This AI case seems a little weird, it's a newbie account, possibly an alt dropping accusations against the casino Shuffle.com

User: honestworld

Given the nature of your responses, it strongly feels like you might have a personal interest in defending Shuffle. While I understand the importance of a thorough investigation and fair treatment, the lack of existing complaints about Shuffle could simply be due to the platform's low user base. This isn't necessarily indicative of a clean record but rather a reflection of limited exposure and engagement.

As for Cam, the serious allegation regarding his enjoyment of others' suffering and his handling of addiction issues still stands. It's critical to address these concerns transparently. Whether or not he has been formally accused or investigated, the patterns of behavior reported by users suggest a profound lack of empathy and respect for player well-being.

If you are confident in the integrity of Shuffle and Cam, I invite you to provide evidence to clear these serious allegations. The community deserves transparency and accountability, especially when it comes to potential exploitation and unethical behavior.

Additionally, considering the myriad of opportunities within the crypto space, it's perplexing and concerning that Noah would choose to be involved in one of the darkest and least legal aspects of the industry. Why take this path when there are so many legitimate and positive ventures available?

The community's vigilance and proactive inquiry into these practices are crucial, especially as Shuffle.com continues to grow. Ensuring that such behavior is called out and addressed early can prevent further harm and foster a more ethical and transparent environment.

I understand that previous employment should not necessarily tarnish one's future career, but Noah Dummett’s involvement with FTX during its collapse raises valid concerns. The scrutiny is not just about his past job, but whether there are problematic practices being carried over to Shuffle.com. It's essential to ensure transparency and ethical practices, especially after such a significant scandal.

Regarding aliases, it's common in the industry to use pseudonyms for various reasons. However, when key personnel involved in financial operations choose to remain anonymous, it can be a cause for concern. The issue here is not just the use of aliases but the complete lack of transparency about the individuals making critical decisions. This isn't about knowing their real names for casual purposes; it's about accountability and trust in those handling user funds.

You suggested contacting Noah directly or looking into company registries for real names, which is a fair point. Transparency can help alleviate some of these concerns. As for relying on the reputation of casinos, it's crucial to remember that reputations can be deceptive. Due diligence and proactive inquiry are necessary, especially when past associations and anonymity are involved.

It's not about raising alarms without cause but ensuring that Shuffle.com operates with the integrity and transparency expected in the crypto community. Yellow flags often go unnoticed until it's too late, so continuous vigilance is crucial.

We have already identified several key issues with Shuffle.com that raise serious concerns:

1. Suspect Financial Transactions:
   - We've found specific addresses involved in high-value transactions that appear suspicious. These include transactions of exactly 145.55447521 tokens, which repeat frequently and raise questions about potential money laundering activities.

2. Cam's Disrespectful Conduct:
   - Cam, one of the key figures at Shuffle.com, has shown a blatant disregard for the well-being of players, particularly those struggling with gambling addiction. It's deeply troubling that Cam's actions suggest he might even take pleasure in the suffering caused by addiction, which is morally reprehensible.

3. Secrecy and Lack of Transparency:
   - The use of aliases by key personnel, such as Cam and Brett, coupled with the complete lack of transparency about their identities, is highly suspicious. This secrecy prevents any form of accountability and trust in the platform's operations.

4. Potential Replication of FTX's Problematic Practices:
   - Given Noah's history with FTX, there is a significant risk that Shuffle.com might be using similar operational strategies that led to FTX's collapse. This includes questionable bonus systems and user fund management practices.

I want to add another issue regarding Shuffle.com, specifically related to Cam, one of the key figures operating under an alias. It's come to light that Cam's handling of people, particularly those struggling with gambling addiction, is not only disrespectful but downright harmful.

Gambling addiction is a serious issue that ruins lives and families. A responsible operator would take measures to help mitigate the risks, provide support, and ensure that players are treated with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case with Shuffle.com under Cam's influence. Reports and observations suggest that Cam has shown a blatant disregard for the well-being of players, prioritizing profit over people. Shockingly, it almost appears as though Cam takes pleasure in the suffering of those affected by addiction, which is more than deeply disrespectful – it is morally reprehensible.

This lack of respect extends beyond just ignoring addiction issues. It reflects a deeper problem in how Shuffle.com views and treats its user base. The use of aliases and the secrecy surrounding key personnel only adds to the suspicion that there is something fundamentally wrong with the way this platform operates.

We need to ask ourselves if we can trust a platform that allows such behavior. Transparency, accountability, and ethical practices should be the cornerstone of any gambling platform, especially one operating in the volatile world of crypto.

I urge the community to take this seriously and push for more transparency and ethical conduct from Shuffle.com. If you or anyone you know has been affected by the practices at Shuffle.com, please speak up. It's crucial that we hold these platforms accountable to protect the vulnerable and ensure a fair and respectful environment for all users.

I've noticed that the amount of AI content has significantly dropped the past few weeks, I haven't encountered anything for the past few days, which is possibly an indication that this thread has had a positive effect on the forum. Good job to everyone who has contributed.

I encountered one user today, who's using AI to promote their service, which I'm guessing isn't bad, nor is it spamming the forum, not sure if it's worth reporting.

User: FreshForex

Here's an example, but I believe that it could be considered "proper" use as it's not hurting anyone nor is it spamming.

Fundamental Market Analysis for August 2, 2024 USDJPY

Event to pay attention to today:

15:30 GMT+3. USD - Non-Farm Employment Change

USDJPY:

The USD/JPY pair is trading at approximately 149.40 during the Asian session on Friday, having rebounded from the four-month low of 148.50 recorded on Thursday. The increase in the USD/JPY pair can be attributed to the strength of the US dollar (USD), which can be attributed to a strengthening risk-off sentiment following the release of recent industrial production and employment data that raised concerns about the health of the US economy.

The US dollar (USD) is receiving support as markets remain in a fragile equilibrium. However, the economic slowdown is leading to growing expectations of a rate cut by the Federal Reserve. CME's FedWatch tool indicates that traders are fully aware of the possibility of a 25-basis-point rate cut on 18 September. Furthermore, market participants are awaiting the release of US non-farm payroll employment and average hourly earnings data for July, due later in the North American session.

The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for the US manufacturing sector, as reported by the ISM, reached an eight-month low of 46.8 in July, down from 48.5 in the previous month and below the projected figure of 48.8. The number of initial jobless claims in the US for the week ending 26 July increased to 249,000 from 235,000 the previous week, exceeding the forecasted rise to 236,000.

The Japanese Yen (JPY) received a boost following the Bank of Japan's (BoJ) decision to raise the discount rate to a 16-year high of 0.25%. The move, along with the BoJ's indication that further rate hikes may be necessary to meet economic demands, could result in a JPY appreciation. Market expectations now factor in two additional rate hikes before the end of the fiscal year in March 2025, with the next hike expected in December. This outlook could limit the potential for the USD/JPY pair to appreciate further.

Trade recommendation: Trading mainly by Sell orders from the current price level.

Any thoughts on this user? I'm getting mixed results, while their posts seem a little off. Copyleaks, Hivemoderation, GPTZero show high levels of AI content, but the whole posting style seems weird. Perhaps they're not 100% AI generated but parts of their posts are? No idea. On top of that, some posts are awkwardly similar.

Recreation of one of their posts (Number 3 and 4) are similar with ChatGPT's version.

Been thinking a lot about AI lately and how it's gonna shake things up. It's wild how fast this tech is moving, right?

We're seeing AI pop up everywhere - from chatbots to image generators. It's like we're living in a sci-fi movie sometimes! 😄 But for real, AI is gonna change the game in so many industries, especially content creation.

Speaking of which, I stumbled across this project called BiCity. It's doing some interesting stuff with AI and blockchain. They're building tools for creating articles, visuals, and even audio content using AI. Pretty neat how they're mashing up AI with blockchain tech.

What caught my eye is their focus on making content creation more efficient. As someone who's spent way too many hours staring at a blank page, I can definitely see the appeal! 😅

I'm curious to see how projects like this develop. Also will this impact jobs in creative fields? So many questions! Lets chat

I’ve been hearing a lot about SCRAT lately, though I haven’t followed the project closely. It seems to have gained attention and been listed on several exchanges. Despite its low market cap, I personally am not interested in it. The project I’m talking about is under ERC20, and it just got listed on Bitget exchange yesterday. I think it shows promise. Personally, I’m someone who takes risks; I’m prepared to lose any amount without feeling too bad about it, even though losing money is never ideal. In crypto, if you’re not willing to take risks, it might not be the right space for you.

What really caught my attention about this project is how active the community is in supporting it. If you check Twitter, you’ll see a lot of people talking about it and pushing the project forward. The volume and the number of holders also stand out to me. That’s why I’ve taken an interest in this project. I’ve already bought a medium-sized bag yesterday, and I’m hopeful it’ll yield good returns in the long run.

Hey folks, I've been thinking about this question lately and wanted to get your take on something.

So here's my issue with memecoins, aren't we just buying and selling hype to each other? The creators rake in the cash while everyone else is hoping to make a quick buck off the next sucker FOMOing in. Let's face it, most people don't make money, but a lucky few hit it big. It's basically gambling, but you know most of the $$$ is going to some devs trying to make bank off a useless token.

Now, I'm not saying I'm above it all, I'm hodling 3 memecoins myself 500M mcap - 1bn Mcap and eyeing another one (Mongy) today. But I'm curious what y'all think about those mid-cap memecoins in the 25M-100M mcap range. And what about the ones that manage to get listed on an exchange, even if it's just one? Are they still a total gamble? Any chance they could pull the rug?

TBH, I'm on the fence. Part of me thinks it's all a bit dodgy, but another part can't resist the potential gains. What's your take on these mid-tier memecoins? Are they worth a punt or should we steer clear?

Lemme know what you think! 🚀🌕

From innovative projects tackling real-world problems to unique tokens offering fresh takes on decentralized finance, it feels like there's always something new to discover.

I'm curious to hear from the community about the lesser-known tokens that you've come across recently and think have great potential. Additionally, I'm interested in knowing which crypto exchanges you find most reliable and why. Do they offer any unique features or token listings that set them apart?

Let's share our insights and perhaps uncover the next big thing together. Feel free to mention specific projects or exchanges, and let’s get a discussion going!

Looking forward to your thoughts and recommendations!

Joe Biden's unexpected withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race has created a significant opening for Donald Trump and the crypto community. With Biden stepping down amid concerns over his age and debate performance, the Democratic Party faces a scramble to find a new candidate just months before the election.

This shift could benefit Trump, who now has a clearer path to rally support against an uncertain Democratic nominee. For the crypto community, a new leadership dynamic may lead to fresh policies or regulatory changes, potentially impacting market sentiment and investment strategies as the election approaches.

How might Biden's exit and the resulting shift in leadership impact cryptocurrency regulations and market sentiment especially on altcoins?

Hey Guys!

Do you think now it's worth checking back those members who have been reported for using AI? I feel like only removing these posts from the forum isn't the end of this thread (even though that is all we can do), the success would be if some users change their posting habit after they receive some neutral feedback and get their posts deleted. Today, I was just scrolling and I did not have any plan to write any posts. Noticed that a user is neutrally tagged for using Chatbot, then I decided to check his recent posts, it seems they stopped using the chatbots. I felt good because it worked.

Just for "fun" (it took me almost 2 hours), I went back through the entire thread and came up with some statistics to see if its been working or not.

Of the 314 different accounts mentioned in this thread:

- 38% of them are still active ("active" defined as having posted at least once in the last 3 months)
- 20% are banned
- 42% are inactive

Of all non-banned accounts mentioned, 8% have at least one negative trust (3.5% are active and 4.5% are inactive).

Today I added neutral trusts for 9 of the worst, active offenders that didn't have feedback mentioning they were an "AI spammer" yet.

Here is a list of the still-active, non-red trust accounts; some may be worth taking a look at to see if they've been continuing to post AI spam:

(edit: I've stricken all the accounts that either haven't posted obvious AI-gen text or anything at all in the last two months, and bolded those who have -- those ones are the most worth revisiting)

It’s great to see you actively thinking about your investment strategy. You're right in observing that both long-term and short-term investing have their places in the crypto market, and each strategy suits different financial goals and risk tolerances.

You mentioned the volatility of cryptocurrencies, which is a crucial point. Bitcoin, like other cryptocurrencies, experiences price fluctuations that can be risky yet opportunistic for traders. Short-term trading can indeed capitalize on these fluctuations, potentially offering quicker returns, albeit with higher risk. It requires a keen eye on market trends, technical analysis, and sometimes luck play its part too!

On the other hand, long-term investing in Bitcoin has historically been rewarding for those who weathered the market's ups and downs. This strategy, often referred to as 'HODLing', derived from a misspelling of "hold", is based on the belief that despite its volatility, the value of Bitcoin will increase over the years. This approach requires patience and a stronger nerve to hold through potentially drastic dips in market value.

The key is to balance your portfolio according to what you can afford to risk and your financial goals. If you're starting and concerned about liquidity, it might be wise to allocate a smaller portion of your investment to frequent trading while keeping a more considerable part in a long-term hold. This way, you can potentially enjoy the best of both worlds—gaining some immediate returns on the short-term movements and building wealth over time as the market matures.

Remember, every investor's journey is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all strategy in crypto investing. It’s also valuable to continue educating yourself and perhaps even engage with experienced traders who can provide insights tailored to your situation.

When it comes to investing in Bitcoin versus stocks during a recession, Bitcoin could be a compelling option for several reasons.

First, Bitcoin is often considered a "decentralized" asset, meaning it's not directly tied to the economic performance of any single country or traditional financial systems. This can make it less susceptible to the same factors that might affect the stock market during a recession.

Additionally, some investors view Bitcoin as a "digital gold," a kind of safe-haven asset that can hold its value or even appreciate when traditional markets are struggling. However, it's important to remember that Bitcoin is still quite volatile, which means its price can change dramatically in a short period.

I've been diving into the latest advancements in the Layer 2 and 3 space, and two standout projects have really caught my attention: XAI and A8.

XAI is positioning itself as a decentralized gaming console for Web3, offering enhanced capabilities for game development with larger contract sizes and greater account abstraction. It's leveraging the Arbitrum Nitro technology stack, which is renowned for its efficiency in managing complex gaming applications. With significant backing from diverse investors, XAI is set to become a key player in the Web3 gaming industry.

On the other hand, A8 is focused on improving blockchain throughput and scalability more broadly. It utilizes the OP Stack to boost performance across various applications, including GameFi and beyond. A8 has also attracted major investors like Sequoia Capital and E1 Ventures and has recently made waves with its listing on tier 1 exchanges like BingX.

Both projects are making strides in their respective areas, with XAI targeting the gaming niche and A8 aiming for broad blockchain performance improvements. It's clear that both are positioned for significant impact, but it'll be fascinating to see which will emerge as the preferred platform for developers and users in the evolving blockchain space.

What are your thoughts on these developments? Will one of these projects dominate the Layer 2/3 landscape? Let’s discuss!

Hey BitcoinTalk community!

I just wanted to drop some exciting news about $BANANA, the token for the Banana Gun bot, which has been making waves in the crypto scene. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s up:

So, what’s $BANANA?
$BANANA is the token for Banana Gun, a trading bot that’s gaining a lot of attention. It’s packed with cool tools, like an ultimate sniper for early buys and custom on-chain limit orders (think take profit, stop loss, and limit buy). It’s basically a pro toolkit for traders!

Why’s it such a big deal?
Launched in early 2023, Banana Gun has been making a splash with its smart development plan. They’ve laid out a clear roadmap with 'now/next/later' phases, and they’re all about community input. This project has a solid vision and is open to feedback, which i think is awesome!

How does it work?
They’ve got this nifty Telegram bot that makes it easy to join crypto presales and manage trades. It’s designed to be super user-friendly and efficient, which is a big plus.

What’s with the NFTs?
Banana Gun got creative with their launch by using soulbound NFTs. Users had to complete tasks to earn these NFTs, which aren’t just rewards but also help filter out people who are only after freebies. These NFTs are key for getting whitelist spots and making sure the most dedicated supporters are recognized.

In a nutshell:
$BANANA has shown its worth, especially with its recent Binance listing. The project’s focus on innovation and community makes it stand out in the crypto world.

If you’re into trading or just curious about the latest in crypto, $BANANA and Banana Gun are definitely worth keeping an eye on. What do you think about $BANANA and its future? Let’s chat about it!

Should romor be reported for that or is there enough evidence aside from his admission?
"AI" is a hyped name for a language tool, and translation software has been around for decades. It's not forbidden to use on the English boards, only on local boards:
27. Using automated translation tools to post translated content in Local boards is not allowed.

the OP is just using AI to do translations (an unconventional yet reasonable employment of ChatGPT).
Agreed. As long as he wrote the original text by himself, it's not plagiarism. But it's also very easy to abuse: get a random text in a random language, machine-translate it, and post it.

Its good that he admitted it, although ideally they should make it clear from the beginning. As far as reporting is concerned, I only report posts where the poster has a clear monetary gain by using AI to make posts. In this case, perhaps its not worth reporting as the OP is just using AI to do translations (an unconventional yet reasonable employment of ChatGPT).

Nutildah, I know I'm not strictly following your rules for reporting AI-generated posts, but I came across a thread in which the OP admitted using AI as a tool to either translate from French to English or to smooth out (very well, I might add) his English.  I replied to and quoted his admission of using AI.

I haven't a clue as to romor's proficiency in English, but if he hadn't told on himself I would have mistaken him for a native English speaker.  We've all seen the results of translation programs and perhaps they've improved in the past few years, but I got a whiff of foolhardiness as soon as I saw a newbie writing a post as coherent as romor did.  Normally translator tools make some glaring mistakes, and that's why I didn't suspect it was just one of those.

Anyway, this shit is crazy.  I'm seeing a lot more newbies starting up threads, and a marked improvement in their writing skills.  For this forum, that's unheard of.

Should romor be reported for that or is there enough evidence aside from his admission?

@Ultegra134, I don't know what to conclude from a situation like this (and it's not the only one) when the user is given the opportunity to spam the forum with plagiarism and AI content for months without at least being punished with a temporary ban. As far as I can see the number of deleted posts is now 55, and BPIP still doesn't show that he is permanently banned - obviously we will have to report at least 100 posts for that to happen.

Just to be clear, I've reported him multiple times for plagiarism, so it's not just the use of AI.

Oh, didn't notice he had already been tagged. Bitcoin is gearing up for its next bull market, driven by key factors that highlight its growing significance in the financial world. Let's delve into these crucial aspects:

1. Institutional Demand

Institutional investors have shown increasing interest in Bitcoin, making substantial investments that underscore its status as a leading cryptocurrency. Their significant purchases, including recent acquisitions of hundreds of thousands of Bitcoins, highlight Bitcoin's potential as a scarce and valuable asset, surpassing even gold in stock-to-flow ratio.

2. Bitcoin and the Financial Landscape

Amidst faltering confidence in traditional financial systems, Bitcoin's value continues to rise. Influential figures like Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen express concerns over fiat currency stability, creating an environment where Bitcoin emerges as a viable alternative. As institutional investments merge with growing retail interest, a significant bull run for Bitcoin appears imminent.

3. Cultural Shift Towards Bitcoin

Beyond financial implications, Bitcoin represents a cultural shift towards decentralized finance, offering unparalleled autonomy and security. Embracing Bitcoin mirrors the transformative impact of the internet, revolutionizing how people view and use currency.

In the event of such a crisis, whether Bitcoin could emerge as a global currency would depend on several factors:

Trust and Adoption: Bitcoin's adoption as a global currency would hinge on whether people and institutions trust it as a reliable store of value and medium of exchange.

Infrastructure and Scalability: Bitcoin's current scalability limitations would need to be addressed to handle global transaction volumes effectively.

Regulatory Environment: Governments and regulatory bodies would play a crucial role in shaping the legal framework and acceptance of Bitcoin as a mainstream currency.

Market Dynamics: The stability of Bitcoin's price and its ability to withstand market volatility would influence its adoption as a widely used currency.

while Bitcoin offers decentralized control and limited supply, its volatility and current adoption primarily as a speculative asset pose significant challenges to becoming a universally accepted currency.

I agree with you that sound financial management requires a balance between investing and building emergency or backup funds. Investments like Bitcoin can be tempting to try for quick savings, but maintaining financial stability and security through backup funds is crucial. This approach may slow down savings, but it provides a safety net in times of emergency, ensures long-term success and protects against investment volatility. Patience and backup funds are key to a sustainable and safe investment strategy.

Post #3 (a few spaced added after periods, between sentences)

"Buy the dip & hold" is a popular investment strategy in the cryptocurrency market as well as traditional financial markets. The basic idea behind this strategy is to buy assets at low prices and take advantage of price declines or recessions by holding them for the long term. Buying the dip allows investors to purchase assets at prices lower than their recent highs. This can potentially increase the overall return on investment if asset prices rebound later. Holding assets over the long term, even during market downturns, allows investors to benefit from the potential growth of assets over time. By sticking to the "buy the dip and hold" strategy, investors can avoid making emotional decisions based on short-term market fluctuations. This can help reduce panic selling tendencies during market downturns, which often lead to losses.
"Bye the dip & hold" can also be combined with dollar-cost averaging where investors regularly buy a fixed dollar amount over time regardless of price. This can help smooth out the effects of market volatility and potentially lower the average purchase price over time. Buying the dip and holding assets is aligned with belief in the long-term fundamentals of the asset. It implies confidence in the underlying technology and the potential for future adoption and growth.

Cryptocurrencies, in particular, have shown significant growth over the years, making them attractive for long-term holding strategies. I love this strategy and always suggest it to everyone.

Futures trading carries significantly higher risk compared to spot trading. With futures, you can potentially lose your entire investment, while spot trading typically limits losses to your initial investment. Setting stop-loss orders in futures trading may seem like a way to prevent losses, but you might hit multiple stop-losses until your position is liquidated.

I agree that investing in altcoins needs more research. It's smart to be careful. Although, some altcoins are less risky and easier to understand.
