ICO is evil

First of all I would say that not 99% of them are, sometimes the project can pay a little amount of money, not the amount that you have anticipated, sometimes they would not get the cap, sometimes just the price is small.

I think It is true that most of these airdrops are a scam. As I have participated a lot of them over the past few months, but only one or two of them have rewarded coins.

Scam really?
Sure most of them are completely useless. But it's not like you're paying anything to enter airdrop. Only time is lost.
Take time but get very little, I do not care about airdrop. They are not suitable for me, I expect a job that can earn a higher income.

Yes,
but if something is promised and not held it is scam even if you have only lost time.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

I hate to create a stigma on airdrop, but most of them are not really a scam but majority of them fail, that is why their coins/tokens will end up not having a value. I have a lot of shitcoins in my wallet, that I think is a proof on how bad airdrops are. Among the few airdrop tokens I receive, I only have one who has a value of more than $10 USD. The others are just to low to even sell it on the major exchange.

A bold statement of course, but what do you lose with participation in the airdrop? You can even use your data when registering

So far I have not been scammed in airdrops, maybe because I just joined very recently.
Or maybe because I only participate in airdrops when it's managed by dev team whom gained my trust.
I believe in the latter reason.

Certainly not all airdrop are scams..some airdrop are legit 99% is too far to go with, I would say 60% of the recent ones are scam..

If 99% scam I disagree with your opinion, because some are even very profitable, like EBTC and others. But my concern is the airdrop today most of them are scam, but not 99% maybe 70%

I’m currently part of the Pricvy airdrop and I’ve already received the coins from the first drop and I also received coins from the deep onion airdrop so I don’t think they’re all scams, the ones that are trying to solve a real problem and have good tech will be legit, the rubbish coins will be the scams

I have never felt cheated by airdrop, but I think the proper title is "all airdrop is not priced in the market." All tokens I get from airdrop have absolutely no price compared to the tokens I get on bounty, so my advice is better you follow bounty course.

Same thing, I just trust my gut feeling, and don't run for the ones promising just too much. I guess common sense in assessing helps a lot. And so far no disappointments.

I do not think all airdrops are scams. There are many good airdrop that bring great value like hydrogen. A lot of other airdrop but it takes a long time to receive. You also find airdrop from reputable sources to join.

But I would not say that 99%, but at this time a lot. I would say that this is about 80%. Well, what do you want, it's a free distribution of coins. As they say cheese is only in a mousetrap

Now in order to get some profit from airdrop companies, you need to participate in all airdrop. Just sit every day and register in every project. It takes too much time. If I was a rookie then I'd be doing this, I guess.
