Bitcoin's dominace is increasing these days, and ethereum is also rising up, but it doesn't means that alt coins are dying. With the segwit2x coming this Novemeber a lot of investors are buying bitcoins, but don't be anxious. After the last fork happenend the price of alt coins recovered in a few weeks. So if you have a lot of money invested in alt coins, wait and see and remember that you only loose money if you sell in red. Alt coins is a market and like just any market there is a degree of volatility, but I do not think that the market is going to collapse.

Most of them are not Losing money in terms of USD but in terms of BTC numbers, so it is always better to keep BTC and not Alts for long Run, Just remind me of a reddit post where someone lost 60 BTC on Sia coin.

I agree better to keep bitcoin than altcoins. because it's better to keep bitcoin for a long time, bitcoin may go down but not much and will experience a pretty good rise. that's why i invested in bitcoin rather than altcoins.

The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

You will not be able to profit from all the coins, make sure that you look closely at how the coin has been performing in the market before you invest in the specific one.

Coins aren't dying! It is one big change with the flow of the wind. It is true that BTC is the leader right now in the market but coins are just falling in the price in this moment. It like Wall Street- everything is changeable. Just wait for the fork and you will see the miracle in the nest of the altcoins.

Yes, I also hope that. But altcoins have decreased so much for long time. There are no signs that altcoins will recover soon.

I do not think all coins are dying now I just think altcoins are dying. They are and always have been copies of Bitcoin in some sense. Then they advertised and marketed that they  were in fact better than BTC. It is impossible for me to believe that in the long term, but there are fools who take what they say blindly and invest in these scams that are purely for speculation.

For me they are falling now but that is normal because bitcoins price affects these altcoins sometimes, and most of these coins are very unstable so it is actually normal.

They will gain ground when bitcoin is falling. This is just basic common sense.

BTC millions have been made with a buy and hold strategy. Why can't the same be done with altcoins? If you believe in the fundamentals of the altcoin, stick with it through the dips.

I count liquidity as the most important factor here. In recent years significantly increased the number of different crypto. Being the oldest and most popular crypto, bitcoin remains the main source of liquidity on the cryptocurrency market. Its role in creating the liquidity to be the key. Users can invest in other more risky currencies, but the result will still convert them into bitcoins. It happened immediately after Bitcoin Cash in August of this year and may happen again in November, if the support of the community of the new currency will be inadequate.

Altcoins may be low for the moment, but let's see what happens after the BTC fork.
I bet that altcoins based on high value decentralized projects will soar in the coming weeks/months.

There is a period of time when bitcoin is dying, there is a period for alt coin and there is a period of everything. This is the life of crypto. Just because it is going down does not means that it wont recover and become stronger.

All the coins are dying? I don't think so, you need to observe alot more and not make any decisions so quick. I personally don't think that the coins are dying there is a lot of chance that prices might go up again  soon. Value fluctuation will always happen as no currency is 100% stable
