anybody? what`s happening with coin?

no idea

messaged 'developer', if that is o/p - alphacoin , but he hasn't logged in since 9th november
I was musing buying some, but appears no-one home

is he still running coin or someone else?

The github project is a deadzone. I would pass on this one. https://github.com/alphacoin/alphacoin

I suggest this coin takes a more cross platform approach instead of being one of Microsoft's coins.

If anyone is looking for a pool it has been re-activated on P2Pool.org

Point your miners to: http://p2pool.org:21775

Use your Alphacoin address as the username and any password.

Be sure to use a wallet address and not one from Cryptsy or an exchange.

Please consider helping a brother out:

https://www.cryptsy.com/users/register?refid=5119

If you already have a cryptsy account you can put this in your referral spot and it will help out a lot!

I got laid off on Oct. 11th, if that will help your generousity Smiley

Yes, that link worked.

Yea, I wasn't planning on auto-selling, but rather to have the alphas ready to sell at a favorable price, either in my wallet or at the exchange. Doesn't seem like the automatic payot threshold kicks in, though. I surpassed it some twelve hours ago.

Hey. I mined them at stratum+tcp://alf.smalltimeminer.com/3335. None of the client download links on https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/alphacoin-the-new-innovative-alt-coin-version-11-released-please-update-230868 work anymore, including the Mega one. I guess I figured out how to send the alphas to crypty, though, putting the trade-adress from Cryptsy in the payment-field under settings and setting the automatic payout threshold just above.

Try this one=>https://mega.co.nz/#!FkEihZCC!EJITlRang4BptpmRoIG3Pg6S8cdRehYkA-ZFut7BkwM<-

You need to copy and paste the whole thing into your browser, if you click on it the link is broken.

BTW you should save em up instead of auto selling, kills the market and you might miss out on some profits down the road man.

Well, I mined some alpha coins, but there is no client for windows to be found. Can I do anything with these coins, except donating them, from the Small time miner alpha coin pool?

Hey there,
There's a link on the first post on this thread here to the windows client, I downloaded it from MEGA.
Its running fine on my pc right now and transfers happen within about 5 minutes.
I used virus total to scan and it was clean.

Did you solo mine them?
I'm trying now with 2.4mh/s

Do you know if there is a way to run a local P2Pool to mine these coins?

Nice, they're both good... I like the blue logo a little better I think Wink

Is this coin coming back from the dead ??
Will it ever see its original prices?
Thinking about grabbing some seeing as most alt coins are getting bought up quick!!
