For me it's important to not compromise the investment in bitcoin with seasonal events, but there is no problem in cashing out the profit made from this investment to fiat from times to times in order to buy gifts, give financial support to people around or to just have access to some miscellaneous goods for yourself.

Money's purpose is to serve us and in my opinion there isn't a better usage for it than a plentiful Christmas or New Year's banquet with people you enjoy to be together. If you have money for that, I'm sure it will be a very wisely spent money!

Very timely advice just that most persons would read them but wouldn't settle for what has been said here.
It's very know that this is a season where people spend unwisely without 2nd thoughts but but that shouldn't be heard of any investor because as an investor, they're levels to the things we should be capable of doing and spending on frivolities without thinking twice is one of the things we shouldn't be caught doing.

It's a season where many share love and that shouldn't stop anyone one from doing what they love best, beside one cannot work in the whole 365 days and not enjoy his fruitful investment, it's one thing to invest and is another to used them when you need them. I can't invest the whole my life, there is time to be serious, time to work, time to do family and there should be tlme to enjoy all the aforementioned.
Life is easy but sometimes, we make it hard, after all we will live them behind.
That is we have been practicing since before, we usually giving gifts to our friends and relatives, and even give to others as we shared our blessings and love. And for me, it wasn't a problem as long as we still have the money left for us and did not compromise our finances. It is all about sharing, and the more we do this, the more blessings to come back, at least I have this belief and I keep this one till forever.

Perhaps, we can bring these things for our whole life, at least if ever we die, these people can even remember our good deeds and can make them as a mirror as well.

People get carried away during this season, now this does not mean that we should not buy gifts for our loved ones but people simply buy too much for too many people to the point that when the new year comes they have no money available at all and they have to go into debt to pay for their bills, and this is not the correct way to manage our finances, after all while giving and receiving gifts is nice there is nothing like having no worries at all because you have no debts and you have enough money to pay for your bills.
It would be totally such dumb thing if you do consider out on taking a loan or would spend up your savings or emergency funds just to show that you are extravagant when it comes to gifts
like this and like that.

Don't try to impress out people around and make yourself that rich even if you do know that your money wont really be enough on doing so, so its better to be
real rather than on showing something which isn't not right.
Exactly, I agree with what you say.
Even though this is a blessed month it doesn't mean you have to force yourself to give gifts as this is a bad thing to do.
be reasonable and give according to your ability, do not do things in vain to impress others that will make you regret later.

As I see everything, I think it is better to put the money that you want to save in a bank to put it in BTC, it does not matter if the price falls or rises, the important thing is that you can trust the safest asset, action or currency that is BTC, depending on how the banks are doing, FIAT money and everything that has to do with BTC is much more attractive than putting money in a bank when there is so much rumor of a possible market crash, in my case I don't trust banks, much less In governments, I trust crypto more.

When you have a certain amount of crypto that you keep in your wallet, then you should consider selling it when you really need the money. I will never give out a loan when I have crypto that I can sell anytime when I need money, so supposedly having some crypto in the wallet will be able to help us get money when we need it.

You shouldn't hold yourself back too hard when you need something, so some of the crypto you keep will help you meet that need. Selling some or selling all of them is an option, but when you have to make a loan while you have crypto in your wallet, I don't think it makes sense.

It's like the habit of people to celebrate their special day with loved ones. And usually, they will do a lot of things to create an unforgettable moment.
And it's certainly not just about money. Everyone is certainly in a certain financial condition and I am sure that each of them has measured their needs and expenses at the end of this year.
But I agree that we shouldn't spend more than we really can afford. Money management is very important, especially in this pandemic era.
Totally agree, it's just that the tradition is a bit difficult to change even if there's a lot of advice, we can't simply throw away the tradition of spending unless you've grown up in a place that doesn't celebrate then probably you might be able to resist the expense this season.

Don't bend to societal pressure of over spending during this festive season, make serious plans for the celebrations and the coming year, Don't fall into the trap or bend to the pressure of selling off a percentage of your cryptos to  spend this festive season, a new year is coming. January is usually a long month that carries along a lot of expenses, make plans and preparations now for tomorrow, spend wisely today.
Thanks for this great advice, this is indeed an interesting and helpful advice, because many people fall victim of such situation, I am among those who may fall into that trap of selling some of my crypto after flexing the budgeted money for the celebration, but this time I will try and limit it so that this new year will not be harsh. Marry Christmas in advance 🎉🎉

Yes, the worst thing people could do now is to be forced into a situation to Sell early, because they want to spend that money on Christmas gifts and expensive holidays. Try not to liquidate your Crypto investment before the "Boom" period come or after the recovery to the next all-time-high has happened.

I know most people are living on the edge between being able to pay their debt and not being able to do it in these Covid times when people are losing their jobs, but try to push through it, so that you can pick the fruits of your labor, when the price recover.  Wink
I would say if you are spending a lot of money on your holiday gifts or other stuff then you have no idea what you are doing. I am not saying that you shouldn't do it, but if you are selling crypto to buy a gift or celebrate it anyway you want by selling, that's not a smart move at all. Imagine your crypto as gone, there is no crypto, do not touch them and whatever money you have left is the amount of money you can use during holidays.

I am not saying there are no people like that, there are some people who are smart with their investments and there are some who are not, but that doesn't change the fact that it is not "forced" stuff, it is just bad economics to sell for temporary fun.

Indeed, especially with Fed raising the interest rate soon, it is crucial to not overleverage yourself in terms of spending or investing.

If you take on a lot of debt right now you are going to feel the hurt very soon when rates start hiking.

Stay the course and don't do anything stupid. You don't need to get in the market when everyone else is hyping things up.

I have saved a lot of money for this month of celebration that is starting tomorrow till January 2022. Now that the price of bitcoin has hit $50k few hours ago, it will be better for me to reduce the money for celebration, so that I can buy more of bitcoin to be part of this good news that is coming to bitcoin investors.
Bitcoin price always change positively during Christmas and new year for those that missed their passive income from January to November to recover them from this month of December. Spend half of your money on bitcoin and use the remaining one to celebrate Christmas and new year in case the price hit $80k you will have something to achieve.
Spending much for Christmas and New Year is never necessary. Just spend on the amount based on your limit and not that exceeds on your budget. Better think for tomorrow that you can be more profitable and this will be possible if you can manage your funds today, and not just enjoy today and then suffer tomorrow.

However, having this season needs to be celebrate but we can still celebrate this moment by preparing simple things that will bring joy to the heart of your loved ones.

You are correct mate, I have seen people who unnecessary lavish lifestyle during the yuletide season, go and take out their Bitcoin or good Alt just to be able to sponsor their hunger of satisfying the unnecessary fast Life status they are choking on. To me this period is one for you to reminisce on this this year you profits, your loses and know how to build and even more profitable plans for next year.

Well said. By selling early, because you feel like the season is asking you for it, is not a wise decision. Especially if you have been holding for quite some time, and what you own is set up for investment, then you won’t be able to reap the benefits of what you started. I think that I would rather prefer to have nothing on this season than have no huge profits in the boom period.
