Random question.

Why are the dividend payments still in the mining address?

https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?address=1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa

I realise you are busy, but could you clarify this Ken (or someone else)?

Also, we have most likely got the NRE funds. So now, its a case of cashing the BTC out into fiat and getting on the phone to the manufacturers right?

just like last week, Ken selling will be a major cause of BTC price crashing lol.

Yes, working on moving those out.

Tender Offer? What price?

1/1 - read third post of thread

Will there be a Tender Fund for ActiveMining on BTCT or are we required to tender from btct to bitfunder?

When Active Mining is approved, BTC-TC can do an automatic tender.

So is the thought here this stock could skyrocket, like ASICMINER did???

Like do you see this stock someday going up in value to 1 BTC per share?

I am trying to decide if I should by more since it is rock bottom right now and all you keep talking about something big about to happen with it(Still reading this whole thread)

Not 1BTC but I would say 0.005 in the near futute could be possible.

See Vbs' spreadsheets and draw your own conclusions

Here's the spreadsheet:

New update, this time I considered some hardware selling estimates, as well as the impact of Ken's 15M shares on the whole operation. Smiley

(any errors found, just shout! Grin)

Considerations:
  • Mining
  • Klondikes mining at August (worst case)
  • Avalon chips overclocked to 380MHz, since they will be running on Springfield Underground data center
  • November/December (worst case) hashrate increase from the high-volume process (low-volume is not worth it for just a ~month difference), using BTC1.2 per chip+assembly cost, chips at 16GH/s, not overclocked
  • 50% of mining dividends used to buy new Fast-Hash-One 16GH/s chips
  • Total network hashrate includes ActM's mining plus hardware sold to other parties (200% markup)
  • Sales
  • Sales volume is really hard to predict. I just assumed it to be 2x the profits of mining, which I still think is really on the low side, as ActM is gonna also sell chips in bulk. For example, Avalon in getting ready to ship its ~BTC164,000 in bulk chips. There is definitely money to be made in bulk chip sales!

Conclusions:
  • Investors are fully reimbursed of their paid BTC.0025/share around December/January
  • The MH/s/share and MH/s/BTC are indeed crazy profitable
  • As soon as the unit price of chips gets down (it will drop 1/3 to 1/4 even before going to easicopy), the hashrate can rise even much further
  • Having direct access to buy hardware at manufacturing cost is what really makes this possible
  • The effect of hardware sales is just mind boggling

Yes, it will definitely hit 1 BTC. No doubt about it.

*shifty look* Wink

Haha 1 btc would give Active Mining a valuation higher than all the BTC in existance

Not 1BTC but I would say 0.005 in the near futute could be possible.

This scenario seems likely to me, taking AsicMiner as the gold standard of bitcoin securities at the moment, at 4.5*400,000 AsicMiner = 1,800,000btc which the market deems is worth 20% of the network hashrate + sales

At 0.005*25,000,000 ActiveMining = 125,000 btc which is about 7% of Asicminer's market cap meaning that ActiveMiner will need to achieve/maintain .2*.07 = 1.4% of the network (+ sales). Anything greater than 1.4% of the network should result in a higher price.

The problem with this math is if in fact AsicMiner is overvalued. I will not speculate on this as I've been burned in the past when I doubted AsicMiner's resilience and momentum.

We are getting close to the 10,000,000 share limit, so soon people will no longer be able to transfer AMC --> ActiveMining, correct?

Once ten million is hit, no more are released.  regardless, whoever is left on BTCT or Bitfunder, can still transfer up till the 31st

Not sure, it is stated that:

Quote
The cutoff time for dividends to be paid to shares tendered is 18:00 UTC on Wednesday of each week
If you expect dividends to be paid do not tender your shares after this time until the dividends are
paid for that week.  After the dividends are paid for the week you can then tender your shares.

This offer may be withdrawn at any time.  Any Tender Offers
not accepted will be returned with any accumulated dividends.

Tender Offers will be processed FIFO as fast as possible.

Tender Offer expires July 31, 2013

I own the original shares on BTCT..am I missing dividends if I wait to tender? Is there any gain from tendering ASAP or should I just wait until the second security is approved? Can't sort that out from reading Ken's posts

If your shares are on BTCT, they will be transferred to ActiveMining shares automatically after the second listing is approved. You shouldn't tender, just wait

again, not to beat this into the ground but I want to make sure I haven't missed something:

If we own AMC-PT shares on BTC-TC, do we still sit tight with them and they will automatically turnover?

or should we consider the tender process outlined in kslaughter's original post regarding ACTIVEMINING?

Yes I believe we will be fine just letting the new security be created. A confirm would be nice though.
