So to sum it up, you recommednd writing Bitrex and wait for their feedback?

The problem is that Bittrex is overloaded and they explicitly ask to do not create new tickets with already open issues. That's why I did not ask you to bump issues I raised - delisting and 'automated maintenance'. This is not good since it might look that no one besides me really cares, but let's answer they request and do not spam with already submitted topics.

Please find me on slack.  I dont see a ticket.

Dear all

I have made a transfer from bittrex to cryptopia yeserday. They are listed on cryptopia but as uncofirmed and the block does not yet regonise the adress. What can i do? Any insight to what have happended. Its the first time i have trasfered 8 bit
Same question?

Your coins are safe, though Bittrex has disabled his wallet due to 'automated maintenance'. Basically there was one big block on which lagged some nodes, while others orphaned it and moved on.
I have nodes on both versions, but I shut down all my nodes till Bittrex will reply to my ticket or re-enable their wallet.
What I also recommend to all of you is postponing transactions and disabling your wallets till we clarify this situation. However, nothing bad should happen if you will not follow my advice.

All to make Bittrex happy but they don't respond, so just be patient.

so thats what hapopened to me max orphans recieved. glad it wasnt just me then. there is hope for this coin atlast

Unfortunately I am not getting a reply from Bittrex, neither related to delisting nor to maintenance.

Regarding block height: just postpone your transactions no matter on what height you are.

Yes

what is the daily gain when running a masternode?

My wallet still stuck on 2weeks it been syncing for 5 days now i don't get help from noone is that coin a dead with no developer?
what is the slack invite link?

To get instant sync, download parsed blockchain from www.8-bit.ga. A fresh snapshot is available there: 1273308702 bytes, md5 8c0079cfe97e37199974882e6a22d40f.

To make sure you will stay on the right chain, use "connect" instead of "addnode" during first days after sync (or leave it as is till blockchain will start).

That awkward moment when an exchange dumps on you... I guess I will hold my 8bits 4 life  Cool

Welcome on board then Smiley
I am convinced that this project will not die after delisting. However it will make non-crypto adoption much harder

Also, I really hope that Bittrex will accept declaration I have made as I have already prepared to take the time on July to fulfill it.

Excuse me, discussed on Slack? On which one?
This gonna be quite interesting - what about counting your finger first? You will enjoy it my friend.

To others: still no info from Bittrex, however, they warn that their support is overloaded with requests so it's rather expected that we will not get reply instantly.

Hello, finally we have contacted Bittrex to find out why they want to delist 8BIT.

To keep this process transparent: they have been proposed to see a brand new release till 31 Jul including marketing / PR actions already discussed on our slack. I will publish here an update ASAP.

Okay. thanks for the address list Drays.

So here is what i'll do to help out.   i'll load a node and do the following:
> no wallet.dat
> added your unique ip's to my 8bit.conf file.  seen here (with "connect" only):
 connect=91.121.79.208
 connect=45.32.207.94
 connect=144.76.115.195
 connect=194.60.247.77
 connect=118.102.74.85
 connect=188.244.136.3
 connect=92.54.74.91
 connect=188.244.136.3
 connect=94.226.187.230
 connect=94.225.84.218
 connect=188.244.136
 connect=92.222.68.70
 connect=217.182.173.89
 connect=217.96.23.2
 connect=184.89.70.195
> then i'll download and use the Blocks.TGZ file on the website. and import the blocks with the BLK001.dat file (converting it bootstrap.dat)

So if your on the same chain as the Blocks.tgz file that is posted on the website, i'll sync up in a couple of days - without issues. however if you are on different chains then i'll get orphans at some point in the near future.

at this end of this excercise, i'll beable to see how fractured this network is. I'll report back.

why are the blocks downloading so slow (2 weeks behind) when i have 5 active nodes? :/

---
edit:
nvm, i just messed up the wallet installation, now it seems to be downloading fine Smiley

update: getting orphans at 751 and it's stuck

I have 28 connections and seem to be on the right chain for the last few weeks. Try to add more nodes:
