It has been some weeks since i last checked the thread. Wasnt even up to date that mastertrader777 was finally taking it over.
From my point of view we need a relative amount of coins per mn.
Maybe 1024 is high and 512 low. I like the idea of 888 8bit per mn.
I would like to see services for masternodes if its possible mastertrader777, as if they are likely to offer or host a service and get fees paid for it.  Smiley
768 or 888 sounds good to me

^^^^^ This. Exactly.
Hard to tell which way to go ...I dont think 512 or 1024 is a lot for a masternode.

How about 768 8bit per Masternode?

A compromise met in the middle for everyone?

When takeover starting? What we waiting for now?

I appreciate all the points of view. I hope we can come to a mn agreement soon.

512, 768, 888, 1024  ALL OK with me!

888 I vote for this one. It's a lucky number....

768 has my vote.  It makes sense.   For the big guys and the little guys.

Or just make it 888 for fun

Call me ignorant, but, Is there a way to set-up a voting system by which you vote by sending an 8-Bit to a specific address for either 512 or 1024 requirement for Masternode?  After the voting period ends the coins that were used as votes should be burned by the dev/escrow further reducing the supply and increasing the value of the coin.  If people know the coins will be burned people may not send more than one coin to vote, if you do, your loss I suppose.  It seems we can go around in circles here all day trying to decide this.  Both sides of the table have their merits.

i dont see why raising masternodeprice is a good thing @ this point.
about 170 masternode running as we speak.and people are running multiple nodes.
I just would be more convenient for who is running 15-30 masternodes but it cut's out the small players
To get more people involved would benefit more then just raising the price.
i they dont want a masternode @ 112 8bit,why would they want one for 1024 8bit

It would eat up a lot of supply. If there were fewer masternodes you would get a higher payout. Wouldnt that attract people to buy more coins. In theory...As long as the people that owned masternodes didnt dump.
If it's easier/cheaper to set up a masternode, more ppl will do exactly that. hence more coins are on hold.

We are moving up..... Now is the time to buy cheap....last chance...soon we will actually be back on track....Very few coins. Read the op.....We have masternodes, anon, and a low price for now. On many exchanges too.

if you are buying 8bit for a MN then DONT buy on cryptsy as their wallet is not working properly.  i was lucky i only bought a small amount so its not much to lose.
After confirming it gave a txid, but this cannot be found on 8 bit blockchain and coins are either stuck or lost.    It could be a problem with cryptsy or the 8bit wallet itself is broken.  the logfile still show every block received is an orphan, and has misbehaving peers errors that ips get repeatedly banned.  Syncing the wallet is incredibly slow because of these errors on 8bit network. :\

As a test of the above, I did 2 withdraws to my local wallet. My crysptsy withdraw has not shown up yet. I was able to withdraw from Bittrex normally and the transaction appeared seemingly instantly.

I have no problem with my bittrex wallet I have not tried crypsy. My wallet has no problems. Which wallet are you using? Im using v2.0.0.0-g

Considering this is a 100% PoS coin, if there are for example 150 masternodes and someone owns 100 masternodes, what currently prevents them from double spending or doing something malicious when they control over 50% of the MNs?

I would think this would only be used to undermine anonymity. Dark had this problem thats why they went  with the higher masternode price. Another reason to increase the price of the masternode.
On another note I would  like to know if it is possible to have a gui on the anonymity of this coin. You can send coins anonymously but only from the the console. Not really user friendly.
