Without delving into why it happens, one thing I noticed upon receiving the 500 8BIT is that my wallet staked the coins without being encrypted or unlocked for staking.
whats the plan...Maybe we should look into a coin swap.

I'm pretty sure Bitcreditscc put hours in to revamping our code.

I think we should switch to it and see what problems remain.

It looks there is again withdrawal problem with Bittrex Sad
Yesterday I sent some coins from Bittrex to my local wallet, but they did not reach it. And the TX ID shown by Bittrex is invalid (does not exist here: http://explorer.8-bit.party/Undecided

I spoke to Mullick a few days ago and everything is fine with Cryptsy / 8BIT, so you just made that up yourself?

whats going on here?Im branded a fudder here, tinkles talks to mullick he says all is fine then the next day he says it not. That  makes me a fudder ? talking the truth makes me a fudder? then theres the blow up doll guy,he calls me a Grade A fudder
for telling the truth, they are are no better than 8bitparty.i dont understand why these people are trying to destroy this coin?

Thanks for the info. I know you were only trying to help. (giving info) Lets move forward and fix the problem and get this thing going again. I think tinkles was just stressing himself out. He was trying to get things moving and then some bad info. came out. (cryptsy problem) and he might have over reacted. I'm sure he didnt mean anything negative. He has done a lot for the coin by getting people talking again.  I didnt look at anything he said in a negative way and I didnt think you were a fudder.

The VPS I'm running the faucet on is not only a fixed IP, but it's on a network directly linked to several tier 1 backbones... I ALREADY run a wallet there 24/7 for the faucet.  Unless it's going to utterly destroy my VPS bill (I get up to 2.4T/mo for my current service), and assuming it'll run on VPS sort of machine specs (1core/1.5G/150G), and run on ubuntu 14.04, we can certainly talk about putting a seednode there as well.

It's VERY possible that your node is already seednode.
Shot
Code:
host node00.8-bit.party
few times to find your IP.

$COUNT=0
$while [ $COUNT -lt 100 ]; do nslookup node00.8-bit.party | grep ; let COUNT=$COUNT+1; sleep 1; done

(for anyone who cares, that's basic unix for I tried 100 times with 1 second between each attempt)

not a single hit... seemingly not a seednode.

I am sure that the seed node situation is down to incorrect configuration for allowing IPv6 address translation. Are the seeds being ran from peoples homes? Incorrect router settings?

Sorry I do not know the state of your network and whether you have static IP nodes and dedicated VPS for the job or not.

The seeds added to the wallet are IPv4 addresses converted to IPv6.

Why not setup some actual IPv6 nodes on a VPS and I can add those or someone can add those to the wallet and remove all the other seed entries.

From Bitcreditscc

I think you guys should look at what i have done:  https://mega.nz/#F!Z54iQSzB!Lz-V7oHJWbgPQuONAL_T5A

It requires some polishing, but should put you up to version 0.11.2 of DASH or 0.30.16.8 of BCR.

version 0.12.x of DASH is the current, but i have not bothered reading the code as i doubt it still has relevance to the direction i have been taking.

Thank you!!!!

You refused to back up your claim, even if you were right.  I called you new guy, because you don't communicate here until a few days ago.  And I said I wouldn't call you a liar for 24 hours, and as you were correct, I didn't call you one.... And your problem is?

Nature of this idea (8BIT coin) is very volatile. Moreover, most of problems are inherited from original dev therefore it's hard to keep this idea strong without utter community support.

Besides you being a silly rabbit.you dont know anything worth respect

tinkles knows he didnt tell the truth, and he attacked me I settin straight,i didnt know im done drop it

Just to set the record straight, what I said was:

not 100percent sure but...can be traded on the exchange but they wont take deposits or withdraws until devs fix the wallet

I spoke to Mullick a few days ago and everything is fine with Cryptsy / 8BIT, so you just made that up yourself?

Checking my messages, it was actually 5 days.  But also, as I had several chats with him, I assumed he would contact me first if a new problem happened.  I had 2 messages with him in the last 2 days also.

So I said 'a few' days and actually it was 5, then I asked you for a source, which you didn't give, so I asked you if it was FUD.

So that makes me a liar...ok great lol Cheesy

The core group here is awesome, seriously, but somehow outside of that, 8bit seems to attract assholes like flies.

It's like a few different predictable sitcom plots. (except it's not funny)

* New guys enters forum
* New guy makes post about something important that's going to happen
* Established community member asks for source of claim
* New guy (with varying lengths of time to get to this): "Are you calling me a liar?!?!"
* New guy responds to everything with anger and venom, regardless as to if he was correct or not.
* Established community members start to question if putting up with people who behave this way is worth the effort.

Ugh.
