After losing their first penalty in the game, which was supposed to give them the best chance of qualifying, Ghana began to lose to Uruguay. However, they were unable to do so, and Uruguay was able to capitalize on their first two opportunities to win the game. Will Ghana be able to contribute in the second half? , they must tie the score or even win the game if they want to qualify, failing which they will once again have to bid the world cup farewell.

Ghana have a better chance to qualify than Uruguay because a draw will see them through if South Korea and Portugal match ends in a draw. But it seems the Uruguay team have outclassed the Ghanaian side. The are controlling the game and have also created more opportunities than the Ghanaian side. It would be a great disappointment to Africa if Ghana fail to win this match because I expect at least three African teams to make it to the second round. Three African teams in the second round would boast the continent's chances of reaching the semi-finals which is my personal target.

The Ghanaian is not showing any sign that this second half would be a better one. The technical team should change strategy because Ghana needs to score goals.

Okay that was some shocker, isn't Belgium among the world best nations and also known as the golden generation yet Morocco was able to top that group and they got knockout of the competition. I guess Lukaku not been inform did contribute to their poor form at the world cup this year and the golden generation are becoming old.
Well  as you said it was really a shocker but am not surprised because the so called golden generation of the Belgium team has been struggling ever since their first game against the Canadian, its just like you said the habit to score wasn't just there due to the poor form of their striker and they manage to secure a win over canada with a goal from batshauyi and ever since they have struggled to score. But that's why football is really interesting because you can never actually be certain of the winner of a match till after the 90mins whistle.  African football at the moment is also going through an evolution with the way the countries from Africa are not afraid of playing the ball anymore and most players in their teams now have huge experience playing in Europe top leagues, their style of play has really evolve and this Moroccan team are really good so it wasn't a shocker for me

Belgium, Costa Rica, Canada and Germany have been kicked out from the on going world cup. While Spain, Japan, Morocco and Croatia qualified to the next round 16. African teams are trying at this stage of the world cup. It is remaining Ghana and Cameroon hat wl play this evening to qualify. I strongly believe that Ghana will qualify but not really sure of Cameroon of the their qualification to the next round 16.
Moroco team had a deserved win yesterday they have been in my opinion the best african team in this world cup i think its majorly thanks to their good defense and surgical attack, i agree that ghana has a good chance qualifying they just need to avoid losing today, cameroon team will likely leave the world cup they need a big win against brazil which i doubt is possible plus their fate is not in their hand if switszerland win today they will automatically be eliminated.

Ghana have been really impressive since I started watching their game, and they are showing the world that they are not just an easy side to be beaten like that, and I am very  much sure that they will do everything within their power to qualify to the next round.
Indeed Ghana and Cameroon have really made Africans proud. If the both teams should qualify to the next round,it will really be a massive step up by African countries.
The stage that there will be massive test is the round of sixteen which they are about to enter into.

Tunisia win wasn't enough to see them qualify as Australia has seen themselves winning twice in the world Cup, Denmark got me wowed, as they couldn't win a single game.
I am under the impression that France did not see this game as completely important, so did not go all out to win the game. However it has gone done on record that Tunisia defeated the defending champions France although the win was not enough to see them to the next round. Funny twist is that these Tunisian team started very well and looked more promising to qualify from their first game than even Senegal that has made qualification.

Which African team do you think will go the farthest in this world cup?

I'll say Senegalese. I don't know how they want to do it but deep inside of me, I really want to see them knock England out of the FIFA World Cup. They might not be very decisive and precise in attack, so the best strategy to England a side that attack's very well is to close down the lines and be very compact then, hit them with counter attack's.

Harry Maguire remains a big problem, I know England and Southgate plays to his strength, if they can operate on his position very well, with a player that has pace then, That so call defense can be broken and opened up.

I haven't watched more than a single game our Morroccan brothers must have played already but I know how technically good they can play, as they keep the ball down playing organise football, They both are my pick, ( Senegal and Morroco honestly )

Morocco has been performing very well since the start of the World Cup. They have been playing consistently well and have emerged as group champions. But I would have been happy if they hadn't been group champions. Being group champions, they are going to face Spain in the knockout round. Spain is a very strong and experienced team. It will be very difficult for Morocco to beat Spain. However, if Morocco were to qualify for the next round as runners-up, they would face Japan. Japan is a slightly weaker team compared to Spain.

I would rather not go in to all these permutations and combinations. If Morocco is good enough to defeat Belgium by such a large margin, then they definitely do have the capability to defeat Spain. Japan would have been easier opponents on paper. But don't forget the fact that they defeated two of the strongest teams in this world cup - Spain and Germany. Anyway, this world cup has been extremely good for the underdogs. And it also justifies the decision by FIFA to expand the world cup to 48 teams, by including more teams from CAF and AFC.
Football is something we can't believe or reply on, Morocco can defeat a country you feel that is big enough for them to defeat that doesn't mean that small country will not defeat them. In normal circumstances Morocco is trying well but i think that they will not survived with Belgium Because is playing perfectly well, but upon that i know that Belgium will defeat Morocco, but the match is going to be tough and interesting both team are making well.

I already knew that this world cup is not for underdogs. Morocco has been performing well but according to you, if they were able to beat Belgium with 2 to 3 goals, it will be a great signal that they can proceed more than the next stage. Another hardluck is facing Spain. The Spanish team are younger boys with alot of strength than the old boys of Belgium. If Morocco wants to win against Spain, they should step up their games and they should all have the spirit of Zeyich.

Morocco win against Canada wasn't a surprise though considering the last time this two met, Canada got disgraced 4:0 although it was a friendly which players don't take seriously but still it goes to show how superior Morocco is to Canada and this reflected on this world cup game. Morocco now plays Spain in the knockout stages which is very frustrating but I believe Morocco can also pull another shocker as African teams are becoming very impressive in the tournament.

Morocco won and officially joined Senegal in the Knockout phase. We will see if Ghana and Cameroon could follow them.

Morocco did impressed me and I'm glad they were able to qualify. Theirs game against Canada was one of the easiest I have seen so far for from an African nation. In just 3 minutes of play, Morocco was able the take the lead with a brilliant goal from Hakim ziyech.

Honestly, Morocco are the least side I also expected to qualify from a group with Belgium and Croatia in it, I must admit that I am amazed by their performance and even knocking Belgium out and the best part of it is that that finished top of the group I just can't believe this. I am so proud of them and will be watching their games from now on. I think they will be playing against Spain in the next round which I'm not so sure about the outcome lol.
Morocco is performing well in this tournament of world cup in Africa, but the only way or place i have seen that Morocco will have a very big challenge of surviving or coming out from the group is with this Belgium, so therefore if Belgium win crotia it will be difficult for Morocco to defeat Belgium, but the process whereby crotia defeat Belgium, theirs hope for Morocco to be quality for knock out, i believe that Belgium won't allow crotia to defeat them.

Morocco is likely to play against Spain in the knockout stage since Germany couldn't qualify
I really thought  that it would have been Germany and Spain to go through, but Japan today have shown that Spain is a beatable team, and Morocco have a chance if they can defend well, so spain don't find a way through, control the midfield, because we know that's where Spain is strongest and then make full use of any opportunity they can create, because it will count. We look ahead to Cameron and Ghana.

It's amazing to see how Morocco has represented Africa with pride at the world cup. They did a fantastic job on their group stage. Winning Belgium and now Canada. I was expecting a draw match but here I am with the surprise result of Morocco's victory over Canada. It's like a bombshell that nobody anticipated will witness on how Morocco will top their group. If Morocco continues to put on plays like these, I will be happy to tell you that the world cup will most likely come to Africa as the winner of the Qatar 2022 world cup.
Do not be deceived. Canada is not that good. Lol. Weren't they even looking for their ever first win in the world cup (it has never won or drawn any world cup match)?
But still credit goes to Morocco, Africa seems to be well represented this time round. Let's wait and see if Senegal and Cameroon can pull it off as well tomorrow

Morocco has already scored two early goals and is currently the leading team in group F, so they may soon join Senegal as the second African nation to qualify for the round of 16 of this 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Because of the teams in the group, Morocco is one of the African nations I least expected to advance from their group, but they are about to shock the world by doing so and knocking either Belgium or Croatia out.

Leo is resting.
Morocco is one of the African nations I least expected to advance from their group, but they are about to shock the world by doing so and knocking either Belgium or Croatia out.
There will be lots of celebration in Rabat the capital city and other cities in Morocco, the country has not made it to the round of 16 in the world cup for a very long time, just qualifying for the round of 16 is a big achievement for the team, and they did it in style without loosing any game, one of the few teams with that record in this world cup. Morocco will play against the second team that qualifies from Group E, which is looking most likely like Germany.

The celebration started with the Moroccan fans as they were seeing singing different kinds of music when they were 2 goals ahead of Canada. This is the best outing for Morocco so far in the history of the world cup and I believe they will go far in this competition if they continue with this good performance.

Morocco is likely to play against Spain in the knockout stage since Germany couldn't qualify for the knockout stage even though they won 4:2 against Costa Rica. We hope they keep improving even as they finished first in the group F with a total of 7 points, four goal scored, and just one goal against, a record they never had since the history of the world cup.

I don't think Deschamps underestimated France's opponent, it's just that first place was guaranteed for France so he wasn't worried about the outcome of this game at all. In fact, this is very sad, since it is dishonest from the point of view of sports principles (the team that plays with a demotivated opponent in the last round obviously has an advantage) and does not give a damn about the fans.
Unfortunately it was the case. Imagine 5 minutes after the goal, Deschamps made 3 substitutions at the same time, including Mbappe, then 10 minutes later he added Griezmann then Dembele. Half the team was changed in like 15 minutes after the goal. It is true that he was confident that his team will win or get even a draw but that goal surprised the French team. Anyway that was a lesson for them.

Well no... applying such reasoning, we can conclude that the League of Nations was a super important tournament for Deschamps, but the teams of Denmark (LOL) and Croatia were head and shoulders above the French team. We all know that yesterday's game was optional for France and they didn't care about the result.
