... So, I just downloaded the wallet to try out solo mining, then will probably delete it. Says that there are still a few people mining this coin other than me. Are any of them here? If so, I am curious why you are still mining a coin that is, for most intents and purposes, dead?

I tried to take on being dev for this coin, but after a few weeks I realised that nobody really gave a shit. So I moved on to casinocoin. Alphacoin's branding sucks anyway. Casinocoin has since proved to be a much more worthwhile endeavor. I wish you all luck if you are still involved with this coin.

I wanna update the page once you get to have new site and probably forum as well.
AlphaCoin now has it's own page on http://coinwik.org a wikipedia listing all the alt coins to help you quickly find facts and links about your favorite coin.

the name of this coin makes me think it is still under development.
Actually there is no development at all going on. The "dev" left with no trace and there is nothing new about the coin

Shopping for coins , and looking for coins that have stayed below radar but still active as a dev and community , is there still something going on?
I see Alphacoin as a representative index of all Altcoins; in bullish Altcoin times, Alphacoin goes up, in bearish Alphacoin declines. Shows general strength of the Altcoin market
DEV (or community) do you have any plans to defend against ASIC scrypt miners?
