Can someone ban this troll before he actually identifies the real cause of the problem and we have to come to grips with the real problem?

Unlike some competitors, we have always focused our energy and attention on improving our service rater than accusing our competition and we will continue to do so. Bad luck happens and probability of one in X surely does not refute it. We believe that we are the most transparent pool around with the huge amount of data we are publishing. And considering the market share, it seems that miners appreciate this approach and our service better.
I'll prove that your claims that the data you publish either does have user identifiable information in it or it can not be used to verify that it was mined on the pool.

To verify that a share is mined on a pool, and the hash result of the share is above some difficulty, requires the the share nonces, the full block header work information and transactions (or the slice), and the full coinbase transaction details.

If you do not include the coinbase transaction details (and the transactions used to produce the merkle root) then you cannot verify that the share was mined to the pool.
The miner could be mining to some other address and the block reward can then be passed onto the miner and the pool owner but not to the other users - by simply not providing, in the coinbase transaction, anything to identify it was the pool and use some other block payout address.

if you do include the coinbase transaction details then that also must include the unique identification of the miner who the work was sent to.
Thus for blocks found on the pool, you can determine their miner id and thus the user who had that miner id, and thus also associate other work for the same miner in the data.

In other words, we completely side-stepped answering the question, but we're bigger....which we all know means better right?   Everyone to BTC.com!!!

@SlushPool official

Can you please comment on this.
And on the other older case as well, thanks

So ... some fun numbers for those of you that have some hash rate at slush also Smiley

Their last 5 blocks diff% is 1117%, 127%, 237%, 119%, 509%

Putting that into a CDF[Erl] calculation says it should happen about once every ... 717839 blocks Smiley

Sorta like one in a million - well almost Smiley

The lower tail gamma is 6.96535e-06 so i.e. it's one in (1/6.96535e-06) or 1 in 143567.8 x 5 blocks

But I'd suggest you get them to look into that - coz when they were looking for that 1117% block yesterday, their #1 top miner with 400PH was showing no found blocks ... ...

Yeah you really need to keep an eye on the stats ... though some pools (ckpool) have none at all to verify such things and don't keep any share statistics to check such issues.

Ahh ole slush letting huge miners “test” again.  Was it an accidental block withold again? Asic boost gone awry ehh?  Again no compensation sorry my bad guys.  Remember this is beta after all.    I’d suggest just because this pool is big means nothing.  It’s mostly one or two people controlling that hash in the guise of looking decentralized Cheesy. That’s why you have 400 peta miner with no blocks.  And whoever that miner is surely doesn’t understand why bitcoin has value.  Greed has no boundaries.

BR

Edit what I should say is greed has no consequence in today’s society.  I have no worries nature will fix this for us sooner rather than later.  Let us not ignore the signs.  Wink

Here is a screenshot of slushpool 7 hours ago when it had difficulty finding blocks i.e. 3% of bitcoin network hashrate. https://ibb.co/cf5RcJ">https://thumb.ibb.co/cf5RcJ/slushpool.png" alt="slushpool" border="0">

Six hours later, slushpool is 7% https://ibb.co/fKc04y">https://thumb.ibb.co/fKc04y/7percent.png" alt="7percent" border="0">.

https://www.blockchain.com/pools?timespan=24hours
Its proper bad! I have switched, Slush were upsetting me for some time with this irregular payment system that is near to impossible to keep track of.. better to have a payment at 12 midnight for your work and its done. not this rubbish.. miners working for days without a payment.
