someone was blaming Abubakat where I was that he shouldn't have removed his clothes after scoring Brazil. Vincent Aboubakar celebration by taking off his jersey after scoring a goal against Brazil was very emotional. The next world cup would be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico. And FIFA is considering expanding the teams to 48 instead of the normal 32 teams. The group stage of competition would consist of sixteen groups with three countries in a group. Instead of the normal round of sixteen after the group stage, there would be a new knockout stage called the round of 32.

The main reason for this innovation is to give more countries the opportunity of participating in the world cup. Only Cameroon, Senegal and Ghana have gotten to the quarter finals of the world cup and no African team had reached the semi-finals. Hopefully Morocco or Senegal might break that jinx.

This is really the first time hearing that there will be changes at the 2026 World Cup with Africa having more representatives, namely 9, then will the representatives from other continents decrease or will the competition system change? I've always been one of those people who are looking forward to how African teams play because they show something different from Europe or America and dare to say Asia is slightly below them but in this World Cup Asia has impressed.
If Senegal can make it to the semi-finals then that would be great and would be the first for a team from Africa if I'm not mistaken.

Another game have got my eyes one would be Morroco versus Spain honestly. It's a good bet for one to bank on Morroccan against Spanish sides. I have carefully watched them last game, they're good technically on the ball and off the ball, do you also think that would make sense ?
Maybe, going for a first half draw would be a peng Idea mmhh ?!

Aboubakar! Officially becomes the First African to help the first African side to win Brazil national side in the history of the FIFA World Cup. The celebration/ double card Bookings which lead to the red car got me smiling and a lil bit emotional.

The performance of African countries in this world cup is great. 2 out of 5 qualified but all the 5 countries were remarkable even if some didn't qualify. Morocco top their group. Tunisia defeated the world  champions which is France, Cameroon won Brazil. It is a nice outing for African countries and it is nice for FIFA to increase their slot because some other good African countries didn't qualify like  Nigeria, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Mali and more of them.

This is one of Africa's best performance in the World Cup. Critics of the policy to include nine African teams in the next tournament are in great shock. All the African teams that were knockout of the competition at the group stage were best losers. Everyone of them deserved to be at the round of 16 and they would have made it to at least the quarter finals. This is because they defeated many world class teams, imagine Cameroon defeating the best national team in the world Brazil. They became the first African team to beat the Seleção Canarinho. The beauty of the match was that the indomitable lions were outstanding in the match. Morocco also defeated the second best national team in the world Belgium.

Giving Africa more slots would even improve the quality of the world cup because African teams have really improved. These critics will still get more proofs why African teams deserves an increased slot when Morocco or Senegal gets to the Semi-finals  .  

For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we will be having a minimum of 9 teams from the CAF (compared to 5 this time). There was a lot of criticism, when FIFA first announced this a few years ago. A lot of people were arguing that the quality will go down. Those who made the argument are silent now, after witnessing the exceptional performance from African teams this time. Not a single one among the 5 CAF participants disappointed their fans. All of them - Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon and Ghana had their moments this time in the world cup.

I liked the football of Mohammed Kudus in the Uruguay match. I hope he continues his good football and we will have the opportunity to watch him for many years. I think people who bet a game for Cameroon to beat Brazil are few, no one ever thought Cameroon will win Brazil because Brazil is a tough team that always defeat any team they play with, but it will definitely be a big win for who were in support of Cameroon to defeat Brazil. Cameroon defence was so tense that Brazil couldn't see a goal to score. Tonight Cameroon has made a big history as the first Africa nation to defeat Brazil.

Another big win for people who bet on Cameroon and a big win for the team, but unfortunately they will not be able to progress in this competition even though they have done something that many would not have imagined, which is win the favorites by a goal, and being the first team to score Brazil in this world cup. First of all the coach should have selected the exact team that played against South Korea but with a revengeful heart he decided to bring in fast players.

Secondly the players were eager to score and where just running around leaving spaces for Uruguay to capitalise. Partey and Baba Rahman are sincerely there worst players of the tournament.

South Korea actually qualified due to scoring more Goals than Uruguay if not they were tie on goal difference. Let's hope Cameroon can produce a shocker and beat Brazil to qualify
