I'd like to second micryon's words here. A foundation is what we need to get to the moon. We need volunteers willing to put time in, make partners, and spread the word.
I don't particularly need any donations for my efforts.. it was a good exercise, and it was fun.
However, I think it's important to turn this working team into a Foundation, and to have a donations coffer that can be used for promotional activities and continued development.
So that the real vision of Asiacoin can be achieved.. Beyond fixing the coin.. people have to think outside of the box on what this coin is attempting to achieve, and invest in those areas that helps it achieve those goals... that part is much more important.

Holding time is not reset.. everything will be as if nothing has happened..

You can PM me for italian translations (I'm not well aware of tech words but I can easily understand how to do it reading at other italian translations about coins...just to tell you that I might use a little time more then other translators

I love the ending! Here's my 2 cents. It wasn't until the ending that I understood what you were going for. There is a disconnect between the static shots of the beginning and the theme of "Rising Dragon" at the end. The music is really great. My thoughts would be to gradually use images that build up to your landing point (a rising Dragon). The images you have now seem to be random shots of cities; the last of which focuses almost solely on the flowers in the foreground (how is this image powerful?). Maybe a theme could be each image more powerful than the one before showing something ready to explode...images from an ancient Asian civilization (old, slow) gradually building up to huge skyscrapers (current, sleek) and then fade to your ending shot (representing the future and something huge about to happen). I don't know. This is just an idea, but I think you get my point about continuity throughout the video, or using images that fit your theme of "Rising Dragon." I love the ending...

All the images are not random at all...those are all Asian towns..btw...I like the idea of focusing on the message.

I agree with zing96. I had the same impression (understood the video at the end of it); music is great and I also thought ancient asian civilization images could work better. Maybe...talking about dragons you can use something about chinese warriors or something like that

Just another small investors POV here, sounds like a good plan Maestro1, much better than the original coin code. Without your proposed changes IMO the price will crash hard & the coin abandoned in less that a year otherwise. However, with these changes a much better long term investment vehicle is created, one I'm looking forward to enjoying a share of. Still that appeal of creating an early adopter frenzy is in place for months to come, time will tell thanks to the team effort here.
As to the stake age, its an interesting question, pretty much in agreement with the original development there too.
i hope people will not dump coin, when it released on exchanges
they will but there will be people waiting to gobble them up

Note: These numbers are the maximum, if 100% of the coins stake all the time. This will not be the case obviously. So the actual total coin numbers will be significantly less but there is no way to know as we don't know what percentage will stake. This new staking system will be unique to our coin too, adding innovation to our investments!
I ask to postpone other discussions now to when we agreed to PoS staking rate, as this is what we need to decide on urgently. We can't do a poll as the thread is not self-moderated. That was essential for building trust.

- The majority of you invested in the coin mainly of its high stake rate in the first year and named it as its main feature: therefore we will honour it.
- However, a lot of you raised concerns about the future and sustainability of the coin with a very high interest rate, which is a valid point. The original developer did not think about the future of the coin, and we don't think his decisions were in the interest of long term survival of the coin
- Sudden change in the staking rate is NOT good for the coin as it creates a sudden change of its most significant specitication.
What I proposed a few pages ago:
I personally think a swift change PoS rate from 70-100% to 2-5% is not a good idea, it's a very big change for a coin and its specification. I very much prefer a more slow gradual decrease on shorter intervals (e.g. instead of jumping from 100% in year 1 to 2% in year 2, we can do a slow decrease every 1-2 months until we get to 2% within 2-3 years).
I don't think the original developer thought about the long-term PoS issues of the coin, this is evident from the code he wrote but this is something that we need to decide.

When PoS is at such a high rate, there should also be a high minimum stage age, so that it would take committment (not day trading) to stake at a high rate. It adds value to keeping AC for long periods. That's something we need.
