To invest 10 ethereum in an ICO is a very huge amount for me, it's almost $2,000 in USD and as far as I know the least you can invest in an ICO won't be 1 ethereum. Can you provide some data about it?

That is the risk in investing with projects, you should know that the success rate of projects at the moment is very low just imagine before you invest that you only got 10% of getting a good return of your investment. This should serve you a lesson coz the era of good projects has ended a few years back, I'd rather do trading than investing with projects or joining crowdfunding. Hence, you'll be more aware of the project you want to get into.

I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
It's not the end, let's learn from it and never fomo in this market. If you fomo, you will lose everything in the future. Let them trade short and make trading with 4 ETH. That's enough money for you to start over

as long as you still have confidence, high spirits, not frustrated, can be patient and have a high determination to cover the losses that you experience when it is certainly not the end of your life. actually not only you, I think there are still many people out there who have had bad experiences like what you are experiencing right now. it's important for you to be more careful before investing in any project.

What coin did you bought? try to hold that coin for long maybe it can increase the price. Your 4 ethereum try to trading it so
you will recover your losses slowly if you are good in trading but if not, you can hold your ethereum for long term. That's only way I know to recover your losses. Hope that you have learned your lesson.

well that's a risk if you invest in the same hole, when the coin has a dump/die then you will lose all the money you have. for that don't ever invest in 1 coin (don't be greedy for the results). with the remaining ethereum that you have now, you can cover all these losses. but be more careful in investing and doing a lot of research
Yes. Don't be easily discouraged with your previous losses because others have also lose even more compared to what you have. But this time, make sure to be more careful in investing and choose only those potential altcoins and of course bitcoin for sure profits. Make the most of your remaining budget and try to diversify your portfolio as much as you can.

Of course you can and will recover
But first you need to understand every reasons why you fomoed? Lost and also it is not the end of the road.
Is it a project that can rise from the crumbs?

Those are key matters you should answer

No.

Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
You have hope if you believe that there's still hope but if you don't, we can't help you with that. Having a positive thought despite the wrong decision you've made will uplift you. You have remaining 4 ETH and you're not yet down to zero so, what you must is to start accumulating again. Buy ETH again or jump into bitcoin but keep those Ethereums left.

losing more than 10 Ethereum is a big amount and I can't imagine if I were in your position it would be very frustrating. but I think you can make this an important lesson before investing in any form in this industry. I hope you can get back up and start again to cover your previous losses.

I'm sincerely sorry for your current loss, 10 ethereum is not a small amount. If the project is not abandoned and has not disappeared, there is still a chance that the price will move upwards. I don't know if your investment will return in the amount you invested, time will tell. In any case, it is good to verify the whole project before investing in it. The only positive is that you can only take it as a long-term investment and just hope for its return. In conclusion: There are projects where their price will skyrocket even after years. I have already experienced similar situations.

The only way you can succeed and make a profit is to learn from failure. When you are cheated into FOMO projects, check to see why you are cheated and what signs indicate a project is a scam. That is the basis for you never to be fooled or FOMO into a project again. In addition, or learn to trade and control greed to profit from the remaining money you are holding. Remember, never all i

the thing that I would say is, don't hope for the risk in which  you have already lose. Better to move on and make sure to be strong and vigilant than before.

Really sorry for this incedent. If I'm not wrong, you bought Switch (ESH) when it was All-Time-High, right?  That was not a wise idea. Try to learn first before investment. I think if you wait, maybe possible to recover 65-70% of your loss.

You have lost more than 70% of your capital in a single investment and that my friend is a classic newbie mistake, if you are going to learn anything out of this is that you must never allow that to happen, when it comes to trading it is better to be conservative and to not allow big losses, you may wonder why? And the reason is that you want to hang out on the market for long enough to see a bull market and as such you need to be very defensive in the way you trade.

In my opinion you should take at least six months before you begin to trade again and you will need to use those six months to learn as much as possible about trading and even more importantly to actually test your strategy and see if it actually works.

Is the Web you are investing still running? and give you daily profit?
if it's still running it means you don't need to worry, and if it really isn't working, then you should try to sincerely lose Sad

Sometimes the projects lose at the beginning, and after some time they only gain in value ... I no longer believe in promising the creators of various projects because sometimes I had a similar situation to you. Now you just have to wait because there is a chance that the price of the Token you buy will increase

Sorry for your loss. Many people like you invest in the wrong projects without doing any prior research and end up losing all their money.
Most of us here scream and say that do a thorough research before investing in any project but people don't do that or realize it after being scammed.

What's gone will never come back. Don't lose the hope yet. Crypto has changed many lives.
You should learn more about trading and it's fundamentals and research every project before you invest.

There are many people here who guide on how to trade and build strategies.
I am sure once you learn to do it the right way, you will definitely earn profits and may be recover your losses in the long run.

Although you have lost most of your capital, it is not the end because you still have money. Now, what you should do is stop trading for a while, to be more comfortable, Hot impatient to get back what was lost will make you make another mistake.

Your money is pretty much lost and this is why people should be aware that this kind of investment is risky, same thing with stock your money could turn into dust anytime. Sometimes that's why I never influence people around me to do the same thing as me to make some investment because it could pretty much rekt their life if their nature is to take a huge risk and don't know how to stop.
Crypto is not even legal in most of countries at the moment of posting this.
So people who risk their funds to invest in crypto should understand this is kinda uncharted territory and nobody knows whats going to happen.
