Yes there is a slack channel, but you have to wait for 8-bit-party to invite you as he haven't set an invite bot yet.

By the way, i hope that this activity isn't due to recent rise in the price of 8-bit.

It is still 112 coins per MN currently, but as 8-bit-Party noted, some (many) stakers do not pay to masternodes currently. Some do, however, so I guess you would get some coins from MN, but not as much as it should be.

Yes, original dev is gone, but the project was taken over long time ago.

I would advise to better do that in Linux. Sure you can run them in Windows, but the windows wallet is extremely resource hungry (on my experience it needs really high-end machine to run properly; also see the comment from pterodactyl above ), so I personally stopped using that and moved everything into Linux. Maybe you can use Vmware, or better, run a VPS with Ubuntu. This is just my personal advise though.

Don't be so touchy . You are welcome here, and what the dev has pointed, is not directed to you personally, but is mostly general statement. I know reading through all the pages is not an option, so if there is something you would like to know, just ask. I am here from the very beginning, and I have been through all those 250+ pages of often painful history of 8BIT. There are indeed some great discussions there, along with lots of meaningless personal wars too...

Another thread is being pointlessly bumped by someone from underground thread-bumping club. Why are these dumbs bumping old like earth and cold like death threads? Is someone getting paid for hyping nodeless blockchainless coins? A thorough examination of the recent activities of all forums members should be carried out by an unbiased dude like me.

I tried running a masternode on this coin but it was making my Windows pc freeze. The wallet needs serious work.

Pure fresh bootstrap.dat will be published on Wednesday. Keep it mind that masternode payments are not enforced so greedy miners do not have to respect them. They will not proceed this way forever though.

I just took a position in 8Bit, due to the masternode component and devs plans to revamp. With PIVX and other masternode coins, 8bit immediately popped out, there seems to be great marketing potential. Supply is insanely low.


I did not see deception in his comments, but confidence. Devs really should not be playing or assuring the market. Right now people are creeping in, as the sell side is about 10-20 % thinner than it was even yesterday.

well,  first let me say sorry that I have not read through all 200 and some odd pages of this bs old thread, (I have actually pointed other people to things such as wallet and blockchain bootstrap days ago on slack), perhaps when I get through the thousands of pages of other ANNs of coins I want to know about I'll get to reading ALL of this one. I guess expecting people to explain their product is to much. Yaknow, people have very important meetings to explain everything to investors/partners (since you seem to only think investing means just money I guess I'll throw partners in there to make you feel safer)
I'm looking for an investment that is actually going to be worth spending my time and money helping. However, it seems you know what you are looking for and I obviously am just an annoyance.


I think you need more than just smart money. a dictionary might help. then you might understand the full meaning of investing. I don't know if you are as welcoming as you think. When support comes asking about your product to gauge if it is worth supporting or if it is just some d-bag that wants to take your work and money and run(which one of the best way to help gauge is to go in guns blazing asking questions), you usually don't tell them to f off cause you're not "smart money". Good luck. with your shit, better than thou demeanor you'll need it.

When will the new ANN and roadmap be finalized?

$200m marketcap right now  can't wait to compare after logo change, marketing, new Ann, more community , masternodes etc
