If you have bitcoins and you aren't getting them onto an exchange during these peaks, and selling at some point to buy back lower later, you are an idiot. Sorry to be so crass, but it is the truth. Otherwise all these price gains are pointless for you.

No Ken is not an idiot, the safest way to hold Bitcoins is too wait until you need them and then cash out. If you want to Ken to start day trading we are all in trouble, even the best day traders have major losses it's why they have to put in so much time to average it all out after a year.

All this talk about hindsight selling at peaks isn't fair at all. Do you even realise the emotional pressure and stress with shareholders chanting SELL HIGH SELL HIGH with over a million dollars? Give Ken a break.

If over the long term Bitcoin goes up and you cannot predict the market, then waiting until the last moment to sell before needing the cash is the only logical course of action.

Vigil, if you can predict the peaks like you believe you can, why are you here? Just a couple of percent increases of your money per day will turn even 1 bitcoin into thousands in 12 months.

Exactly, but I had to start over because all my coins were in ActM. So, I am on my way to doubling my investment I made back at $320. No one can hit every one of them, but it isn't that difficult. And my comment was more general, not directed at Ken. If you recall, I asked that people not bad-mouth Ken. I just get pissed when I hear people say "the best thing to do is hold". Hold till when? If you know that Bitcoin goes through adoption phases and short-term manias, why not cash-out at some point? Otherwise you have gained nothing from all the publicity and growth. At least some percentage of your holdings should be cashed out and reinvested at lower prices. Doesn't even matter what lower price. If you see Bitcoin prices going up 10x, you should know it isn't going to stay like that - it is absolutely without any doubt going to come back down. Cash out and buy 10%, 20%, 60% lower.

we have no volume because trading has not started.  If you were buying wouldn't you want to wait until the market opens?  Putting bid orders in right now would be stupid if you want the price to open low.  stop posting now

Dude shut up, we can only ever make decisions based on information, the information at hand right now suggests an opening price of around 0.0005 for large volume. This is the fact right now and yes; they may change but it's better than your stupid wild speculation with no basis in reality.

You might be right at 0.0125 but that was simply a gamble if so and you got lucky, you have no evidence to support your claim.

In addition, you say that the price could very well be higher because people are waiting, well guess what smart ass? The price could be lower too, if a big dump happens in the first 10 seconds. Again pure fantasy based on no facts.

All we have is the info on that order book, it might change a lot, but we can only speculate where it will go.

VE, you are making some really dumb posts in recent days, please slow down!

I hope Ken sold at $1240.

Not likely.  I distinctly remember him with one of his  one line responses when asked about taking advantage of high bitcoin prices
"well Bitcoin might be $2000 next week"

He's probably sitting on his couch right now trying to figure out what intellihash is

He actually said $1200.

This is not negative you idiot! We have uncertainty and no volume!

I expect as the news gets better the price will rise higher than 0.001. But there are over 100,000 being offered for 0.0005 and I know someone here will want out ASAP.

Or are you living in a fantasy land where no investor wants out. Lots of weak hands here.

First day trading will be a bloodbath, I expect the next few weeks to be very positive though. Also it's good we get rid of weak hands, less whinging on the forums.

.0025 is more like it. I hope Ken sold at $1240. You've got to take the profits sometimes, you just have to do it. You only win if you come out with more Bitcoin than you had before.

well good news girls,
since Ken is running a fiat business and not mining, a bitcoin price drop of 25% means our shares are worth almost 25% more since they are priced in BTC but valued based on fiat originated dividends (if we ever see dividends again)

if it was going to open at .001 it should theoretically open at .00125 now

I think we will open at 0.0005 judging by buy order weight.

After discussing the current issues in some detail with a few top shareholders in IRC, we would like to open the discussion further. I am assembling a meeting from among the top shareholders to discuss how to best approach the "communication issue" we are experiencing in a constructive and diplomatic manner.

Please PM me if you are top shareholder.

guys, Ken wants to keep everything a secret so that Cointerra doesn't get any hints on how to run a business:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cointerra-trip-report-359084

make sure cointerra stays away from Kens office, we wouldn't want to give away any vital information!

I wonder if there are even any cases for Ken to pose with.  Come on Ken something.  Hold up a fan.  A PCI wire.

Those companies make this one look ridiculous.

Well those photos are taken by other people, so why doesn't someone within 10 hours drive go down to Springfield and take photos? Ken has already said coming to things is ok.

If I was even 24 hour drive away I would go, as I have so much money on the line. Unfortunately I am in Australia and no longer have the time to take a week out and travel.
