Morocco team has a tough game tomorrow against spain, they are the last african team standing but their performance in the group stage shows promise i think they can do something against spain since the spanish team has some weaknesses for example their defense is not that strong and their players are not experienced so i think morocco has a chance at getting past them.

A big congratulations to Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Cameroon. Morocco is the only Africa country left. Even if this teams are not able to reach the finals, their performance was not poor all through the match they played, they represented their country well in the world cup.

Among the two African countries that are remaining, I am believing Morocco to qualify for the next round than Senegal. This is because England this year is better than Spain. Moreover Spain didn't have a very easy ride during the group stage. They at a point was not about to crash out . This doesn't mean I'm undermining any country. Anyone can advance including the Senegalese

I believe things would have been different if sadio Mane was to be in the match, atleast their would have been more goals that can lead them a long way in the world cup but all the same I give credit to Senegal, their performance was impressive. Although I had so much confidence that Senegal would at least progress to the quarter finals but it turned out wrong. They played well but the Three Lions outclassed them in all areas. The English team proved that they were more formidable and well experienced. Sadio Mane would have added more power to the attack of the Lions of Teranga but its sad that injury sidelined him. The Senegalese Football Association should not sack coach Aliou Cissé because he didn't perform badly with his team. He should the given the opportunity to build a stronger team.

The recent round of sixteen matches have be won by more established teams. We have not seen any surprise from any lowly rated team. Morocco is the only African team that could raise the banner of the continent. Spain is the favorite but, it is possible to see a miracle today.

Well, I reason it as well because of his experience in the world of football, although his absence did not have too much of an effect on the team during the group stage matches. In any competition, when it comes to the knockout stage, it is tougher than the group stage matches in which experience is required, and that is exactly what the England team has and helps them win the match, if not we can all see that Senegal played very well in the game, if Sadio Mane was present yesterday it could have been a different story I am sure.Quote

Couldn't agree more, And even if Harry Maguire throws himself everywhere, all I know is that Southgate using other players to protect and do some more defensive job for Harry Maguire. He's a problem to any team and squad he's innit. Football really has evolved, every single defender should learn to defend for himself. He's no typical Manchester United defender, lack of pace he's got is a big drawback to United.

I knew it would be doomsday for Senegalese National Side, even with Sadio Mane, the quality and talents in this young English player's can't be matched by Senegalese really. At least they came this far. And I'm grateful I've been tesm Senegal till this moment.

I just want to put it out here that I am so proud of the Senegalese team. I expect them to win 2-1. And even if they end up losing I wouldn't be disappointed. They put out a really dogged fight in this tournament and they have made Senegal and Africa super proud. Fingers are crossed, let's see what the first half holds.
I am not expecting a win from the Senegalese team all i need is a good game even if the lose out from the world cup after their game with England it should be that England didn't find it easy. If Senegal can win England it will be a big celebration for Africans, It will be to me as if they won the world cup.legendary

As it is now England 2- 0 Senegal. And England is still pressing to score and finally they have scored the set goal
The match ended in a 3:0 score and the winner goes to England, though a bit disappointed at the way the game turned out, but in sincerity and reality, Senegal beating England in this match would have been a big shock and surprise to many, so I honestly do not judge the Senegal team, they did their best, England we all know is a powerful team and can't be compared to Senegal, and even to add that Mane, which the major player in thr Senegalese team wasn't in the game.So I would say congratulations to England for winning the Match, and also congrats to Senegal, they did their best just that the best they did wasn't good enough.

Also Cameroon winning Brazil, that's another achievement as it looks unreal, they done us prove.
Cameroon did us proud, and like almost all the Africa countries did in this world cup. It is not easy to play at the world stage from leagues that are characterized by bribe for selection. We heard the bribe accusation against the Cameroonian FA. This was why I said we should not call any African team disgraceful when the tournament started with just a game played and most of them did not get victory. Who would have believed Cameroon would defeat Brazil. Everybody wrote them off and gave the game to Brazil. Just like Saudi defeated Argentina in an upset, the same miracle Cameroon performed against Brazil. It is an upset.

Senegal is on it again, they are playing well against England. Anyone bet against England is finished. England is going to win the match. England just score a goal. But Senegal can perform a miracle to win the game. England is having good shots, Senegal might draw the game but that is probability because England now is oppressing Senegal. Senegal is a good team and they have an experienced coach. When I saw their line up and formation, I knew they know what they are doing. Senegal play 4-5-1 in order to choke the defence and frustrate England. For them to be hopeful is that they shouldn't conceive 1st half. This is what Ghana was supposed to do, but they went and conceived 2 goals in the first half.
I pray for Senegal to succeed this night and make Africans proud and make Mane Happy.

I am seeing that Senegal wins the poll proposed in this thread, Morocco also has a good chance and in fact I think that its chances are better than Senegal, luck for the African teams, on this side of the world we believe that we will have two teams in the top 8 that Surely if they advance they will have a match between them (semifinals), a world cup classic.

I am afraid that Spain didn't show its full potential yet and managed to end second (I know it is only a conspiracy theory for some, so I will not argue with that). Now whether it was the case or not, I would like to see them getting the first plane to Spain soon after the game ends 
Morocco has a historical chance to advance and they shouldn't waste it! Senegal chances is low but I still prefer to see them winning. We will see how the game will be soon.
