HYDRO really did bring some profit in due time, which is very indicative, because then, it seems, it was 2018. Probably for the whole of 2018, it was and remains the most profitable airdrop of all where I participated.
That's the good old days which airdrops are very worth it but now airdrops are just a bunch of fake and scams. I missed on hydro but luckily participated on ebtc which i sold around $2k usd+, well hoping to get lucky again at least one airdrop that will have great value in the future.

My biggest reward from Airdrop comes from Bitcoin White (now BitWhite), I got 5000 BTW from their airdrop and then while listed on the first exchange the price of is coin can reach 0.00009BTC per BTW

I remember the general sentiment was that you just hodl your coins and you will be a millionare.
Obviously, the market has shown that it is just not the case.
The big takeaway from this is you need to time your sells right.
If you just never cash out, you truly are making no money.
So having a set goal to guide when you should cash out is important.
Otherwise, you could be sitting on a wallet that is just full of dead weight.

In 2017 before the bullish market run, airdrops use to pay handsome rewards to participants. I remember, one airdrop called ZCash gold rewarded me $1K whereas Lympo gave me $500. Of late, airdrops do not pay this much but rather give out gas fees which may range from $1 to $20 on the average.

With the same airdrop, I held it so confidently that I had to sell it for $1900 or else, I would have got less than 1000$ at some point in time. Crypto money is easy to get and when got, don't expect it to multiply than what you ever worked for the whole month. There are few jobs that will pay you such an amount for just being a promoter of no value.
I think it is impossible to be a millionaire now just by doing airdrops. Airdrops today cost nothing or if you are lucky just $5. The highest I got so far from an airdrop is $6. Bounty millionaire is possible but for airdrop only it is not.
It's even impossible to earn a few dollars from the airdrop. The golden year of airdrop already passed and it will never comeback again. I have participated in the raiblock airdrop and i have made more than 500k dollars from there through sold all of my NANO and it's called raiblock in the past. It's possible to be a millionaire from airdrop in the past but that golden year will never comeback again.
The highest that i have ever made from airdrops is around $50 in the polymath project which was in the earlier parts of 2018. After this most airdrops have been useless.

My biggest airdrop ever was ontology. I received 1k tokens and moved them to binance, on binance I received one more thousand for keeping tokens there. So 2k tokens in one month was a nice present for me.

Airdrop millionaires? I don't know anybody who turned into millionaires with just airdrops. What is the average value of airdrops? $50? You will need 20,000 airdrops of $50, LOL. I think the most anyone can get is 100 airdrops.
I don't know how much hydro you earn, If you already sell it at $3000, maybe $ 0,014/hydro, you are lucky person can earn so much only from airdrop, which we know so many scam airdrop out there. But you say hold, if you hold until now, your are unlucky, price hydro today $ 0,00084
My success story with airdrop was from Apollo, made close to $500 from Apollo airdrop immediately I received the token but after some weeks, my $500 worth of apollo coin almost pump upto $1000. Made cool cash with apollo token.
My sucess story with airdrop was immediately I joined Crypto and started filling form. The 4th form I filled was Hydro, woow the good old days. I made a huge cash from it and then Bomb. Those are the airdrop that actually paid off well for me
Before u can be a millionaire it's a long story moreover Airdrop payment is always shit I mean 90% of it but one thing is sure those running multiples are enjoying the world of cryptocurrency. I mean Most people have there story because they run multiple for e and project.
of course it is very good news that you can get the best results from airdrop. as long as I know that airdrop doesn't produce much good impact. but listening to your story, this is certainly a progress for airdrop. usually I avoid it.
There is no success story of Airdrop for me personally, but I have a few friends who had great success there, it can be said that it was the biggest success at that time. Honestly at first I didn't believe they got a huge profit from airdrop, but after knowing about that then of course I was very motivated to follow in his footsteps but fate said it was different because the crypto market collapsed and I still didn't get a huge success from the airdrop.
I was fortunate to have tried hydro airdrop 2018, that was one of my first airdrop, luckily I was able to hold because I really didn't know how to use the exchange, it was hydro I used in the exchange first and it was very profitable but now I can't seem to say airdrop is profitable because there are so many scam projects and lots of phishy links. Anyone doing airdrop now should be very careful.
