So, I updated to the latest GUIMiner, same settings as before.
Slush's Pool, Username and password, Tahiti, core 0.
Outputs this and does nothing.

Please update to latest cgminer, it fixes some race conditions.

Edit: Do you have correct username/password?

I'm having a problem with my 2nd PC mining on stratum, with cgminer 2.8.7.

As seen in this screen shot

It works fine with the same config file with cgminer 2.3.1 and on 50btc with 2.8.7 any idea why I would be getting the JSON stratum auth failed?

Congrats!  Glad I'm on this pool!

Generation: 25 + 13.56295554 total fees  not bad at all!

I see it wasn't me who solved it.

Man, what I want to know is how can there be over 13btc in fees on this block when in the whole stats page there isn't a single block that had over 1btc in fees?

Did the fees go up or something?  What am I missing?

People chose to pay higher fees.

Satoshi Dice was going bonkers as well.

Slush --

Looking at my stats, it looks like my "estimated reward" hasn't changed after the Halving.

Does something on your end need updating?

Man, that's a lot of generosity.  You don't see that very often with people and their bitcoins...

Yes, I expect the same :-). I just found nice article, it's worth reading for newbies: http://bitcoinmagazine.net/block-reward-halving-a-guide/

I also predict that if the exchange rate doesn't significantly rise in the next few weeks, several pools will close their doors (not slush). They have fixed overhead (hosting, bandwidth, etc) that won't go away and suddenly they will be earning half as much in fees.
