Yes, the worst thing people could do now is to be forced into a situation to Sell early, because they want to spend that money on Christmas gifts and expensive holidays. Try not to liquidate your Crypto investment before the "Boom" period come or after the recovery to the next all-time-high has happened.

I know most people are living on the edge between being able to pay their debt and not being able to do it in these Covid times when people are losing their jobs, but try to push through it, so that you can pick the fruits of your labor, when the price recover.  Wink

Don't bend to societal pressure of over spending during this festive season, make serious plans for the celebrations and the coming year, Don't fall into the trap or bend to the pressure of selling off a percentage of your cryptos to  spend this festive season, a new year is coming. January is usually a long month that carries along a lot of expenses, make plans and preparations now for tomorrow, spend wisely today.
Seriously this is not a time to be spending money without being calculative of what you are going to be facing in the future. The month of January comes with a lot of expenses, there are going to be a lot of bills to pay to the extent that if you are not prepared for it now, you are going to regret spending carelessly the month before then.

So, this shouldn’t be a time for people to be spending carelessly, rather they should be making plans on how they can get to earn more income at this time and be prepared for the expenses that they will be about to face in the new year time. Things like paying house rent for those who are living in a rented apartment is something for them to be worried about by now, because it starts in the first month of the new year which is January.

Don't be carried away by the season, celebrate and remember the new year which life becomes new by then, the bills starts from the new year. Know the beginning of the year seems hard. To me instead of me to celebrate in this season and become broke in the new year, I rather don't waste any money this season.
Yes, it is better to keep what we have, especially our investment in crypto because the crypto market can increase back so if we still store many coins, we will be ready to sell at the next bull run. The new year will come but that depends on how we celebrate. We can celebrate without having a big party and spend too much money, especially if we care about our future because we do not just spend the money without planning for our future.

Recently on the first week of the December most of the coins fall down because of the season of holiday they pulled out some of their investment just to celebrate this season well I guess some of the people know the thing they are doing but again it's better to have their plans we don't know what will happen for the next coming month. Well still this is the team they need to celebrate for all of those hardworks they made over the year.

The concept of advice for the season should not even be asked when it regards to crypto. You know what you have to do if you even bother to look at the bitcoin cash to flow models or have a hint of what happened in the past. The problem is that people want to trade and increase their positions but they do not really understand that they key here is to be patient, promote the bitcoin project and others perhaps and let the magic of deflation and limited supply to work in your favour. It does not take a season, it takes at least a few years, but is as certain as rain.

That you are right! But can't stop people making their celebration more than a party, more than Christmas as they are still alive when the covid-19 strikes us. YOLO, people got this and think they should have to this big celebration with their family. But yeah, we still have to use our money wisely and not just to think today but also for tomorrow and for the following days.

Anyways, if you are a rich person, just do what you want.

I am guessing that there is going to be a holiday spirit in most of the world, if you are living in a Christian place then Christmas could be present, or even if you are not in a Christian nation there could be some festivities, and most importantly new years is new year's everywhere around the world. I am guessing that the next week could be a little boring, I can't know this, I am just assuming it but by the looks of it people are looking at these coming days as holidays. Which is why I am assuming that there is a good chance we could end up with very little volatility, very little trading volume and even maybe a very little liquidity available as well.

The season will come and go but the debt of expenses will still be there to clear off. If no money to Celebrate relax , money will definitely come and the next season will be Celebrated very well . Do not leave debt on your head because of Celebration.

Most people will get carried off by the euphoria of celebration to over spend. They drink alot and get intoxicated making them to lose control to do sorts of things that they regret after the effect of the drink go off then. This simply a time to be careful in every thing we do including driving this season because this season will come and go, we don't need to regret after the season.
Some people even take loans just to have a merrier celebration and suffer its consequence a year after. I guess there's no wrong in celebrating the season because its the most wonderful time of the year, but make sure that you are not over spending to the extent that you need to sell most of your cryptos. Because if you do that, you end up losing your expected profits because you sell your coins at a corrected price.

be contented on what you have. if you are pressured because of your peers or colleagues to celebrate and spend money more than you can afford, then, you should know that you are surrounded by wrong people.
be modest with your lifestyle and you will realise that you will have more peace within. it is not about the things that you can offer to other people.
I do believe that its better to celebrate the holiday season in a simple way without being pressured that you should have a festive  celebration because its what most people do. But believe me, rich men do not even care celebrate much about christmas because they are still focus on their investments, and other businessmen do not even have time to celebrate. Of course, i still chose to celebrate but not spending beyond my budget.

This is actually pretty good advice overall, but I would add that no one can really control whether they have to use their money (or bitcoin) if it’s all they have to spend. It’s great to try and save up as much crypto/bitcoin as  possible but bills have to be paid. I guess you might be referring more so to extra spending, in that case of course you should always do you best to save.
Bills should always be paid because they are our monthly obligations and knowing that we got to consumed and benefited from them. But when it comes to extra preparations like Christmas and New Year, i guess it will not be bad at all if we spend for foods for noche buena and for gifts to share this holiday season. Other than that, it may mean spending too much already. But in the end, its your own money so you are responsible to manage your expenses, enough that it won't create troubles in the next year and made you suffer financially.

If you have to sell crypto in order to buy presents or anything else, there's a good chance you're overinvested in crypto to begin with.  Whales sure as hell aren't selling their bitcoin/ETH/etc. to buy stocking stuffers, and as long as you have enough fiat to buy such things with, it makes no sense to use crypto instead--not with inflation starting to get out of control and while bitcoin is still near $50k.

I'm not sure about the "societal pressure" part of your statement, OP.  We all experience that in one form or another and bend to it to some degree whether we like it or not.  If you want to be a grinch during the holiday season, that's your prerogative, but I think it's a nice thing if you can afford to buy friends and family some gifts at least once a year.

Buying them with bitcoin is a mistake, however, unless you have so much of it that your gift budget doesn't even put a dent in your holdings.  And even then I'd still spend fiat rather than bitcoin for the reason that I mentioned.  Why be stupid with your money?

Actually you do have a point, but mind you that one can't hold and hold all year long without spending, there are times when spending becomes very necessary, there are other times when you just have to spend money to celebrate the season, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that, as long as you're not spending above your earning/income, then there is absolutely nothing wrong. The Christmas period is a time to share/show/send love, thus if you must spend to make your loved ones happy, then go ahead with it, just spend wisely and with caution, and remember to always have plans of growing your investments in the following year.
Well, Christmas makes us more spending as it has always been the trend eversince. As long as you have separate budget for it without touching those other funds intended for your savings, i guess that will always be fine. And besides, its a once a year celebration so it's never a bad idea to spend as long as you are not overspending. Because if you do, then it's always possible that you will be struggling in your finances in the next months to come so better spend only according to your budget limit.

Success is not only earning money but keeping it and increasing it. Many people earn some profits from their investment and then they use that profits for their pleasure. But what we should do is something else. We could circulate our profits to another project to increase our wealth. What we do today could change our future forever.

I always have some plan for such an occupation where I need money. So I hope I do not need to sell my initial investment in case of emergency.

Celebrating is good, but do not do what is bigger than you because of all in the name of celebration. Celebrate according to your the size of fund that you can afford.  Do not try to meet up with the expenses of Celebration. The season will come and go but the debt of expenses will still be there to clear off. If no money to Celebrate relax , money will definitely come and the next season will be Celebrated very well . Do not leave debt on your head because of Celebration.

It all depends on the situation and circumstances of each individual and what they do is their right and as long as they make money for their loved ones I think it is okay to have fun with their beloved family.
The important thing is to do it as needed and we can look for it again or make a new plan so that the expenses that occur can be covered because we are looking for money for them and so they can feel fun on holidays or the most important moments.
Don't be stingy if it's for the people we love even though they are in a disadvantageous position, because there are times when we feel loss and gain for the people we love as long as they are there and together.
