I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

I think you can get up again and not despair. The world of investment, including the world of cryptocurrency, can provide benefits as well as losses and if we experience losses, we can learn from that experience. I think almost everyone has experienced losses both in the form of cheats and investment losses
when you get into the world of trading or investing in cryptocurrency then you will have the experience that is very important to be able to form the identity of a successful person from cryptocurrency, and I feel that always being profitable can occur when it is not easily affected to sell assets at cheap prices.

For me, ESH is a pump and dump project and was hype by McAfee. Did you invest in it to receive their token called  "GHOST" I guess it is already distributed and also have a price I guess that token price went up $1+ I saw some people on telegram talking about it. I hope you got it and sell to minimize your loss. Be careful about jumping to a new coins better stick on reputable coins like ETH.

That is tough luck and quite unfortunate. However, the crypto space is full of surprises and sometimes, it turns out to be a beautiful thing and could end in lots of smiles for you. You need to look at the brighter side and bigger picture, if the said project isn't dead but active with lots of developments and partnerships currently being done, then, I suggest you hold and keep following the project while asking the team questions for reassurances. You never can tell, you can still double your Ethereum investments or even surpass the amount you had initially. Good luck

It's time to participate in bounty campaigns and a long, painstaking work. The income is very high if you know how to sort out the campaigns and know which ones to participate in

Well first sorry for your loss you just have a bad time. No it is not a dead end for you there is an other way to recover from your loss. I suggest you to long term investment. Yes it take sometimes but thats the best choice for now. Choose wisely

much agreed with the above, even though you lost a lot and right now it feels like there's no light at the end of the very long and dark tunnel, there's nothing you can do now other than accept the fact and LEARN from this bad experience. You can't be too complacent when it comes to crypto investments, you have to persevere and make every mistake count towards getting better at evaluating market changes.

Don't even think about trading with the remaining ethereum you got left, you aren't in good shape, not up for trading yet, since you are already joining bounties you can still make some money from bounty projects, it will only take some time but I'm sure you will recover, stay away from any gambling stuffs too

You can recover if you can draw yourself a lesson and be careful with future investments. A lot of people in the cryptocurrency market got involved with FOMO and tried to grow again.
A friend of mine was exposed to fomo and lost almost all of the money he had, but he learned his lesson. If his investment yields 3% or a loss of 5% he will sell it immediately, this tactic seems very good for him.
But this is the thing, after suffering such tremendous losses most people are going to try to take even higher risks to try to recover the money that they lost and for the most part this only leads to even more losses because they do not know how to control their risk, and even your friend seems to be a victim of this, because the risk reward ratio that he's using to determine when to get in and out of his trades seems to be awfully low if you ask me.

Sorry, there is nothing you can actually do. Hope you learned a valuable lesson. Don't go chasing your losses, you might end up losing everything. Instead take a break from the crypto market. Stop thinking about crypto currencies, investment and your loss. Give time to yourself to recover your "mental health".
When you are ready, start fresh with rest of your 4 ETH. You just lost 10 ETH, it's not the end of the world. You will eventually recover.

Losing hope will make you lose in this market, instead you should be confident that you can make money after this loss. But I am still confident when the bull race occurs after that patience that I Has maintained so far will produce good results later.

experience is the best teacher,
now with the rest of your eth, you should move on and start your trading again with discipline in money management
and believe in yourself

I don't think he should trade, what he should do is to try to hold that Ethereums, to find a job and earn more. If he continues with risking his coins, he can lose them once again! If he decides to trade by some chance he should invest maybe half of ETH for that purpose and to try to learn how to trade and maybe to make x2 and to have a whole ETH from that half, and to do that again! I hope OP learned to not invest too much!

How do you get those 14 ETH? If you got them from trading, now you have to start from the beginning. 4 ETH is still enough for you to make a profit every day, never give up or be frustrated with this market. With perseverance, you will soon earn 14 ETH and more

yes, thats right,,4 ethereum is good amount to start trading,
and if the OP know how to manage the risk
i think the OP can collect more than he lost,

This is a mistake that many investors in the cryptocurrency market make. Newcomers find it hard to remain calm before the appreciation of the currencies so they are easy to fall into Fomo.
Currently you still have 4 ethereum, although this is not a big sum but if you invest wisely you will certainly recover.
40% in USD
30% in bitcoin
30% in ETH
This is my suggestion for you.

I disagree, trading is not really an activity in which you can succeed with perseverance alone, you need knowledge and it is obvious that if you lose 70% of your coins after one single investment that you are doing something wrong, after such a huge loss that is the moment to think very seriously about what you are doing and how you could get to the point of losing so much money so quickly, if you do not go through this process then you are bound to make the same mistakes again and lose the rest of your capital just as quickly as you lost your other coins.

You still have money, and I believe you can still start over with the remaining money. As long as you are patient and hard-working, I believe you will be successful again. I used to lose more than $ 15k and now I'm still here and on. So never give up

If I understand you correctly, you invested 14 ETH on a single project and you have lost over 10 ETH worth their token value. Of that's the case, The only way you can recover is to STOP FOMOING, do not invest in pumps.

is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
This is not the end of the road if it's actually your money and you didn't borrow it. You will only have more problem if you borrowed money to invest. I think the only way to recover here, though you can't recover everything thing back fully or it going to take time, is to sell off and go into trading if you know the ways around and it and you might recover in the long run.

the chances are small because the website you mentioned is a type of fraud because you might be tempted to see the benefits or ROI that is given to you so that you are trapped and lose your assets.
if you still have the remaining assets, you should take it from there and invest it elsewhere.
