I guess I picked the wrong day to play your first pick.  In any case I'll try again today.  Last night's line really looked like a "trap" to me, and I guess I was right.

Ok, so here we stand on the cusp of potentially making personal (negative) history...we lost again tonight...and for those of you counting at home that's 2 in a row...and we have NEVER lost 3 in a row.

How we lost tonight's game is a whole other story...but you can't take it personal...you just move on and treat the loss as the cost of doing business.

Ok, let's indulge ourselves and take it personally for a second and talk about tonight's game.  Our line was NBA Toronto (-3.5) @ Boston for a potential payout of 1.909.  Ok so Boston had lost 9 games in a row, had just completed a desperation trade and was facing a much improved Raptors team winners of their last 3 games (all at home) in a row.  So what went wrong?  Horrible shooting.  Toronto went 12-25 for 48% from the free throw line!  How does an NBA team that employs professional athletes to contest its games shoot 48% from the charity stripe!

Ok, we're done venting...just know that we are working overtime as we speak on tomorrow's pick to turn this mini losing streak around.

Good luck to us all for tomorrow!

Well, I e-mailed you for the free pick.  I am certainly interested since you haven't lost 3 in a row.  And I do like your advice of treating it like a business.  So good luck to you.

Great questions!

If the Pick of the Day is not successful, every paid subscriber receives the next day's pick for free...no exceptions, no questions asked.  However, if that subsequent pick is also unsuccessful, anyone wanting the following day's pick would subscribe and pay for it via email in the usual manner.  It has happened that we have lost 2 in a row...not often...but it does happen.  However, our longest win streak is 13 consecutive days in a row and we have NEVER, EVER lost 3 in a row...so far over 2 years and counting.  That being said, you should approach your wagering as you would any other business venture with longer term achievable, measurable and sustainable goals.

Regarding the timing of the receipt of the email containing the Pick of the Day, some of the responsibility lies with you.  If you want to subscribe for the Pick of the Day, please do so at your earliest possible convenience.  For example, our most frequent subscribers subscribe for the Pick of the Day the previous evening after the completion of that evening's games.  They have developed a business model, either with or without our assistance, and they act accordingly without ever deviating from their plan.  However, some of our more infrequent subscribers, although we love them to death, are a little more fickle.  They skip days, they try to catch us on a hot streak or coming off of a mediocre streak and ride the wave.  These subscribers request the Pick of the Day as late as they can and unfortunately we often have to turn them away until the following day as today's window of opportunity has passed.  Anyway, assuming that you are reasonably timely with your request and payment, you can expect to have a minimum of 4 to 6 hours to place your wager before game time on every single weekday Monday through Friday.  Obviously, weekends are a bit trickier because of all of the earlier games.  That being said, we will only send out the Pick of the Day to paid subscribers on Saturday and Sunday if there are at least 2 hours remaining before the league's officially posted starting time for the game.  Long story short, a minimum 2 hour window to place your bet is generally workable for just about anyone barring unforeseen occurrences on the subscriber's part.

Lastly, we are always happy to review our full 2 year record with you via email but remember that our winning percentage is something that we can boast about but something that is ultimately absolutely of little or no value to you.  You should only be interested in net units won and net return on investment...both of which should be very positive given the right money management plan.

Again, thank you for your interest and for stimulating discussion within this forum and we wish you the very best of luck with all of your sports wagers.

Ok so it's .005 BTC per day.  Following up to your above post, is it ALWAYS a free next pick of the day if the day before lost?

also, approximately what time does the pick get e-mailed?  I just ask to see about how much time there is before the email and the game starting, to know if I'd have enough time to place the bet.  I am obviously debating starting this, and I like the idea behind just your best pick being e-mailed.    I'll go back and check your record in this post.

thanks

Hi.

The 0.001 BTC price was a promotion that we had throughout the entire month of December.  The regular daily price has always been 0.005 BTC or $5 via Paypal which we don't really encourage due to the fees incurred.  We never promoted ourselves on any forum or website before so we thought that we would offer some sort of special during the month of December.

We have been around for about 2 years and we have a relatively small but loyal subscription base that has grown by word of mouth only.  But we are brutally honest and we try to give every subscriber 100% satisfaction.  Our picks will not always be correct, but if you stick with us and stick to your money management plan you will make good money and you might even have a bit of fun along the way.

By the way, we lost tonight by the narrowest of margins as our Pick of the Day was NCAAB Oklahoma (+5.5) @ Kansas State for a potential payout of 1.892.  Oklahoma was in it right to the very end only to lose by 6 points 72-66.  We actually had this one as a likely win by Oklahoma so we are very choked with the result.  Small consolation, but today's subscribers will receive tomorrow's Pick of the Day free of charge.

As for our track record, check the previous posts to get all of our recent results dating back to December.  To subscribe, to get more information, or to get more detailed information regarding our overall track record just email us at [email protected].  We will answer every one of your questions until you are satisfied that you have enough information to make an informed decision one way or the other.

Thanks for your question.  An open and honest interactive forum is what we are hoping to provide.

How much are the picks?  And you have to pay per day?

Edit I just checked the first page. So we send the .001, then email you and you immediately give us the pick?  Can you offer a more long term record or just the past 6 days?

Edit this past post says .05 but first page says .001 what's the story?

Here are the results of our Pick of the Day over the past 6 days:

NCAAB Utah (+2.5) @ Washington WIN 1.900 Units
NCAAB Arizona (-1) @ UCLA WIN 1.869 Units
NCAAB Wright State @ Valparaiso (-3.5) LOSS 1.000 Units
NCAAB California (-1) @ Oregon State WIN 1.869 Units
NCAAB Arizona (-12) @ USC WIN 1.763 Units
NCAAB Syracuse (-7.5) @ Boston College WIN 1.746 Units

5 Wins and 1 loss (83% win ratio...but this is meaningless...don't get fooled by winning percentages...the very best cappers in the world have only a 53-60 % win ratio.  But are they still making you money? hat is the ONLY statistic that matters.)

Did we make our subscribers money over the past 6 days?

Units Wagered = 6
Units Returned = 9.147
Net Units = +3.147
Net Return on Investment = 52.45% (That's cold hard cash...real money and the only thing that matters!!!)

This return is based on fixed unit betting only, which means our subscribers probably made much more than what we calculated above, because we don't use fixed unit betting nor do we ever advise our subscribers to do so.

Bottom line = If you are at all serious about getting ahead in the sports betting business, you MUST pay for the services of a professional HANDICAPPER.  Your handicapper is your broker or your investment advisor.  He or she works hard to make you money and this is why they are able to charge you a reasonable fee for their services.

Because handicappers are not regulated for obvious reasons, who are you going to choose?  Tough question to answer.  There are outright scams, poor results, costs, timeliness of information received, the manner in which selections are made, and so many other factors to consider.  But at the end of the day, you MUST choose someone...anyone to provide you with the information that you yourself cannot possibly assemble for yourself consistently on a daily basis.

What do we offer?  We offer a single Pick of the Day via a daily subscription service for a modest fee of 0.05 BTC per day.  What do you get?  When you subscribe for the Pick of the Day via email, you get a return email giving you your unique Bitcoin address to which you deposit our 0.05 BTC fee.  Once you remit your payment, you receive an email confirming your payment and alerting you that you can expect to receive your Pick of the Day via email sometime thereafter.  Depending upon when your payment is received, you can expect to receive your Pick of the Day email at least 2 hours before game time.  If we cannot provide you with a 2 hour window because you have subscribed to the Pick of the Day too late, we will let you know and we will give you the option of cancelling your subscription for today's Pick of the Day and we will immediately refund you your 0.05 BTC payment or we will give you the option of receiving the next day's Pick of the Day completely at your discretion.  Lastly, the Pick of the Day email will clearly identify the applicable league, the home and away teams playing, the team to select, the betting line to select as well as the potential payout to be received based upon the exact moment in time at which we locked in our selection.  Betting lines change right up until game time...sometimes these changes work in your favour and sometimes they work against you...keep this in mind...always.  We recommend that you place your bet as soon as you receive our Pick of the Day.

Do you receive anything else?  Be careful here, many cappers offer free picks, bonuses, etc.  Most freebies or bonuses are worth of little or no value to the professional investor.  Remember that, at all times, you are an investor with a proven and sustainable business model and that you are NOT a gambler!  Anyway, we are human and we are honest and we absolutely feel horrible when our Pick of the Day is not a winner.  Firstly, we ourselves have lost money but, more importantly, our daily subscribers have lost money as well.  Human nature is what it is...if you lose your confidence in us goes down...hopefully only slightly...but the damage is done.  Our business model has 2 revenue streams:  successful wagering for net profit returns and successful handicapping for fees received.  Both are vital to our survival and both are treated with the utmost of importance.  Anyway, getting back to the question, yes you do receive something else.  If the Pick of the Day was not a winner, you do receive the next day's Pick of the Day free of charge.  This is a very small consolation we know, but we honestly do feel bad and it's the least we can do to hopefully have the opportunity to continue to serve you in the future.

BOTTOM LINE = HIRE A PROFESSIONAL HANDICAPPER

In doing so, we would love it if you would consider hiring us for our services.  There are no long term commitments, no catches or gimmicks, just a one-time reasonable fee of 0.05 BTC for the Pick of the Day.  We are human, we are honest, and we will communicate with you via email to address all of your comments, questions, or concerns no matter how long it takes to make you 100% satisfied with your decision to hire our professional services.

Please feel free to contact us via email at [email protected] anytime!  We look forward to serving you and, as always, good luck to all!

Thank you for being one of our many subscribers who took advantage of our Pick of the Day promotion throughout the entire month of December 2013.

Beginning with the Pick of the Day for Wednesday, January 1, 2014 and beyond, our Pick of the Day can once again be purchased for the original price of 0.005 BTC.  In addition to receiving our Pick of the Day, all subscribers will also receive one (1) additional Pick of the Day free of charge for the next calendar day in the event that the purchased Pick of the Day betting line was not covered.

For example, if you purchase tomorrow's Pick of the Day and the betting line is not covered, you will automatically receive the following day's Pick of the Day betting line at no additional charge.  Please note that in all cases where the Pick of the Day betting line that was received at no additional charge is also unsuccessful and not covered, no further free of charge Pick of the Day will be provided.

Lastly, subscribers have asked us how they might be able to reduce their purchase price for the Pick of the Day.  While we are not in a position to reduce our already low price for our Pick of the Day, we are now offering an affiliate loyalty program on a trial basis.  Beginning with tomorrow's Pick of the Day, each paid subscriber who refers an additional subscriber(s) will receive 0.001 BTC each time the additional subscriber(s) purchases our Pick of the Day.

As always we appreciate your loyalty and we wish you the very best of luck!

Well, we went 3-3-0 on the day, but our Pick of the Day was an absolute dog!  We recommended the Miami Dolphins (ML) @ Buffalo Bills and up until game time the betting line kept moving in favor of Buffalo but we thought nothing of it.  Well, the sharp money figured something out or saw something that we missed because we were totally caught out on this one as the Dolphins lost 19 - 0.

Well, no place to go from here but up as we will look to bounce back tomorrow.

Good luck to all!

Today's Pick of the Day was NCAAF USC (-6.5) vs. Fresno State.  The betting line kept moving all the way up to game time as more and more money kept pouring in backing Fresno State.  In the end, the game was a huge mismatch, as we expected, and USC covered easily winning 45 - 20 making all of our subscribers winners again today!

Don't miss out on tomorrow's Pick of the Day.  Email us at [email protected] to subscribe for only 0.001 BTC all through December.

Good luck tomorrow!

Yesterday's Pick of the Day was NCAAB USC (-1 to +1.5) @ Long Beach State.  Now Long Beach State did win the game 72 - 71 which means that depending on when you placed your wager you may have won or you may have lost.  We wagered 1 unit at -1 and we wagered 1 more unit at game time at +1.5 which meant that we ended up slightly down on the day but very near breakeven.   Yesterday's line kept moving up until game time against USC because Tyler Lamb, a Junior transfer out of UCLA, became eligible to play.  What is really strange is that USC seemed totally unprepared in the first half to defend Lamb.  It just seemed like poor coaching and poor preparation.

Today's Pick of the Day was more straightforward.  We took NCAAB Portland University (-3.5) @ Bradley.  While this game is listed as a home game for Bradley, the game is actually at a neutral site as it was being played as part of the tournament in Vegas being played at the South Point.  On paper this game should have been a mismatch, but in a tournament setting, during the holidays, the betting line seemed to be set, in our opinion, much too conservatively making it our hands down selection for the Pick of the Day.  Ultimately, the game was basically one-sided as Portland rolled to a 74 - 53 win making all of our subscribers happy winners tonight.

To get in on tomorrow's action, email us at [email protected] to subscribe to our Pick of the Day.

Good luck to all!

Yesterday's Pick of the Day was just plain horrible...and shocking.  We took NCAAB Missouri State (+12.5 1st Half) @ Louisville which had a really nice potential payout of 1.952.  Unfortunately, by half time Louisville was already up by 23!

Today's Pick of the Day worked out much better.  We took NCAAB Massachusetts (-1) @ Ohio which had a potential payout of 1.877.  UMass won the game 83 - 71 for a nice cover!

Here is the word for word email that went out to our subscribers today:

Monday, December 16, 2013

NFL Baltimore Ravens (+7.5) @ Detroit Lions****

Payout 1.709

****PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LINE ON THIS GAME IS IN OUR OPINION DIFFICULT TO ACCURATELY ESTABLISH BY ODDS MAKERS DUE TO MANY FACTORS, INCLUDING LACK OF RECENT HISTORY BETWEEN THE TEAMS, BALTIMORE'S UNUSUAL FORM THIS YEAR AND DETROIT'S HISTORY IN BIG DECEMBER OR PLAYOFF LIKE GAMES.

AS SUCH, WE HAVE ALSO TAKEN THE FOLLOWING WAGERS WHICH YOU MAY WISH TO CONSIDER TAKING.

NFL Baltimore Ravens (ML) @ Detroit Lions  Payout 3.560
NFL Baltimore Ravens @ Detroit Lions OVER 48.5 Payout 1.840

Should you decide to place any of these wagers, we advise that you do so at your earliest convenience as betting lines are subject to change from now until game time.

Have fun and best of luck!
