https://www.umbrellacoin.org/ is doing an ICO in 3 days, and the hype is very high. Their product is very promising. I'd count them as a future giant as they are filling a hole in industry with/without cryptocurrencies. It's even better it's with crypto, so as to challenge the govt. order.
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Each people has their own opinion about coins, because each of them experienced different things when handling their coins. I think the best thing that you can do is to study the market and the trends before investing into something, it's good to ask for opinions but don't rely on them to much. On the first place, you will be the one who will get the outcome of your investment so better put some effort into it.
For the time being, the BCC is best to buy.
NEO is what I want to tell you to invest in it
It's pretty new in the top 10, maybe it's just overvalued now and I have not seen it's stable price yet.I would not invest on it right now but I will consider as soon as there will be a dump that is going to happen.

Yes Their are altcoins that can be invested Such as LTC ETH,DASH and etc.Altcoin is known.Even though many bad feedbacks to altcoin it still working vert good and helping users in cryptocurrency.And Altcoins are very essential.Many coins are appearing so be careful

There a lot of altcoin that's now raging up you don't know maybe today or the other day it will be one of the highest altcoin.

AdEx (ADX) stood out to me recently.
Their deal with NEO and their low market cap was appealing. The thought of ADX market cap reaching even a tenth of NEOs was a nice thought in my head.......
Seem to have a rather large and solid team.
Good idea if they can make it work.
Oh and it seems like there is accumulation going on at Bittrex. Lot's of it. First two steps formed. Rather get in now than chase it.

I'm a fan of both ARK and LISK as well, but I also believe RISE has a different and strong value proposition. Thus my review. It's definitely not just a pump and dump coin.

Terracoin seems like good value.
Was quite a popular coin a few years ago but fell on hard times.
Has a small number of coins in circulation.
Will be forking to the DASH code base in the next few weeks and a masternode will be 5000 coins which is currently somewhere around $400.
