i dont see why raising masternodeprice is a good thing @ this point.
about 170 masternode running as we speak.and people are running multiple nodes.
I just would be more convenient for who is running 15-30 masternodes but it cut's out the small players
To get more people involved would benefit more then just raising the price.
i they dont want a masternode @ 112 8bit,why would they want one for 1024 8bit

It would eat up a lot of supply. If there were fewer masternodes you would get a higher payout. Wouldnt that attract people to buy more coins. In theory...As long as the people that owned masternodes didnt dump.

The key is to force people to lock as much coin as possible. So the coins in circilation with scarce, causing the demand higher the price. Economics 101.

^^ thats not true the payout per day is same dosnt matter if there is 5 or 500 MN

That is NOT true. There are limited amount of blocks generated everyday. So the math is total amount of blocks generated per day * 0.88 / MN amount.

so thats about 1188 8 bit a dayfor nodes. so 5 or 500 nodes dosnt let that 1188 go up

If there 5 masternodes each will theoratically get 1188/5 coins per day. If there are 500 mns each will get 1188/500 coins per day.

thats why they want to have it 1024 so they can have x% of coins and have MN control and can dump

So block explorer...I can get one up and running.

Also are we at 512 or 1024 8bit Masternodes?

What else does the community wish to revamp or change within 8bit?

I will have crypto graphics work on some new content for the takeover, must message him to see what his availability is.

Let me know what you all are thinking?

Cheers,

i would ratter see a 1024 node, i dont think letting someone get cheap nodes in order to dump back into the market would be a good idea.

How is the cost of the masternode correlated with the intentions of the person running it..? I am indeed curious.. Please explain.

As to me, if someone intents to dump coins back on the market, he will do it either way... If nodes are expensive, then he will earn bigger amounts and dump bigger amounts on the market. Having smaller cost will make masternodes more popular, and will increase variety of people running it for different purposes... Hence the price will be more stable.

Could someone please explain what is the benefit of having masternodes cost 1024 coins? Just saying "I prefer something" does not sound too convincing. The reason, please  Grin

People usually dump when they see no future, believe the coin wont go any higher, or just plain need money. If the price of master-nodes goes up to say 1024 then more coins will be held in a wallet(in theory) ,which in turn would limit the amount of coins at the exchange. If payout is .82(unchanged) per master node then there would be fewer master-nodes and fewer payouts to dump. Which would slowdown the amount of coins produced each day.  Finding the right number for a master-node is important because if its too expensive no one will set one up. if its too cheap they will set up too many. I believe the function would be to have many running from different parts of the world to run game servers not one whale running 50. so 512 or 1024 seem OK to me. I would prefer 512 but I understand why 1024 would be OK too.

simple no benefit! the initial plan of dev! was that running master node through a kind of service would have MN payout. Other " MN" just running of home pc would have had stake payout!

So a server MN that has example: torrentz  or  8bit games would get the MN payout.

this idea seems to be forgotten! by greedy FOOKS with big bags that want to dump big time! dont get fooled twice I said many times before.

If the master node is going to be 1024 people also need to run servers running the shit that's promised! only then they deserve the payout in my opinion!

If we want more people in 8BIT, the price of masternode should not be too high, so everyone could have a chance to play with it. 8BIT should not be only for wealthy ones to make money, it should be fun thing to play with, as it used to be Smiley

1024 could be ok too, but 512 is more balanced, especially taking into account there are just 168,482 8BIT coins!

exactly this! also the masternode control would be more balanced!

I understand the heavy bags want 1024 maybe even I am heavy bagged (wich i;m not obv) but its about the community!

1024 8bit for each MN. New logo would be cool.

Well i'm cool with both, i just dont want to see a dump fest  with the rewards, there is one coin offering file hosting in the forum maybe the dev of sigu could help us.

I will send a message to the Singular dev, and see if he can give us a hand. His tech is actually pretty cool.

I would like to see a android/mobile wallet with encrypted msg function.
It could even cost a small fee, which is destroyed to help some on inflation controll.
And ofc inwallet games or other services the masternode tech can provide..
Prefer 1024 coins for a masternode, but 512 is fine too.

Happy staking/masternoding!
