The creepy thing about Active Mining is some here seem to sincerely believe it will succeed.

This page has 20 posts, 8 of which are from Trolls who weren't interested in ACtM 3 weeks ago.

3 weeks ago pankakake wasn't here, Entropy wasn't here and crumbs was posting once or twice every other day.

What's changed?

Why are they so concerned about noobs and the 'reputation of Bitcoin' all of a sudden?

Ken isn't raising any more money, he hasn't asked for any money from anyone sincne IPO days many months ago - so the 'scam' claims are not based in fact.

So can someone explain this sudden perfect storm of Troll activity on here?

Anything to do with CryptoTrade??

I wish shareholders were generally more demanding. Frequent financial statements that are normalized, honest communication. No unknown should be able to raise millions - if you're new you have to smart small. That's something 99% of the securities here do not manage. But when you ask for any of these, you're automatically a troll who wants "cheap shares". Asked for this for Cognitive, months later 4/5 of the dividend is "missing". I hope after so many "I told you so" people will listen.

Instead, they think hyping the company is going to make the shares valuable. It doesn't work. It lets the issuer get away with anything, and does not bring actual revenue.

The good news is you've got your wish.  The demise of BTCT and bitfunder has reduced trading volumes over 1000 fold.  No new issues are being sold.

The only hope holders of bitcoin securities have is recovery of their investment through dividends.

...Enough of your trolling, crumbs. You won't get StuartUK to see the light, and you really do take up way too much bandwidth.  Take a break at least until the big announcement on February 1st.
...

I wish i could, LorenzoMoney.  Unfortunately, in my absence you'd inevitably try to unload your "shares" on some clueless n00b.  I can't allow that, LorenzoMoney.
I wish you to know it's not my love for the innocents of this world or lack of it towards you that make this impossible.
This failscam simply can not be allowed to go on -- it reflects negatively on bitcoin as a whole & me as a part of it.

Surely, ActM is not the only low brow event in the bitcoin-verse.

Despite the death threats in PM, and the endless phone calls from detractors. He goes on!
Is that not bravery? Is that not heroism?

It's enlightened self-interest.  I don't want the good name of my bitcoin to be sullied with lowbrow scams & failures the likes of Active Mining.

No.  It's merely one of the most blatant ones, with Labcoin gone.  Labcoin was a curious deal -- i think pretty much everyone who dealt with it knew it for what it was.  The "shares" were used as tokens in a fun (and relatively simple) game of "who gets the bag."
The creepy thing about Active Mining is some here seem to sincerely believe it will succeed.
That, or they're accomplished trolls, and i'm just not in on the joke.

So what's going on here? I see that their website still states November shipping. People still think this will end up well?

The bagholders have been passing around LSD and magic mushrooms since the spring.

VBS's magic spreadsheet showing how they would struggle to not 50% the network is now replaced by StuartUK's hand waving about 10% being just around the corner.

It's hilarious in a 3 stooges kind of way.

I've accepted your financial failings as an immutable, though unfortunate fact of life.  Efforts to save you from yourself are as productive as railing against gravity.
Honestly, sometimes i think you post here only to grumble and pick fights.

So what you have been doing for the last few months on this thread and quite a few others can best be described by yourself as unproductive? ahh ok.

Nah.
Active Mining is the cancer in the butt of bitcoin.  I am treating it with chemo to halt metastasis.  Though the chemo won't save you, the affected cells, it must be done for the sake of my bitcoin.
I wish things could be different, but all of my warnings fell on deaf ears.

I was under the impression an Executive has to give 48 hours notice before making a trade. So Ken's only mistake was trading in secret, as it's not outright illegal.

Ken is selling unregistered securities to US persons -- a far graver transgression than insider trading.

We're all taking a risk and so that is even more motivation to succeed.
Go draw portals.

Just remember Crumbs probably wants us to fail just so he can gloat and laugh at us.

Oh really?  I thought he was here to save us with his cute kindergarten art  Cheesy

Did you say that the final announcement will be on February 1st of 2014?
Is that when it will all be done?

What in Gods name are you talking about?
That that made absolutely no sense.  Are you drunk?

Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do.
Here we go again. The CEO is allowed to trade stock in his own company. It is not considered insider trading. It happens all the time. Many people watch when CEO's buy or sell stock as this could be an indication of where the stock price is heading. Nothing illegal about it.

yeah its highly regulated, large shareholders have to file certain SEC forms, and many executives can only trade in predefined intervals to avoid illegal insider trading scrutiny

You have an issue with unproven "insider trading" and tell us what regulated securities and the SEC make you do but have no issue that this is an unregulated security? Cart before the horse it seems.

lol, no. ^ even if this were registered securities where did the hell do you get this stuff

I just had a quick look through some legal documents and you seem to be right, I remember having a solid reference for this last time the discussion came up but I can't find it.

Anyway stslimited, Ken bought in at 0.004, not really indicative of insider trading is it?

Remember folks, if you hold shares in ActM and Ken gets prosecuted, we have 0.

Of course Crumbs wants Ken to fail, because then we all fail and he would have been right.

There is no "Remember Folks", 95% of the board has crumbs on ignore but you, stuartUK, and a few other seem to think he has any power over where this stock goes and continue to quote and converse with him.

I guess it doesn't really matter considering you have been told multiple times by various forum members to let crumbs have his tantrums as it will just end up getting deleted.

You, Bargraphics, you had tremendous power when you convinced people that Terrahash was legit.  And when Terrahash vanished and the money was gone, you deleted everything.  The Terrahash thread is there to remind everyone that approval from you is a sure sign of fraud.
