No.Despite that factor that 60% of people don't use computers, still bitcoin has succeeded and even it has created curiosity even among people of such groups who are computer illiterate.

Mostly now used cellphone and bitcoin is already installed in other way they can access bitcoin without computer.

Regardless of whether individuals can't get to a PC, would they be able to get to a cell phone? A tablet, shabby cell phone, anything thusly? On the off chance that they would then be able to they can simply ahead and utilize and purchase bitcoin at whatever point they need. A PC is a certain something, and I kinda comprehend why such a significant number of don't have this yet - however a TON of individuals on the planet have telephones fit for utilizing bitcoin, even in poor countries.

...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.
Yes, this probably the main reason that why Bitcoin can never have large scale adoption. There is still a huge amount of population who are completely undigitalized and they will never know how to use it. Especially the people living in underdeveloped countries are illiterate. Some are not even aware of the English language, computer, smart phones, etc. They will never be able to use it. But if we really think practically there was a time when people didn't even know properly about fiat and money but now they are well aware about everything so this digital change too can come anytime if we begin to move towards mass adoption.

As we all know that bitcoin is a very wide crypto currency and there are millions of people who are investing into bitcoin but still there is a huge part of population who don’t know anything about the bitcoin and those who are completely unaware of bitcoin and specifically those living in remote area of the world where there is no access to the internet and for them we need to create awareness among those people and if they don’t know even how to operate computer but still if something about bitcoin goes into their mind , it could influence their minds.

Sooner or later, everyone will have an electronic device, a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. Therefore, this will not be an obstacle to the development of bitcoin.

Computers are also relatively recently entered into our lives, so in a few decades everyone will have this gadget. And accordingly, bitcoin will be easier to develop.

If bitcoins are accepted by the majority of the States as an alternative currency and it will be really convenient, then over time people will start to pass to cryptocurrency and will get a computer or a smartphone.

You are right, so the full success of bitcoin can not come at this stage of human development. But generations will change and there will be no person who will not use a computer or smartphone.

I think that the near future most of the world's population will have access to the computer, so that everything is not so bad and will eventually be even better))

Many people do not have access to a laptop or pc but do have access to a smartphone. Even in remote and impoverished areas people have smartphones-however they may well not have the resources to be able to invest in or use BTC.

Since this thread is posted in January of this year it is not accurately that 60% of world population do not have internet access(or have PC). By some research it is close to 45% which in any case is too much, but this number is slowly decreasing. The data says that North America (95%) and Europe (85%) have the highest rate of internet users, and on the other hand Africa is at the bottom with only 35% of population using internet.

Bitcoin will not fail because 45% of world population is not have access to internet, situation will change for the better in future because technology is advancing rapidly and becomes accessible to more and more people every day.

This is not true. People today may not have a personal computer but they have a smart phone which can access internet and can access butcoin in a different way. So bitcoin will never fail. And infact, there are more and more people into bitcoin.

Just keep in mind that these 60% percent are people who live in rural areas, in deserts, forests, jungle. A larger number of the population of the same Africa in the eye even a disk phone is not seen, not that computers. Bitcoin will develop primarily in developed countries and in developed regions, which have a developed infrastructure. My grandmother, the computer saw only on my Desk or when my parents give her on Skype with friends to talk. And you want to say that because of this bitcoin has no future? Laughter and only.

If 60% peoples are not accessing computer but possibility is they can access Smartphones also bitcoin can transact by smartphones because many third party apps is giving facility of transaction so with Ur logic we can't say bitcoin will fail. if we talk about bitcoin in mainstream so bitcoin is a digital decentralized currency which is control by blockchain only bitcoin can be used by who is know this currency very well.

We are still being far away from having bitcoin accepted as a currency to replace current currencies. Right now I think for the next centuries we could only imagine having real currencies AND cryptocurrencies. Just think about making a transaction... every transaction I am doing is still causing my heart to beat faster, especially if I am using a certain blockchain for the first time. I could not imagine my grandfather or the majority of old people who are not concerned with computers doing this. We are still at the phase to ease such things in order to get a more broad public acceptance. Maybe people 200 years from now will say "oh they really used actual coins and paper money back then?" Since the world is also developing I think the 60% will also decrease.

This is the data of the past generation. With the present generation almost 80-90% of the population were much close to technology related activities. In this regard people making use of computers or accessing it is a simple thing. In a much shorter time period they'll learn about bitcoin as well, which assures the success of bitcoin as well other digital currencies.

Even if there are too many people unable to access the computer, there are many ways to create a solution for it. Not only is the computer a way to connect with bitcoin, but the most important thing is internet and you can access the internet with your smartphone, tablet and any gadget. Now a large part of people have used and even more chat will use crypto coins!

Crypto currency will be introduced into our lives for decades. In addition, as it is being implemented, it is changing and improving itself, acquiring new forms and possibilities. During this time and the level of technical security of the population will change. So it's too early for us to draw conclusions about whether the majority of the world's population will be able to access the crypto currency through the computer and the Internet. The situation will change many times.
