After his temper became calm, he ended up regretting to had lost his bet and went such a mile of destroying his TV.

He now makes two different lost counts at the caused of his inability to control his gambling emotions and his over confidence to had staked what he can't afford to loosed.

Betting on low payout games is a good way to make a small but consistent return, the only problem is that once in a while these games going the other way and we are losing our money. It's important to keep remembering low risk doesn't mean no risk, things can always move against us. Which is why I would never bet all my money on one game alone. Better to spread out our money and use multiple of these low risk bets. Now using money that we can't afford to lose for gambling makes everything worse. On top of that breaking your own properties for no reason is very bad behavior. What good does it do to break your own TV? If you are frustrated and want to power yourself out to some sports or go for a walk.

Here in my hood, someone staked $1,000 to a bet with little odds and to all hope that there was no possibilities of him loosing the game but revise be the case that the game got cut off in just 3 minutes for the game over and then he could had cashed his winning.
It is quite unfortunate that he staked above what he could not afford to loose. So out of frustrations and anger he broke his TV on the process.

Often gamblers are very sure they will definitely win because they bet on small odds when in fact it is much more dangerous. Why? because with small odds to get big profits, gamblers dare to risk big money, even more than what they can afford to lose, like your story.
For example, a few days ago, of course, everyone would really support Manchester City and dare to bet quite a lot of money at odds around @1.33, but seeing the results actually made many people lose money.
And what's even more stupid is that when we bet more than we can afford to lose, it will make us lose control and do stupid things when we lose.
Luckily, he only broke his TV because there could be people who do more stupid things by borrowing money and betting more than they can afford to recover the loss.

Story time. Because i heard a similar story from a friend of mine from finland in 2003.

Finland played against sweden in ice hockey and were winning 5-1 before the half time. I was so sure that they would and didn't even follow the game. After a while i started hearing swearing and shouting from neighbourg, i thought they were fighting or something.

Next morning my roommate told me that sweden has won 6-5 against finland, and he told about his friend who fixes windows were called on a job. From the parking lot he saw the broken tv in the road next to building and broken window above it. He went to fix the window, and for some sort of Finnish solidary, they agreed for insurance purposes, that this indeed was an "accident" and left out the part of thrown tv. I guess everyone were feeling like little hangover and wanted to support each other that day.

This is what we can see happen when you gamble with too many emotions that's what you have to go through because you will not be stable with your mind and you may not be rational enough with your taughts as you will be thinking that it's just you getting angry.

Most gamblers who act like this actually have got some emotional instability and are battling anger and so when it happens they are suffering losses they get More angry and tend to do crazy things as this which usually cost them even more because they will later regret for doing such as they are not in their best states of mind when they took such action, I don't know if it will be really right to say people who struggle with anger should avoid gambling.

Without Mincing words, I will say that gambler is an amateur gambler. He has not been taught neither has he learnt that gambling has no sure bets. No matter your speculation accuracy, it is still a speculation, I mean, things can go south.

The reason why we encourage people to consider gambling as fun, in some cases, so it does not get to you neither do you have to take it to heart if it doesn't turn out your way.

He should have to work on his betting habit and also his emotions because until he learns how to disconnect from being emotional on gambling, he might even destroy his car or house next.

I've seen so many videos of people destroying their expensive TV if their team loses. I don't know if that was just passion or if they had money in that too. At least that guy is still better than those who rage after losing a match on a video game with no betting involved hehe.

I'm very sure he will regret his actions because he lost a bet that was beyond his expectations, and it doesn't matter if he regrets it, it will be a valuable experience for him and not repeat it in the future, before he runs out of everything, that's It is important not to be greedy and to be a responsible gambler
Indeed, and the statement made by the OP tells us that gambling may be addicting and that, if we don't manage our money wisely, it can result in large losses.  Similar to how spending more than we can afford to lose and losing more of it can have really negative effects on our life. And as a result of our feelings of annoyance and rage, we frequently destroy things, which we later really regret. Because of this, it's important to set boundaries and exercise sound judgment so that our feelings don't control us.

Poor emotional control can lead someone to bad things too. And strangely, when some people continue to gamble and hope to get lucky so they can get a little profit from the gambling they do so they can buy the latest television, these people actually behave in the opposite way, namely destroying their television after losing. gambling which of course will only increase the losses they experience. . Maybe when someone breaks the television, the individual will feel a little relieved, because their emotions and disappointment can be vented. but when he starts to feel a little calmer, it's true what you said, maybe he will reflect and regret his actions. However, regret alone is not enough, because regret will never return everything that has been lost. And to prevent this from happening a second time, the individual really has to take proactive steps, so that he will be truly aware of this. including the responsibilities they have. By taking proactive steps, this can help a person gain control over himself.

That's terrible. That's why the odds are there for, the chances are there and it doesn't assure you to win 100% with those bets that we make. There are underdogs and crowd favorites if it's a sporting event and that's why there's a need to remember that we shouldn't gamble as if we're a sure win to these bets that we make because we'll never know if that match could change in the last minute of the game or rounds and that will bring you whole twist that you'll never or ever like.

We must gamble only with what we can afford to lose and that's what we have to remember. Many are forgetting that and try to play the victim but they wouldn't even lose if they don't gamble in the first place. He's got a serious anger management problems and that has to be changed and he has to seek professional help if he can't help himself. Otherwise, do not gamble with any serious amount that you can't afford to be gone.

Soon, what he is going to break? Or there might be no appliances or things that he can break anymore because likely most of them have been broken due to his gambling problem.

The gambler who was in the bad economy situation should not play the gambling whether it’s sports betting or casino games.Because the emotional play always leads to the loss, when you play the game to make money. The gambling site never help you make money, because the more you take risk will leads to more you loss. When the game was in the negative site, the most possible option will be you will loss the entire money. If you make the correct betting again and again. The game also increases to the positive side,So try to make betting in the correct betting to get the more possibilities of making money.

This month, if my memory serves me right, I saw a news story on TV that said that fans of the Nigerian national team were very angry because Nigeria lost in the final game, so some fans of the Nigerian national team destroyed their TV. because they were angry and unhappy with the defeat. I don't know if those fans of the Nigerian national team made a bet or not. but I was shocked when I saw them playing TV on the floor. Then I was wondering what they gained by doing that, because they will need the TV to watch the games while they are without a TV and even later they can buy another TV, but they will be spending money when they buy another TV, if they hadn't destroyed it. the TV, they would use the money to buy other things

so acting on emotion is a big mistake, having excessive self-confidence when placing bets is also another very serious mistake, in my opinion when placing sports bets or playing any game that involves knowledge and does not depend on luck, then the person should be very careful not to add emotions because this will only lead the person to lose all the money, now when they are games that depend on luck, then the person can play and have emotions as long as they don't exaggerate because they can start chasing losses and this is another big mistake that the person made and that led to him losing everything and becoming bankrupt and addicted

Realizing his action is not enough because there is no guarantee that such an action will not repeat itself. The cause is gambling with an amount he could not afford to lose and that is what should be controlled going further. A lot of gamblers have created harm to themselves and others and even destroyed properties because of losing in gambling but this did not stop them from gambling nor did it help them control their stake. Lack of anger management can only exacerbate the situation. This is why anger management as you have noted is crucial. When a person experiences a loss or a series of losses while gambling, it can trigger feelings of frustration, anger, and disappointment and without proper anger management skills, these emotions can lead to impulsive decisions, increased risk-taking behaviour, and further financial losses.
Acknowledging and understanding the harmful effects of gambling is an important first step, but it's often insufficient on its own to prevent future recurrence of problematic behavior. Indeed, the root cause of many gambling-related problems lies in people wagering amounts they cannot afford to lose, which underscores the importance of implementing effective controls to manage their gambling activities.

Anger management is a crucial component of the process, because heightened emotions such as frustration and disappointment can significantly impair judgment and lead to impulsive decision-making while gambling. By learning to recognize and regulate these emotions effectively, individuals can reduce the likelihood of engaging in risky behavior and experiencing further financial losses. While recognizing the consequences of one's actions is an important step, it must be accompanied by proactive measures to address the root causes of problem gambling and develop effective coping strategies for managing emotions and impulses.

Anger management is critical especially if something triggers it. Our bodies react out of sudden frustration and sometimes the results are worse. The adrenalin is too much for the person while under that status that ended up in random reckless actions.

Anyway, what I'm surprised about is, putting decent bets on low odds. It's even more risky than putting decent bets on high odds. There's no such thing as safe odds and even for others that such odds exist, can someone have the guts to put decent value for example @1.00 to @1.2 odds? It's way better to just put the money in the bank lol (crypto fan here).

Well, at least he return from being normal and realized what kind of shit he had done.

Repetition of action is something that would really be depending on several factors on which if he does see that he had broke out his TV and an expensive one and make those huge regret later on,
then for sure in next time he would really be that wary about this similar situation and with that moment then he would definitely be that avoiding on doing the same mistakes again. He might be breaking
things but for sure it would really be that on less expensive one, but if this gambler is really that somewhat knows that he's rich or money could afford to buy a new one then for sure he would definitely be doing
the same thing once he would be losing more on which this is something that wont really be shocking if this situation would be happening again. Human beings are really that emotional on which
it would really be just that right that there are moments that they would be having these kind of impulsive actions.,

One of the threads I came across today advised that gamblers do their research before going ahead to make a stake. They must understand the different terms in sports betting, when and how to use them. Because gambling is not a trend especially among the younger generations, they just follow the crowd. They do not care to know about the odds in sportbetting, they simply do as their friends are doing. They higher the bets the more slowly and meticulously the bet should be analyzed. In the end, your loss is the gain of the sports bookie or some random person.

He now makes two different lost counts at the caused of his inability to control his gambling emotions and his over confidence to had staked what he can't afford to loosed.
Actually, the person in the story. has some temperamental issues and instead of going outside to burn of steam, he decides to break stuff. A clear indication, his emotions are in control of his action.

in the first place, if you are into sportsbetting, it means, you know the sports very well. if you are just searching and reading what's going on and doesn't have enough knowledge on the particular sports, then, don't expect that your bets go well, right?

some long-time sportsbettors are successful because they gained a ton of knowledge throughout the years and they are more familiar now with the sports. so it is not too difficult for them to place bets.

I wonder what conclusion we should draw from this story? Maybe buy a durable (in the sense of shock-proof) TV?  Grin
It is obvious that he regrets what happened. The most important thing is that he draw the right conclusions and no longer make such naive bets. It seems to me that even without knowing mathematics, but just having common sense, you can guess that if someone gives you a little money at a time (betting on low odds with a profit of a few percent), then their ultimate goal is to take from you a lot (the whole bet).

he suffers the risk of loss, he doesn't think about what his strategy is, what will he do if he wins, and if he loses he is willing to accept the risk, he doesn't consider it well, he only thinks about winning without knowing what the risk is if he loses, if he thinking carefully he would not bet more than he could afford to lose, and now he regrets it. Hopefully with incidents like this we can think more calmly about the risks of gambling

Why will you gamble with that amount of money when you know if you lose it, it’s going to affect you? I don’t just know the way some people think, we know the risk involved in gambling. Why won’t you take the risk that you know if things go wrong, it’s not really going to affect you? The person just wasted $1,000 and still has another TV to purchase. I just think it’s high time people start controlling themselves when gambling. Don’t think you can get rich from gambling, just gamble for fun and do it with the amount you know you can afford to lose. Don’t gamble with the amount, which might end up affecting your mental wellbeing after losing.
If your stakes will affect you when you lose it means you just risked what you can not afford to lose, with OP storyline it would be better when the gambler didn't risk what he could afford to lose and not to risk what he can not afford to lose.
As you gamble you should also be smart to know when to stop and when to countie betting, even when you stop earlier you should ready to lose what you have to lose, like risk what you can afford to lose.
