information. 100 confirmations means 100 blocks in the chain on top of the block in question.

Let me ask you guys a question..Slush pool....

client shows over 2,000 shares on my end on d1 and d0 shows over 2,000 shares.
Slush only counting 244 for d1 and 200 for d0...is something off?

Ive been getting constant unable to cumminicate RPC errors for 8 hours today.

Also, it says i've got 0.49 BTC, how does this get paid out? I dont see any buttons

A block created after the block you're looking at gives 1 confirmation and since approx. 6 blocks are generated every hour, it takes about 16h40m for a block to reach 100 confirmations.

Can't help you with the technical background, though.

Well, obviously that was the problem.

I've been able to get connections from time to time. I even got a few block this morning. And about a week ago, when I first started with BitCoin, I didn't have any problem get my first 125k blocks. So I didn't really think a port map would be necessary. But I just added a port map for port 8333 and in no-time I got 110 connections. Grin

So, shame on me, I guess. Even if "should" work anyway.

I'm not on Windows, btw. I'm running 0.3.21-beta on a Mac (the one linked on bitcoin.org).

Update: and a few minutes later I got all the blocks, and my payment came. Cheesy

Sounds that way, I'm not 100% sure but believe if you didn't have port forwarding setup you'd still be able to make some outgoing connections, so try checking any firewall type programs you have running to make sure access is allowed. I also noticed another thread recently (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=9821.0) where lots of people were having connection issues running the latest client. Try the following sort of command line options suggested in that thread:

bitcoin.exe -addnode=69.164.218.197 -addnode=64.22.103.150 -addnode=173.242.112.53 -addnode=178.79.147.99 -addnode=184.106.111.41 -addnode=91.85.220.84 -addnode=173.224.125.222 -addnode=86.5.50.90 -addnode=178.255.199.86

If you're running Windows you can just create a shortcut and add that to the "target" parameters. I'm still running an older client myself (0.3.20.2) so haven't tried it personally.

That'll be why you haven't seen it, anyway if you leave it running it should download it all, you'll see that number slowly go up if it's working until it's a bit above 127600. Your payment will be "out there" just your client doesn't know about the block yet.

My first payout was made about 10 hours ago, but it still haven't show up in my BitCoin account. I don't know how long this usually takes? 12h? 24h?

I've been using the pool for a few days now, but when i go to the site and click the graphs-section, i'm not seeing any images whatsoever. How long do i need to mine to see all the graphs, or is this bugging or something?
