Maybe having a new altcoins like facebook or the dencoin tokens will never become a new rivalry for the bitcoins. Because every altcoins have their own way of having and dealing of the bounty hunters Because if it happens so, its always the trader will basically have to deal whether what he was going to choose a good altcoins for  joining to gain profit for hes new investment in the future.

Rival? This will be no where near bitcoin. It is just another government controlled stable coin used to deliver utilities to WhatsApp and Facebook users who might want to share exchangeable values via the platform

bitcoin will not have rivals. some altcoins may have fast growth such as BNBs and some other altcoins. but I don't think that's enough to make an alternative as a rival to bitcoin.

it has nothing to do with bitcoin it will surely be a centralized altcoin maybe I would say more similar to ripple, it will never worry bitcoin...
That's obviously, people are using bitcoin for one exact reason, DECENTRALIZED and the fact that no company or government owns it. there's no way coin that's created by facebook, a big company will pick bitcoin users' interest, well maybe there's some people but using coin issued by facebook is as bad as using paypal, that's only my guess though.

If this is going to happened it will be really hard for the FB coin to enter cryptocurrency because this is a very fast rising market and FB coin is just a centralized stable coin which we don’t know if they can handle crypto market. I think that this advertisement is just used to make money like to make their company popular. I’m sure that they will not enter cryptocurrency but right now they are earning ton of billions. But if they do they will be just like those altcoins who tried but failed miserably but I don’t know that really I guess we just have to wait and watch.

I doubt if this will be a rival worth the attention, this is just another altcoin joining many others in line. Think about it , we have over a thousand of altcoins that have tried and failed to kick btc off it's throne or keep bitcoin in the shadows, what makes this any different despite riding on the success of  "facebook"?

Honestly there are so many unanswered questions surrounding this,
  • how many facebook members are ready to use cryptos?
  • does facebook understand crypto because they are new to this ecosystem
  • how is the coin going to benefit them or it's users
As a matter of fact the coming of "globalcoin" will give bitcoin a platform to be come more popular and powerful coin!

This FB coin will be nothing more than a centralized stablecoin. No matter what Zukerberg says about it.
Facebook have a long history of selling their users private data. Even when they implemented end-to-end encryption in WatsApp they are still keep saving backups of conversation on centralized cloud. FB usually bans everyone who does not support their liberal left ideology.
After that I would say that there is no connection between FB and true crypto market. Or maybe only a name.

Yes, the Facebook stablecoin is everything the industry has worked to fight against: it is centralized, requires the loss of privacy to use, and is reportedly going to be made up of a basket of fiat currencies with the blessing of central bankers. Nonetheless, it may help to bring more interest to virtual currencies.

Considering the vast coverage of facebook and its influence in the social media, most likely the coin that facebook will introduce will surely make an impact on the cryptocurrency world. But, challenging bitcoin and other top altcoins is hard to tell especially that it hasn't been launched. Let's see when that time comes.
if facebook finally create their own coins in market it will give big impact to its self and cryptocurrency market.facebook coin in my opinion will high value if it used in facebook ecosystem.maybe it could used to pay ads or others.in other side it will bring good confidence to us since large company participate developing cryptocurrency.

I do not know if it would be centralized but it would be an extra addition to the crypto space and I believe it will spread the word faster than the existing process. Facebook coin would gain big value in future if it is introduced in the market because like BNB-backed by Binance, Facebook coin will be backed by Facebook and might have good demand.
all still depend on what Facebook coins will be used for. there is a possibility that there will be some additional features for people who work on Facebook like game players who broadcast live on Facebook. because they might get money from Facebook coins and advertisements.

This is totally flop as FB is not any trading platform already FB is guilty for selling the users data, and now they will l play it through blockchain.

What do you mean? Bitcoin doesn't have any rival! That's for sure! I would bet only on btc and altcoins aren't for me. That is my approach and bitcoin for me is above all

Honestly I just heard this news and it looks like the name is bigger because it uses the global word "world",
Not only because of its name but also because of its origin which is facebook  . the coin is litterally big .

I haven't read the concept even the system at all but in my opinion this will indeed be a strong rival for Bitcoin.
Same here , i dont also read the info about this upcoming coin from fb but i can sense that this is the next big thing and it maybe a big threat to btc  .

People have known Bitcoin for a long time and have collaborated with many large companies even though they have not yet been approved, we are just waiting for who is better.
For those people who knew bitcoin along time ago , they are the ones that will stick to bitcoin but those who are new in the crypto scene , they are the ones that are confuse and will pick alot of coins including this fb coin  .

this good news certainly brings fresh air to crypto, the existence of fb coin shows the development of crypto which began to be looked at by many companies, but I am not sure that fb coin will be a rival of bitcoin, in my opinion fb coins will only be potential and strong coins in the market but still can't compete with bitcoin

Nice write up but I don't agree with the topic. Facebook coin sounds great since it will pull in more crowd into the crypto ecosystem, and also drive towards adoption of crypto. But referring to it or probably asking a question if it's a bitcoin rival is far fetched. Definitely a great one but never going to be a Bitcoin rival. Moreover, rumours have it that it will be a stable coin.
