Is not of surprise that Senegal will win cape Verde because i see cape Verde like group of team that qualify with luck in their group, so every one know very well that Senegal, Egypt and Nigeria is the strongest team among the teams that play AFCON cup, so Senegal wining cape Verde is not surprising, the goals of Senegal suppose to be above the score, as the match ended with 2:0 Senegal vs cape Verde, the match was easy to Senegal to defeat.

Senegalvs Cape Verde
In this match I bet for Senegal. Because I know there are some star players in the Senegal team. Sadio Mane is Senegal's striker, he is a key player in the Liverpool team. Idrissa Gana Gueye and Abdou Diallo are playing at PSG. Bouno Sarr is a defender of Bayern Munich. With so many good players, I expect Senegal to win today's match.
Senegal made just three shots in the first half, none of which were on target. Cape Verde made no attack. They probably want to draw with zero goals.
Senegal takes the lead through Sadio Mané's goal during the second half. Senegal is an average team without Mane and Gueye. Despite having three shots in the first half, the Senegal team was unlucky with that first shot. There have been a lot of red cards issued by referees in this Afcon. VAR makes the game less physical! With VAR, the beauty of African city, where muscles talked more than skills, was destroyed! Isn't that so? You won! Congratulations.

Both, Egypt and Ivory Coast are strong teams on paper. Bookmakers see Ivory Coast in front by a bit.
If the bookmakers put the Ivory Coast team ahead, I would definitely bet on Egypt. I will take the risk, and if Egypt can win, I will benefit more. I bet on Egypt because Mohammed Salah is here. One of my favorite players is Salah

Senegal is still in the branch to the final for Tunisia. In fat they are probably the strongest team there now and should be watched. Today they should qualify against Cape Verde.
Senegal is not a weak team though. However, today they are not able to play well against Cape Verde. Cape Verde 10 players are playing but Senegal are not able to score a goal.

The 2nd game today is Morocco vs Malawi. Morocco should qualify here. The difficulty will await in the quarter finals ( the winner from the Egypt vs Ivory Coast match)
Morocco will win against Malawi. I think one is an easy choice. Morocco are the favorites in this match. I will bet on their victory.

I'm not an expert on the African football, but it seems to me that this tournament is totally unpredictable and the big favorites like Nigeria and Algeria didn't play very well.
You are definitely an expert when you say that AFCON games results are random and unpredictable Wink
Many expected Nigeria to win but surprise! Then Gambia passing Guinea! and Comoros annoying Cameroon... Can you imagine a team playing with 10 players almost the whole game, with no goalkeeper, even the poor defender that forced to be a goalkeeper due to covid touching all 3 officials goalkeeper, forgot many times to spread his arms to get the ball out from the goalie... Yet they managed to lose with only 2 goals to 1... Shamefull result for Cameroon vs a broken team. What's incredible is to see Cameroon boys and officials celebrating when they scored vs a s broken club. I saw so many people respecting Comoros and blaming leaders for running this pity event. I assume even FIFA want to forgot it as soon as possible..
Now we have to see when Senegal will score, 50 minutes passed and still no goals.

It seems that this tournament has produced a lot of red cards from yesterday's match to today's match, maybe it's because the tension is getting higher in this round of 16. With this one red card in the first half for Cape Verde and I think it's clear, Senegal will continue their good trend of dominating head to head. It's a shame Cape Verde can't be so calm because with this lack of players it is certainly difficult for Cape Verde to continue to defend, because if the number of players is still balanced I'm pretty sure Cape Verde can win the match.

We are all the pieces of what we remember.
I think the reason Nigeria didn’t win against Tunisia is was because of the coach, he didn’t have enough tactics and ideas and I am sure he lack experience as well, he was very predictable and it was an easy job for Tunisia who just had to mark out the both wings because that is where almost all the goals Nigeria scored in the tournament came from. And in making substitutions he made a lot of mistakes and at the end of the day he lost. Although the end of the match was a bit promising because of the tension and the team knows they needed to get something that would have taken them to an extra time at least but it didn’t come.

You maybe right and i thought as well too,  right from the beginning of the AFCON Simon moses, Chukweze,  and kelechi has always been the men of the game which Nigeria always score. The Tunisia players were so hard on this men, they didn't give them chance. With this situation the Nigeria coach was supposed help to come with a strategy that would have been easy the players.

Actually, I think the match was good and quite enjoyable at least till the 66th minute.
Even though Tunisia scored at the 47th minute, for me the red card at the 66th minute actually killed the game otherwise if you look at the stats I think the match was really even.

The stats actually suggest that Nigeria was the better team in that match. But I think if Nigeria could have a little more shots on target and if they could avoid the red card they would have had a really good chance of getting something from that match.

I agree if comoros wins today all the ones who betted for it they gonna get huge profits the odds reached 160 versus 1.02 for cameron. And i won't really be surprised if comoros do it and beat cameroon because this competition is full of surprises and things are happening out of expectations.

My guess was correct. Cameroon won the match. I also won my bet. Cameroon had an easy choice in this match. But, no team is too strong in here. So there could be any result in the match. Comoros lost the match against Cameroon, but the match was quite enjoyable. Comoros did enough chests to score. Cameroon's goalkeeper Onana saved quite a bit. He made 6 saves. Onana contributed a lot to Cameroon's victory in this match.
Gambia, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Tunisia have already confirmed a place in the quarter-finals, so far the home team have progressed quite well and in the quarter-finals they will also face a relatively weaker team namely Gambia, apart from Egypt and Ivory Coast, in my opinion Cameroon is one of the strong candidates as a country that will be able to win and bring home the 2022 African Cup trophy.

Imagine my surprise when I multi bet yesterday and three "guaranteed" outcomes were not in my favor - Nigeria didn't win, Real didn't win, Arsenal didn't win  Grin
Today there are two interesting matches again, and again, like yesterday, the first one seems random, and the second one is like a guaranteed victory for Cameroon, but I'm not sure of anything anymore  Grin

who could have imagined that easy to predict games would turn into a nightmare, how the hell did nigeria lose in such a way?

how could real madrid not be able to beat a team like that?

How Arsenal couldn't win and couldn't even score 1 goal?

were surprising results in a negative way

Shit happens  Undecided

It really was an incredible event for these three outcomes to happen in a negative way. But I'm even glad that they happened in one of my multibets and not in three different ones. I hope I paid the black swans tax in full  Grin I wonder what was the coefficient of the multibet on these outcomes in the variant that occurred. Probably more than 20.

I support Gambia, because a player from my favorite football club plays for their national team.
Somehow Gambia managed to reach the quarter-final,despite their defensive play and the lack of quality players.
I guess that they also had a lot of luck.
I also think that the north African teams like Egypt and Tunisia with get to the semi-finals,or even the final.
I'm not an expert on the African football, but it seems to me that this tournament is totally unpredictable and the big favorites like Nigeria and Algeria didn't play very well.

It is unbelievable  that Cameroon will win Comoros
The match ended with 2:1 Cameroon vs Comoros
So we are now waiting for semi finals and finals

Yes, it was a surprise to every viewers that Cameroon won the match at last with 2:1 for the favour of Cameroon. I believe Cameroon will learnt from their mistakes by miss used their opportunity in the first half to score more than two goals. Now that they are about to face semi final, they need to improve in the areas of strategies so that they will be able to win the remaining matches. The next team they are meeting are strong team which will like to win Cameroon 2:0 without a goal from Cameroon.

My prediction is that Egypt will win today against Ivory Coast. And we can watch the semi-final match between Cameroon and Egypt. I would be happy to see the final match of Cameroon vs Egypt. But this is not possible.
The Tunisian team is very unpredictable. Their win against Nigeria was unexpected. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to the finals. Because the teams that are likely to be Tunisia's opponents are not very strong.

Cameroon goalkeeper needs some accolade, if not that the goalkeeper is good at what he does the match would have been a draw or Comoros would have won, because the made so many attempts in scoring Cameroon but the goalkeeper saved them apart from one. The match was very interesting one, Cameroon played a nice game.

So Nigeria is gone after Algeria, which team is favorite now? Looks like Senegal and Egypt have the lowest odds but we'll see if they can pass last 16 round. Ivory Coast is one of the heavy hitters here, one of them will be eliminated early. Aboubakar carried Cameroon and now they are in quarter finals. He already scored six goals in four matches, that's very impressive. I wish we still had him in Beşiktaş but he picked the big money, can't blame him though. He's earning six million Euro per year. He may finish the tournament as top goalscorer. Cameroon want this cup just like they won in 2017.

What's happening right now in this competition is really shameful for africa and especially cameroon with all the manipulations they doing every time against their opponents many people doesn't know what's happening behind the scenes so i don't recommend anyone to bet or waste money on this competition.
There is some analysis about what happened since the start of this competition

Cameroon's first-round opponent:

5 Burkina Faso players infected with covid virus and not allowed to play

Cameroon's second-round opponent:

8 Ethiopian players infected with covid virus and didn't play the match

Cameroon's second-round opponent

Most of cape verde's important players got infected with covid

Cameroon's opponent today also

Twelve Comoros players were infected and a new rules was introduced requiring those who had a negative analysis of an additional 5-day quarantine, a rule that suddenly appeared yesterday night to deprive the Comoros of its  only goalkeeper and they played with a player as a goalkeeper and even that they did a great match against cameroon.

All these infections are offset by 0 injuries on the part of Cameroon player. How is that possible. And do you see all this a normal and fair thing ?

This match was indeed a surprising match to me, because many people didn't expect such an offset to happen, but it makes us that give the super Eagle of Nigeria the full support and forgetting the strategy of football. It ended in favor of Tunisia with a lone goal, and that's football is either you win or you loose. I personally will be supporting the host community to get the trophy.

To be honest, I wasn't surprised by the loss. I think it happens every time in this tournament in recent years - the super eagles keep getting eliminated after some interesting performance(s). In some ways, we could say the best team lost yesterday because they lost their focus and underestimated tunisia's B-team. Nigeria was my choice to win the tournament but given the recent events and changes to the tournament, I've opted for Senegal.
