I think Byteball can be very valuable in the future. And of course waves. Both have a wide range of features which should attract more and more users in future.
I suggest you make research and decide for yourself aince everyone of us has different perspective and measurement of what is best investment when regards to investing on altcoins. In my opinion Eth and neo would still deserve looking at.
I guess OP should already know that regardless of the suggestions left here by other users, He would still have to do an in depth research and due diligence based on the suggestions made here. I also consider your opinion valid due to the fact that NEO & ETH are both top projects currently available in the Blockchain space.
NEO & Matchpool is on my watch list 
Its hard to tell whether matchpool has the potential right now. It used to be $0.40 during its start but gradually dip even after the released the alpha version. It probably is going to be a money maker if they make the final product soon. Are they busy on their main thread?
In the first place, everything is hard to tell whether some of the alts will soon pumped. It's quite easy to say that a certain coin has potential since no one knows what will happened later on. Positive speculations is one the factor that's why we see a coin has potential providing they have a good roadmap since it's always like that.
Now the challenged is to face the risk. Buy coins at what you think is cheap then play with the market.

Yes it is,Altcoin is next to bitcoin and also it is growing just like the bitcoin.Because altcoins were becoming popular and known in the world,many are users and traders thats why the economy of altcoin is growing and increasing.It is very reliable now and helping our world.Altcoin is worth buying because of high price and value as of now.
It is Iconomi, and they have two coins: ICN and BLX.
You can buy ICN on Kraken but BLX can be purchased only on ICONOMI website.
BLX is a market index that is made out of a diversified investment by Iconomi company. My BLX investment has returned 20% profit since 2 weeks ago and I just invested in ICN to see how that one goes.
Both ICN and BLX are ERC20 tokens so you can safe guard them in your Ethereum wallet e.g. MyEtherWallet.
BLX return of investment has been about 800% since 6 months ago which is remarkable for an index.

A method is to make some statistics on the number of times a coin is mentioned...
It gives you an idea on the number of supporters. See also "who" promotes what and weight their inouts.
I hold some BAY, and I am glad to see that this coin has so many supporters.
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
And why you want to invest in over 100 coins, diversifying your funds is a good strategy but to think there are one hundred coins worth investing is a mistake I think that at best there are something like 20 coins worth investing, invest on them and you will be fine in the long term. There are things moving in Ripple from september. I would keep an eye on it and do a bit of research.

Yes some altcoins are. But most are not recommend to invest in. Do research on your own to find good investments.

Yes, I agree with you about ethereum. Ethereum is a good coin to make an investment, you can invest with ethereum because they have a lot of platform and fast development.
BitBay, for sure. Most functional client in crypto at the moment. Plus, the rolling peg is gonna solve the volatility problem.
I do believe Centra will have a say when it comes to what they can do.
Once it is released in the next couple of months.
They will have a rival to what amazon has now called cbay.
So we just have to wait and see if bitbay will be able to keep their reign once CentraTech releases their project to the masses.

Only a few altcoins are worth to buy for future use. And rest of the altcoins are worth to do altcoin trading. You can earn money with investing in altcoins. Future use I will prefer eth and waves. Zcash and Monero also good but now these coins are losing their value, and people are not interested. LTC is also good coin to invest. Zcash and Monero are long term players and you cannot expect that they will make you rich overnight and if you want to make money from it then you need to hold it for a very long term and for that you need to have a great level of patience as people who invested in those coins have already made huge money out of it and even if you invest in it right now I am sure those coins will not disappoint you in future.

Do you look at some charts some day? Zcash: last 3 days >15%, Monero: last 3 days >50%.

LTC only downwards since 5 days. But that doesn't mean it's bad.
I would stay away from BitConnect. Their source code is way out of date https://github.com/bitconnectcoin and I don't understand why it is valued at over 700 million right now. Anyone understand what is special about BitConnect.
