What a crazy NFL Sunday.  The officiating in the league has to be at its lowest point historically.  We advised our subscribers to take New England Patriots (+3) @ Miami Dolphins for a potential payout of 1.793.  While this play did not work out, it's the manner in which it failed that is most disappointing.  In any event, if this game were replayed, we have no doubt that the Patriots would cover the spread 9 out of 10 times.

This seems a little strange.  If you guys actually have an edge over the odds makers, there are many ways for you guys to make some SERIOUS cash.  Charging a couple people online 1 dollar isn't one of those ways. You guys should be swimming in money if you could predict better lines than the bookies, and this venture wouldn't be worth your time at all.

Well, we find ourselves in the same predicament as many sports betters often find themselves...praying for a great NFL Sunday to salvage their week.  We suffered our third loss of the week today as NCAAB Belmont (-2.5) @ South Dakota State did not pay out in the end.  The betting line and the underlying stats were very favorable but in the end the game really wasn't even that close.  This result was, to say the least, unexpected and has us re-checking our assumptions and our final analysis.

There's no place for emotion in this business, our hard work, dedication, and perseverance will see us, and our subscribers, through the toughest of times.

Good luck tomorrow everyone!

Fantastic to be back in the winner's column again after 2 straight losses as the Rockets and Warriors covered the OVER easily.  Our line was 209 with a payout of 1.806, while both teams combined for 228 points making all of our subscribers easy winners tonight!

Congratulations to all and let's keep it going over the weekend!

Back to back losses for the first time in ages.  Obviously, we lose from time to time, but only in extreme cases have we lost on back to back nights.  It just digs you into a little bit of a hole that takes patience and perseverance to climb out from in order to get back on track.

For the record, our Pick of the Night was NBA Los Angeles Clippers (ML) @ Brooklyn Nets with a potential payout of 1.840.  The Clippers looked good early and late but they just mailed it in, in what can only be described as awful 2nd and 3rd quarters.

We will look to get back on track for tomorrow and keep our subscribers comfortably still in the black for the month of December.

Please feel free to email us with your questions, comments or requests at [email protected], we are always happy to help in any way that we can.

Best of luck to everyone as always.

Tough night for our subscribers.  Tonight's Pick of the Day was NCAAB Canisius @ Buffalo (-2) for a potential payout of 1.847.  Buffalo dominated the first half and went in to the break leading by 9.  However, a total collapse in the second half by Buffalo saw Canisius win the game 69 - 55 going away.  What made the night even worse is that we went out of our way to select this obscure game which we researched extensively only to see all of the favorites in just about every other game cover with ease.  That's what makes this business so fascinating.  Despite all the stats and research available, the games still have to be played by real individuals whose performances cannot be guaranteed.

Anyway, we haven't done this in a while, but it's the Christmas season, so all of the Subscribers who took it on the chin tonight qualify for tomorrow's Pick of the Day absolutely free of charge.  Just email us at [email protected] with your request to receive the pick.  And while were at it, what with the goodwill towards men (and women) and all, we'll provide anyone else who emails us with tomorrow's Pick of the Day absolutely free of charge as well.  Let's hope that it's a good one!

Please feel free to take advantage of our generosity and as always best of luck to all.

Oh look, you're posting all your plays AFTER the games have concluded or began. No one has paid for your picks and you simply are waiting til after the games are over to post your "winning" plays. What a joke.

There is simply too much live in game betting available to post our Pick of the Day publicly before at least the half way point of any game.  To do otherwise would undermine our business model and prejudice our actual paying subscribers.

But thank you for your insightful comment and best of luck with whatever it is that you do.

Tonight's Pick of the Day was NFL Dallas @ Chicago (-2.5) with a nice payout of 1.952.  We could have locked in this pick late last night at Chicago (+2.5) with a potential payout of 1.750.  That was a decent line but we weren't ready to call it just yet.  We wanted to wait until it was absolutely confirmed with 100% certainty that Jay Cutler would not play in the game.  That's right, there's no way we take this game with Cutler starting.  Josh McCown is head and shoulders the better QB at this point and time for the current Bears offense.

If you're struggling with your picks, either over analyzing or not sure what to analyze, we have a one-time offer for you.  It's no secret that we are trying to build a Twitter following, but our Followers are basically non-existent.  If you follow us on Twitter at @abitbetter247 before tomorrow's Pick of the Day is released to our Subscribers, you will get tomorrow's Pick of the Day free of charge.  Simply follow us on Twitter, contact us via email at [email protected] confirming your Twitter ID, and we will email you our Pick of the Day tomorrow as soon as it becomes available.  If you end up liking it, it would be great if you continued to follow us on Twitter and even subscribe to our picks from time to time.  However, if you're not impressed or it just isn't for you, feel free to move on, no questions asked.

Looking forward to a great Pick of the Day again tomorrow!

Congratulations to all of our subscribers! Today's Pick of the Day was NFL Seattle (+3) @ San Francisco.  That was a great run by Kaepernick on 3rd and 7 with 3 minutes to go which allowed the niners to run the clock down, kick the winning field goal and deny Seattle the opportunity to do the same.

As expected, despite the above, we covered the spread and made all of our subscribers WINNERS again today!

Today's Pick of the Day win was particularly satisfying as it's always nice to see all the dumb money trip all over itself to place a losing bet and flush yet another Sunday down the toilet.

Who are we? We're not gamblers...we leave that to the "professionals". But we do know a thing or two about sports and betting lines.

We make our fair share of mistakes too, don't get us wrong, but we also try to help our subscribers get abitbetter247 with their wagering each and every day.

Overall, we went 3 for 3 today.

If you haven't tried out our service yet, give us a shot.  Send an email to [email protected] requesting to subscribe to our Pick of the Day and we'll guide you through the easy process.

The Pick of the Day is only 0.001 BTC all through December.

As always, best of luck to everyone.

We had a great line for our pick of the day on the NCAAB Kansas (+2) at Colorado game which had a potential payout of 1.877.  By game time the line had changed and Kansas was favored by 1.5 only to lose 75 - 72 on a well defended long 3 at the buzzer! Tough!

We'll bounce back tomorrow!

You should require subscribers to sign a message using the address they paid with, or use a different payment address for each subscriber.

Otherwise, someone could potentially sit and wait until your address gets a payment, and send you an email saying they sent it.

Thank you for your comment.

So far, we have asked subscribers to include in their email the wallet address from which they sent their payment.  For security purposes, some subscribers have chosen to provide us with the first few letters/numbers and the last few letters/numbers of their address as a means to identify or authenticate their payment.  Truthfully, we have not as yet been inundated with so many subscribers that would make it difficult for us to confirm the origin of the payment or the identity of the subscriber.  The inclusion of a message with the payment might be helpful and something that we will consider implementing for sure.

Thanks again for your interest.

All bitcoin transactions are publicly visible on the blockchain. Send BTC from any address, and see for yourself.

While it has not been a problem so far, I totally see your point.  So what is the best solution?  We certainly don't want to expose our subscribers in any way.  Their loyalty to us and our guarantee of the security of their transactions is integral to our success   Your input is greatly appreciated and respected.
I don't think you understand what I am talking about. Good luck with the service. Smiley

Thanks again for your interest and feedback.

We have implemented the following changes:

(1) All subscriptions to receive the pick of the day are purchased from us by first sending us an email at [email protected] requesting the pick of the day.

(2) We then immediately respond to the email confirming the request to receive the pick of the day and we provide the subscriber with a unique bitcoin wallet address to which the deposit of the 0.001 BTC fee can be completed.

(3) As soon as we receive the deposit (at least 1 confirmation) we immediately email the registered subscriber with that day's pick of the day.  As previously mentioned, some subscribers have requested information on the other picks that we personally have selected to play but that did not make the final cut as our pick of the day. We are always happy to provide those as well for no additional fee whatsoever.

We wish everyone success today and we invite you to try out our pick of the day.  Cutoff time to receive today's pick of the day is 5:45 PM on this server or approximately 90 minutes from now.

Give us a try and you will see your units won increase steadily over time.

Congratulations to today's subscribers for the pick of the day!  Easy win tonight as Arizona State (-2.5) defeated DePaul 78-56 in NCAAB action.  Our payout was 1.775:

1.000 Units Wagered
1.775 Units Returned
+0.775 Net Units Won

Make no mistake about it, we are here for the long haul and at some point there will be rough seas ahead...but tonight was definitely smooth sailing!

Again, congratulations to everyone who took this wager!

If you guys want to keep proper records I would honestly suggest that you set up a units system to keep track of how many units your up/down? As a side note do you suggest to bettors that they should flat bet each game or have differing wager sizes?

As requested, here are our numbers for all wagers over the first 5 days of December:

Units Wagered = 14.000
Units Returned = 18.910
Net Betting Units Won = +4.910
Net Winning Percentage (10-3-1) = 71%
Net Return on Investment = +35%

And here are the numbers for our subscribers' pick of the day over those same 5 days of December:

Units Wagered = 5.000
Units Returned = 6.443
Net Betting Units Won = 1.443
Net Winning Percentage (3-1-1) = 60%
Net Return on Investment = +29%

Please note that these are all very conservative numbers.  Some of our subscribers have informed us that they did in fact win the wager that we have recorded as a push which means that for those individuals their winning percentage is significantly higher at 80% and their ROI increases dramatically to +45%.

If you like what you see, please consider becoming a subscriber to our daily pick. You subscribe on a daily basis only which means no ongoing commitments whatsoever.  You are always free to either subscribe or not subscribe each and every single day.

Also, if you have any concerns, comments or questions or if you wish to subscribe you can always reach us at [email protected].

Lastly, please consider following us on Twitter at @abitbetter247.

As always, good luck to everyone!
