Time flies so fast indeed. Yet the effects of Covid-19, this pandemic is too hard to forget especially that we experience this kind of event.

I honestly belittle Covid-19 way back it started last November 2019 for the reason that pandemics and its effect years ago before are far different from today. We already have advanced medical technologies and development today which made me think that it will not worsen as time passes by. Glad we also have the modern social media with the main media spreading the news and precautions for everyone. Even cases reached more than millions, it is still to be thanked that the mortality rate is very little but still we should need not to be care-free and still be vigilant in our surroundings.

In this pandemic, I realized that no one is above, even the greatest people, or even the greatest countries was affected and there economy is weakening. Financial Assets like Gold, Foreign Exchange Currencies, Crude Oil, even the whole cryptocurrency market was affected with that.

It's unprecedented in our lifetimes, so not understanding exactly what it means or requires to survive in a pandemic is understandable at first. You have to adapt quickly. These people who have refused to acknowledge reality are the real problem. I suppose it's only because it's not more lethal that these people can afford to be so stupid in terms of denying it exists or that it's a problem that needs to be addressed.

Covid -19 has already been going on for one year, of course this has had a tremendous impact on all sectors,
of course the most impactful is the financial sector, all stock prices are still experiencing a decline and recovery,
but good things have happened to cryptocurrencies, Crypto currency has survived the pandemic this time around,
it's been an impressive performance 1 year for cryptocurrencies.

There is a long way to go before the vaccine has reached enough people to make a difference, probably 6-12 months in the most easily-reached populations and longer for those that aren't easily vaccinated.  On top of that, we don't know yet if the vaccine will give us lasting immunity or if populations will continue to be vulnerable to variations of the virus like the flu every year where despite vaccines, mutations in the flu virus still infect millions of people every year.  Bottom line is we're not close to returning to normal life like pre-covid.

Today the authorities in the United Kingdom announced that they will start the mass vaccination program from next week onward. The richer countries have already made their pre-order for the vaccines and within a short period they will be able to secure enough doses to vaccinate their priority populations. Most of the developing nations are yet to make such orders. They will continue to suffer from increasing number of new infections and deaths.

I don't mean to be abrasive but perspective I feel perspective is necessary. I wouldn't want to have a world view that includes all of a sudden being shocked by the worlds ills because the main stream media put on a death clock like it were the super bowl.

I'm not saying SarsCov2 doesn't exist. It does, but so did the thousands of contagious and deadly virus's during years past that have gone by.

TLDR: You got played. Your fear is the tool that they are using to institute radical societal change. Pharmaceutical companies lead by Bill gates are the new weapons manufacturing industry that ruled the past century. All imo of course.

Now that there is already a vaccine , could it be the end of covid- 19 virus? How are you after one year of covid-19 pandemic?

This year 2020 has been a really tough year for me.  I am studying and also just working so I really need work to keep my education.  Unfortunately, Covid - 19 arrives at the end of the year and ICO projects are also hit hard.
As a result, the bounty campaigns died as well, the projects stopped and I was not being paid any tokens.  Currently I owe a lot of debt from my friends and just hope the bull run 2020 will last longer so I can make money to pay off the debt. Cry

After all the sufferings caused of this virus, we are still striving to overcome and go back to our normal daily lives. But sadly that everything has change and we are currently in a new normal where all are still taking some health protocol in order to avoid the spreading of virus and become affected of it.

Its still really scary to move around specially when you are living in a third world country with a government that is not launching out any plans and have to just wait for the vaccine which is probably expensive. The vaccine can only mitigate the current effects of the virus but it still can turn into something greater even after the vaccine so we should really adopt things that would turn our world into a more clean and hygienic place.

To date, there is no vaccine to kill the covid virus. It’s all just discourse. But if it’s not wrong, the Chinese government has issued that vaccine, but I don’t know for sure if it’s a vaccine that can kill the covid virus. Because a lot of countries don’t buy that vaccine. And my country hasn’t bought the vaccine either. I don’t know about your country, does it buy it too?
There is no vaccine to kill corona virus? You might be wrong because I heard in multiple articles that the vaccine has already been made and tested and now just the distribution is what is taking time. Not sure which vaccine China has made but there are several in the market and countries need to decide which one they want.

I really want to get it over with this pandemic fast.
I know man and I am sure everyone is tired and frustrated with the virus prevailing for so long and nothing working against it. When corona was not there I used to feel life was so boring but now I wish those days are back because now I realize how beautiful those times were.

Maybe? Maybe not? because not all of the countries have the power to avail the vaccine in the market, those third world countries. That's why COVID-19 will not end quickly as what you're thinking, without all of us getting vaccinated by the successfully made vaccine, COVID-19 will still roam around us. Slowly, we're looking forward to our victory of surviving this pandemic after a year already, thankfully the vaccine didn't take that long to be make by our dear scientist and frontliners.

After a year of covid 19 things have changed, people are also gradually adapting to the online working environment. The vaccine still takes a long time to spread around the world, but signs of recovery are evident. The successful cryptocurrency market beyond our expectations, bitcoin had a successful year of recovery.

I cannot imagine it's been a year now since corona virus hit the humanity that had taken so many lives all over the world and created an anxiety to people and mass hysteria. This pandemic had taken our freedom to socialize and go out in the public with our family and friends but it's understandable that these protocol are for our own good and safety is the main concern since the beginning of these lockdowns. Coming next year there will be light to shine upon to us because there is vaccine already been developed and ready to deploy next year and all these will be over soon.

So the thing is - covid has a lot of "variations" to it and there were occasions when one person got diseased with it twice.
One vaccine won't cure it once and for all, thus the battle is not over... yet

Hmm i can't 100% agree with your statement which means indirectly practice social distancing and strictly following the health protocol is not effective. I learn a much knowledge from my friend who lives in Melbourne Australia. He said that the place where he live is currently spreading virus with 0 cases due to regulation of government to be brave to do lock down the region about 8 month and the people there are aware to following the health protocol strictly.

So, other countries should follow what Melbourne (Australia) has done to overcome the spreading of the virus.

Lockdowns and other measures were successful in Australia, because the citizens are mostly law abiding. But the case was different in most of third world nations. The problem with this pandemic is that it can't be contained even if 99% of the people follow the strict orders for social distancing. It needs 100% compliance, and that is difficult when we have significant numbers of anti-socials in our society.

Hoping to get back to normal now, I've seen that cases here in SEA are getting lower except for Indonesia.

That one-year pandemic has a lot of influence and changes in our lives. Some people learned too much while others are suffering. Many have lost their jobs and people are risking their lives to be able to buy food. I've also seen in the news that there's a vaccine already and I hope that they mass produce it so everyone can be immuned now.
Indonesia's highest death rate (Asean). even so, Indonesia
already getting ready by forging four partnerships to get the vaccine.
if you want to find examples of countries that are said to have successfully overcome Corona, then we can learn from New Zealand. this country because it is able to make firm and fast decisions. The small island nation has been implementing a lockdown since March 26, 2020, before there was a single death case due to Covid-19. and now it is almost a year, it is likely that a country that is still unable to overcome the outbreak will rely on vaccines as a solution

Vaccination is really the top option to contain the virus. Because even if we practice social distancing and strictly following health protocols, still the infection will always be there. So to get the immunity from this virus, one should get a vaccine shot. However, it will not be immediately available to everyone. But I believe this coming year, we will have more vaccines to choose from. I hope by the time that it will reach to our community, it is not expensive so everyone can afford to have one.
