...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.
I think comparing Bitcoin to physical money such as u.s dollar is irrational as both exist in their own circulation both have unique advantages and dis advantages as for real money/fiat can be physically felt why bitcoin is a virtual currency though it has no physical image it circulates in virtual world and serve as mediator or third party for online transaction to  make our payment system more easy and less complicated. even only 10% of the world population will use crypto currency specifically bitcoin it would still exist and never vanish.
If you really want something to do and succeed then you have to do things out of your comfort zone. In this case making the lack of computer as an excuse to say that we can't access btc is a poor idea for me. It's not just computer that we can use to do it remember that btc is accessible through our cellphone as long as it has the capato enter internet.

Well technically speaking we all know that the backbone and strength of bitcoin is internet. Accessing it can be achieved by using computers or cellphones. It doesn't matter even if you don't have computer because there's always another way to access something. It's not just the computer that we can use as a way of entering bitcoin.

Not the amount of knowledge of bitcoin will cause its collapse. The only thing to knock down here is the demand. If there is no demand and pure negative news that the events are happening it may have fallen.

So do not be afraid because many support bitcoins.
Yes because of the demand it makes bitcoin more valuable. The adoption of bitcoin in our community is still continue that makes it popular day by day on which helps the bitcoin to be successful in its goal to change the financial status of every user of it. We are also in early stage in adopting bitcoin as a payment method that's why we should need to be patience so that we are become benefited from its possibly good outcome in the future that makes the demand huge.

Seriously, bitcoin cannot go down for that reason. It is already given that there are places which internet connection/modern technology is not accessible so it is also understandable that bitcoin and cryptos are not known in there. Even if we really want bitcoin to be used in the whole world, with the case above, we cannot achieve 100%. Anyways, bitcoin is still doing fine even if not all people are able to use computer and know about bitcoin. Yes its price is on dump but dumps like these are common in here and this is just the volatility acting up.

We don't have to be pressured achieving that 100% because bitcoin will still be able to recover, succeed and maybe surpassed the $20 000 peak price last year. The population might help in increasing the demand but it may also result to more people knowing bitcoin but do not know what to really do with it.

The 60% of people (if this statistics is accurate) that can not get access to computer, will have to move towards a technological driven age else, they will be left behind and be the bigger loser.  But trust their government will do something about this. Nowadays, everyone desires to have a mobile phone, so various state government or private sector will move in and take profit while rendering service. Bitcoin won't fail.

this is not about 60% of the world population does not have computer access
with the rapid development of technology today make the world community must follow the technology
if they can not follow the flow of technology then they will be more left behind
Yes, I believe Bitcoin will be the world's payment trend in the future so if people do not accept it they are being left behind by the tech world and that is really annoying. in the current 4.0 era.

In order to own and use Bitcoins you do not need to have access to a computer. You can have the most usual smartphone, but at the same time use almost any crypto currency using the mobile application of this project. The one who wants to, will always find a solution.

60% of the world population may not be having access to computers.... but a few years ago, it was more than 80%. The availability of internet is increasing at a rapid pace. Very soon, it will be available on every nook and corner of the world.
As time goes by, technology's reach extends even more. The 60% computer illiterate population wouldn't stay 60% forever. If anything, as generations pass on to one another, they become more and more computer literate. Who knows? Maybe in the next couple of years the world is comprised of 80% people who are computer literate? We shouldn't look on the negatives since science and technology has got our backs.

That's one of the very reasons why everybody could not have bitcoin or can't use cryptocurrency at all. With other areas of the world that seems to be deprived of accessing the cyberspace means bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be used as means to buy products or to pay for the services given to us.

Bottomline is, a cashless society is very hard to achieve.

Oh yeah but still 40% can access the computers and thats why bitcoin will up rise forever. The technological advances are not present in each country but there still exists some sort of technical life. It doesn't matter how many are in it, what matters is how many are using it for real use and how many of them are staying here. So what if they cant access the computer as they never affected the basic economy of the globe. If that can work then surely bitcoin will work too. We dont need crowd in the crypto currency, what we need is quality investors who are willing to spend lot of money over it. Thats enough to sustain the bitcoin over net.

That's why Leadership is important to guide the people who did not access in computer. Bitcoin is there but Internet in isolated area is not enough to supply in all constituent because of a lack of fund to buy big facilities from internet providers. I admit that BITCOIN word is very popular in my country but not all people can afford to buy computer and cellphone because in the first place no enough money to buy it secondly
no signal in rural area. That is number problem here in the Philippines so I hope that Chinese Government willing to help and spending fund to provide Hi-Speed Internet in our country to the purpose of helping to Bitcoin become number one use for the entire world.

The lack of internet connection does not mean that the bitcoins will fail because even if the majority of the people all around the world are not using that thing doesn't dictate the things that will hapen to that thing. The people that will still continue to support it is the one that will keep them alive. As long as the bitcoins have some users in it they will gpnna rise up. They will not gonna destroy that easily because the bitcoin proce are depending on the people they are just falling because people are selling them.
