Would have been worth $789,120 yesterday.

saying that ActM has payed 800k USD in divs is just plain out lying.

It isn't lying is it?

Paid out in divs = approx 640
BTC price today = 1060

640x1060=678400

A bit off, but last time I did the calculation BTC was higher. It's not lying, that is how much has been paid out at todays prices.

The bottom line is that ActM has not yet managed to deliver anything else than words, delays and future promises.

Is that actually correct? What about:

1) Close to 800k USD in divs to shareholders
2) Shipped products to customers

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with any of those.
1) Really? I thought it was like ~600 BTC and last dividend was months ago?
Assuming average BTC/USD rate around 100 that means 600 x 100 = $60k.
IF you chose to hold those BTC and not convert them to fiat they are today worth 10 times that, it is correct, but saying that ActM has payed 800k USD in divs is just plain out lying.
2) So he says, but --> 0 <-- users have posted a picture/info about this.
If I told you I am posting this from the top of mount everest it does not automatically mean that I am on the top of mount everest.

Again, I want to be a cheerleader.
Ken/someone else, please prove me wrong!

I'm not sure what you have been smoking when you say price/share will go up to 0.03-0.04.
That will require something like 4-5% of total hashing power.

I'm not saying it is impossible, just that it is not very likely.

It becomes more likely if Ken reaches his goal of building, "...the largest Bitcoin Mining Farm in the world.", by investing some of the $40,000,000 profits expected from hardware sales and recouped NRE in 2014.

And why should any of this be expected to become real?
Ken said we would be in low-volume chip production as of now. They were delayed.
Ken also said he would be releasing "Consolidated Active Mining Corporation and VMC reports" by Nov 30. This is beeing ignored.
The bottom line is that ActM has not yet managed to deliver anything else than words, delays and future promises.
Saying that we will have the largest mining farm in the world or we will have $40M in profit are just two more future promises tha may or may not become reality.

I will admit that Ken has managed the shuffling of shares between btct, bitfunder and crypto-trade fairly well, he also seem to be serious with his business.
I am usually a very patient person. I am however growing impatient with Ken's lack of communication.

Disclamer: I am a shareholder, and I would love to be a cheerleader. But the facts just keep pointing in another direction.

All we did if provide Ken with some unsecured loans. We do not own any part of ActM. We cannot use our shares to vote. There are no share holder meetings. The shares we all "own" and which until there is a viable exchange, have no control of, do not give us any rights of ownership of anything.

Yes they are the conditions set out in the IPO.

You really had to create such a massive post just to pick someone up on the use af a simple widely accepted term 'We'. You are just disruptive. You are bringing nothing to this thread other than nonsense, unreasonable doubt and personal attacks. You don't even read Official News releases, just spout nonsense based on your own blinkered views.

Ignored.

Shipped to whom? Name one person who has received a working ActM/VMC miner and has it up and running and mining.

Why would you think I have access to customers names?

Shipping:

We have this last week shipped our first products to customers.

Sample chips? You are believing the posts of others to be the saying of Chariman Ken.

If we have shipped products they are either sample chips/sample chip based or first batch chips. Either way we have had our sample chips. If you think they are products using outsourced chips then you are wrong - We will be introducing our Fast-Hash One Smart Edition and will have an upgrade path for our current customers.

Can you follow the logic here? It's like you saying Ken has not explicitly said he has two arms - so he might not. Ken has not mentioned sample chips because of an NDA. Ken has mentioned finished products, what do you think VMC sells - baked beans?

Dude, you really are exhibiting how far right of the mean on the normal curve of IQ you really are.

Ironically is seems to be you who can't follow a simple line of logic.

Why are you so vapid, though?

This word again. Do you even know what vapid means? 'offering nothing that is stimulating or challenging; bland.'
I think you mean lacking in substance not bland. That's the second time you have embarrassed yourself in this post where you criticise others for having a low IQ? lol
The company is operating in an extremely competitive commercial environment, that's why we are short on details.

And as far as facts go, Where are all these miners? Where are the finished machines?

We have assembled and shipped sample-chip based machines. We are now in further pre-production mode and awaiting first full batch.

Don't reply Lorenzo I'm not interested in talking to you anymore, you really are so intentionally lacking in any ability to take in the bigger picture that talking to you is like talking to a child who refuses to listen.

someone put and bid order at 0.012...what is going on??is he just playing around??

Seems reasonable to me. In a few weeks time that will be a bargain price.

Personally I'm holding for the divs but may liquidate 10% at anything over 0.03

Share price was on 0.008 without even any noteworthy hashing power...

It doesn't require us to achieve 4-5% of hashing power, it just requires people to believe that we might be able to achieve that, enough to buy shares at that price. Smiley  I agree, at this stage that seems unlikely.

We've always known that our chips are overclockable from 16 gh/s to 20 gh/s.

I'm reading that Intelihash will bring something extra to the party.  A 20% one off over clock isn't the 'game changer' that is being implied imo.

Remember Ken said we knew we were unlikely to make ROI months ago, and went back to R&D so that we could take on the 400 Gh/s and 500 Gh/s chips.

If Intellihash is to turn out to be our 'secret ingredient' then it's vital that we stay one step ahead of our competitors and remain in the dark for now.

@drawingthesun, nice post.  Smiley

Any mining gurus want to speculate with me on what IntelliHash will be?  I'm guessing something like variable difficulty - something that increases the nonce search space and cuts down on chatty communication.  Or maybe just 48 bit nonces.

If it is a fatter nonce/bigger search space will this up stale rates?  Do you build some kind of interrupt so you can restart on the new share right away or do you just let the other hashers finish and give them the new share when they're done?  I know jack shit about the tradeoffs here and this EE stuff.

You could try gleaning some information from our illustrious leader via PM. Perhaps you will succeed where all else have failed…

The force is strong with this one

I personally think that this intellihash was miscommunicated, but lets assume that it is what Ken says it is; a software that can scale up and increase hashrate of the chips or allow for a competitive chip making process that can give us a constant extra 20%.

If the above is true, and it really is a technology that will give us an edge, Ken will not talk about it and this is the correct business decision. However if the intellihash is a stalling tactic, again Ken will not talk about it.

So if it's real Ken shouldn't be talking about it, because the same process/algorithm/whatever could be used by our competitors, but if it's not real, Ken obviously sill not talk about it.

There is no way Ken is talking about intellihash.

Intellihash(tm)

Intellihash is our new trademark for our new Bitcoin mining software which gives up to a 20% increase in hashing speed and has the possibility to increase the speed of our mining machines as the difficulty goes up.  We have had to modify the software in our chips to make it work with our new software.  The chips are going to be late; however, our new Intellihash software could be a game changer for the company.

Im guessing its basically just software controlled over/underclocking and volting, and perhaps some other parameters not unlike KnC's "tuning suite".

Either way, a 20% performance increase doesnt warrant a long delay when the network is growing by almost 20% every week.

You should ask Crumbs, he's our "Bitcoin Mining Expert" and supposedly acquired the first bitcoin before Satoshi even thought about the idea..

Crumbs mined the genesis block, don't cha know?
