The whole idea of airdrop is actually wrong, like how could a token or a coin could ever be good when there is so many people who get it for free and never worked for it or did anything about it. You can't just give your money away for free and assume people will find it valuable, people would never really care about a currency that was literally given to them for free, they wouldn't respect the currency all that much.
I personally think that people should be stopping with airdrops and at least create some sort of small funding phase where it is just like 10 thousand dollars or so goal, even that would be better than giving it away for free. You can do bounty stuff to get it if you want but that is still not good enough as long as nobody spends any money on it.

On the other hand if you can actually get some use for the airdropped tokens (buy free merchandise or even donate it) I would definitely say it is not a scam. Most recent airdrop I participated in was Bittorrent:) That one lets you get faster download speeds on torrents!

i believe this one they just want to increase follower and subscribers in thier social media which they can also be benifited for long term.For other marketing they can offer to that channel and paid for that advertisement.

agree with your opinion that airdrop will reward you with a small value, but actually it is appropriate because it is in accordance with the work we have done. the important thing is still to get the prize that we deserve to do and of course is not to follow the airdrop scam. because airdrop is very risky with a scam and it is enough to make things not good.

If it is a matter of scam today we cannot be denied that it is indeed real and exists, not only in airdrops. but the point that I have ever participated in is that the rewards are not large but are actually worth the work given because it is very easy. airdrop is worth following because if it's not a scam.
small reward are okay as long as its not scam and it already come to your mouth that airdrops are only easy to do .
scam or not scams its stil fine , unlike to other scam projects that you are paying and you have done tremendious effort . airdrop is not necesary to do but its better if we do it if we are not busy or if you feel doing it , so that you arent feel obligated and no hard feelings are going to be experiened if ever the airdrop that you joined dont go well as you expected .

But now it has become more complicated to do and not necessarily they can be traded on an exchange. What I hate the most is those who open an airdrop campaign on the condition of KYC, it's very unnatural because personal data is very important but they don't seem to appreciate it by giving unequal rewards.
Following an airdrop is quite easy to do but actually as you say if it is too risky for us to give our personal data to the airdrop developers because they may use the data we have to do a negative action, especially if the reward given to airdrop participants are very small of course it is not comparable with the data we provide, so, it's better for us to be careful in doing KYC on airdrop project.

airdrop last 2017 was great but after 2018 quality airdrops seldom appeared so I stopped
late 2019 till now I noticed that quality Airdrops are being active again, so slowly I started participating to airdrops again.
Although they pay airdrop participants, but if there is no market then the tokens/coins that you get from airdrop is a dead project and only becomes a collection in your wallet. I only felt a few large paying airdrops, and also I myself rarely joined an airdrop using a telegram bot.

Indeed, the air walkers have more participants and only a few coins are obtained, so it is less valuable, but if you areold for the long term you will not be disappointed with the results.
For this, I follow the airdrop that I feel are a benefit. Although when it was getting tokens and I am selling on the stock and the price is very cheap. And this is very unnatural going on for because we know many people who join the program. And if you hold the token, in the long run, it will be better.
I openly join airdrops. Because it is an easy way to own some alts. I have some good payouts in some airdrop that i joined. So i don't care if they say that airdrop is a scam.
If selective. There will be a lot of valuable airdrop. I have some friends they just joined the airdrop and they made a few thousand dollars. That's a big number with just getting into airdrop. Although there are many airdrop is scam as there are still many good and very good airdropMaybe i can learn to see and choose the worthy airdrops.
