Maybe you are right about this years airdrops but in 2017 lots people earned lots of money from these type of airdrops. I earned at least 1000 usd which is a good amount comparing the things you do.
in 2018 in my opinion, it was the worst year for a bounty hunter because 90% of the bounties or airdrop scams were, and in my opinion it was very reasonable and for that we had to be careful in determining bounty or airdrop
Everybody must be careful before participating in bounties and airdrops and promotional campaigns because so many of the projects are scammers, simple.
I don't have much experience about airdrops. I have followed airdrops but there are no results at all, just a waste of time. My advice if you want to follow the airdrops, don't just choose airdrops, carefully in detail, if you want to profit from airdrops.
I also have had a bad experience while following an Airdrop campaign. because many only give tokens that do not have a price when entering the market list. from that experience I've been away from the airdrop and maybe the reason for many people is like me

Yes. I think you're right, not to even mention last year which is 2017 early this year most airdrops pay the participants just like i earn my first money in crypto through airdrop and it worth $200+ and a lot more in my wallet for about 200> coins are in there, what most of them need now is just telegram followers to participate in some bounties who accept telegram campaign and most also want to own a airdrop group so they can benefit from referral bonus.
The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

This is something most people are still not wary off. Don't perform every airdrop you see. The chances of you getting paid are very slim. Also, the companies no longer give good rewards for the airdroppers. What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
I agree with such a statement to the address of many airdrops, I think that in most cases today it may even concern many bounty projects that are held today by bounty, because in the end developers do not pay anything.
I doubt the figure is as high as "99% of airdrops are scam" but so many reports of scam and fraud are associated with airdrops sadly
I do not agree. There are many worthy and fictitious projects. just you probably had no luck and chose the wrong projects. but remember that no one is safe from scam
Much has been said in this topic. But I still express my opinion. I have been in the subject of cryptocurrency for almost a year now, but this is not much. But during this time I participated in about 30 airdrops. About 10 percent turned out to be quite good projects, all the rest went to the bottom or were scam.
although most of the airdrops are scam but not all. you needed correct knowledge about it. before joining airdrops campaign you should check , it's website and about project. it's payment depends it's success. I join the some campaign and I got some token.
Not all airdrop are scam theyre still legit one that you need certain research in order to find it and get those good airdrop but keep in mind there are still scammed airdrop so you might need to careful
Yeah not all airdrop but its true there's so many Scam for an Airdrop right now.And I already noticed that one that's why I will never joined anymore and I focused only for Bounty Program. No, this is only 2018 current condition. If I compare with last year (2017) there are many legit airdrops. Like BLUE, ELTCOIN, EREAL, BITWHITE, REBL, and many more. So, I can say 2018 is the worst time for airdrop. I think the last Airdrop which gives good token was POLYMATH.
I really agree with your opinion, for the year is very different from 2017, now (2018) the existing airdrop is not like 2017 which has a high selling value, for 2018 almost all airdrop are not worth any mostly into junk coins.
It is a lie but it could have such index in the worse situation. I think that it will be so soon if this problem with scam will not be solved in the nearest future.
the title made me chuckle, presentation from me is 80% coin Airdrop is a scam the rest is not, until now I still follow the Airdrop program and if it can be calculated about only 17 Airdrop coins that I got which have a good price, don't worry too much about Airdrop to just gamble it doesn't matter to me..
Sixty Percent of the coin I have in my old wallet are from airdrop when I am also participating in airdrop. Most of the coin can not be trade. Airdrop is totally waste of time
First of all I would say that not 99% of them are, sometimes the project can pay a little amount of money, not the amount that you have anticipated, sometimes they would not get the cap, sometimes just the price is small.
99% is not a number that would be considered accurate. There is no actual source for that information and most Airdrops pay out coins but only in small quantities.
To be honest, I'm tired of listening every day that airdrops do not pay anything and in General they deceive people. You read the user agreement?
Yes, actually in my first months in the crypto world I only join different airdrops and the majority of them did not pay me but some of those still pay me decent amount of money, and some of them are just phishing airdrops who scam me many times asking for my private key and i did not know that it is used in opening my wallet, but there are selfdrops that are truly profitable and gives you free money the send 0 eth airdrops are good
