I don't want to be biased but I think you should look into ICONOMI. I have invested a lot with them. They just released their platform today, in beta testing
You were an ICO investor or you joined later? This is also on my list of long term projects, the price is still sub one dollar so its the very early days of the coin  Grin

Does anyone know why Dash had a 15% increase in the last 24 hours? It's just a curiosity, I think it's too late to buy.

No doubt, They do his work for a well. I buy back on 0.00024 and currently, I have over 16k ICN. it looks like really profitable for me because of the pump of the price. This is a real project and not offer a bullshit.  Grin

Excuse my lack of knowledge but where is the best place to buy coins like ICONOMI and IOTA from?

I dont know about IOTA, but you can buy ICN at Kraken.com and Liqui.io. These are the 2 largest exchanges for ICN

I don't have an idea with IOTA since I don't use / buy it for trading. But this should help you, try to visit their ANN thread.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/iota-1216479 it looks like ICN is keep on having the right path and good tracks.

I consider this also as a worth alt to buy.

faircoin seems to fly under the radar of most people.
when you look at cmc, their tradingvolume is always very low, but there are other ways to buy it, so that doesn't reflect the real volume.
when it comes to user adaption and usability faircoin is miles in front of most altcoins, but only a few people in here seem to realize this.
the technological side doesn't look that impressive, but their main goal is not a fancy crypto but nothing less than to build a fair world economy.
nevertheless they work on faircoin 2.0 with innovative POC (proof of cooperation) which will be released in april.
before you shake your head in disbelief you should take a look at these links.

https://fair-coin.org/
browse a little through this site to see the vast amount of projects and initiative the fair coop is working on.
https://fair.coop/
the head of the show is enric duran aka smartaction

I hope for a huge rise in april, when faircoin 2.0 is launched and people finally realize the amazing potential of this project Smiley

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Yes it is true altcoin worth buying for, because if not there will be more coins that will be rise up in cryptocurrency, but why they are many that has being created, it is due to they saw how the people accepted it in the market. and many of them are benefiting it then.

But it is good to buy the best known altcoins such as Ethereum or Monero and Zcash.

We are in the world of digital currency which is crypto world and this is not astonishing  why many of the rising coin in this industry appeared because its very trending nowadays. But no worries due to there's still legit altcoin were we can give our trust to buy it. Like eth, litcoin, monero, nem, and others.

Nebium , GAME and NEM!

NEM, definitely, is the best blockchain project and the recent Chinese CERT report, auditing 25 blockchain projects, proves it. I discovered NEM last year and from that time it is my favourite in blockchain industry. I'm kind of dissapointed that Ripple having millions of funds are worst blockchain on the scene. At the same time it is positioned as the most used blockchain for international transfers.

I'm starting to see NEM as another alt coin that is worth to buy and to invest. And upon checking with coin market cap it's on the number 9 spot and its chart shows a very good progress from down hill, now to uphill. I will now add NEM to my list and will know more about this alt coin.

i am thinking the same as i see the NEM price is not going too far and the dev still make good movement for their project. i think this could be a worth altcoin for buying and we need to keep for a while and after btc rally is finish, i think its the time for altcoin especially for NEM to getting new place in the price.

BitBay (Bay) is one of the most undervalued coins

The uses are basically endless

*Unbreakable contracts (Peer to Peer no blockchain bloat)
*Decentralized Anonymous Markets (Peer to Peer no blockchain bloat stronger than Tor)
*Multisignature wallets with dual passwords hidden inside of PNG/JPG images using steganography
*Automated Joint accounts and the ability to sign transactions with 2 computers (hard core security)
*User Friendly Templates for contracts
*Training videos
*Ability to hide any file in an image
*IMAP under the hood full integration with Email, automated negotiation of contracts
*Price tracking so orders always maintain price
*Bitmessage fully integrated decentralized email and markets
*Translates to 92 languages using Google Translate
*Unique change management system which breaks all the change into denominations
*Easy to use accounting panel
*Live Python Debugger, run the interpreter within the software
*Advanced sending with multipay options
*"Pay To Email" tipping system. Hide payments in images direct to email.
*Everything is automated
*Full Offer/Counter-Offer negotiation system.
*Escrow panel with tons of options, anonymous chat
*Feedback and reputation system, see how many contracts gained and lost
*Serverless, everything is Peer to Peer
*Decentralized moderation keys available to trusted users
*Custom contracts and all kinds of contact options
*Start your own market, completely anonymous
*Cash for coins template
*Custom contract template (can do anything you want if you are
familiar with it)
Implications of DDE(Double Deposit Escrow) Smart Contracts and their use cases:
Decentralized "Local Bitcoins": Send wires without the fear of theft due to Double deposit
Decentralized exchange of cash for coins
Buy/Sell anything without "Empty Box Scam" NO ARBITER NEEDED. It is self enforcing trade even with untrusted parties
So it works like a decentralized trustless ebay... NO MIDDLEMEN, NO ESCROW NEEDED
Works like decentralized Freelancer/Odesk
Unbreakable Employee contracts. FORCE people to HONOR their word! No more unreliable employees, employers forced to pay as well.
Barter ANYTHING. Use the coins only as self-assurance. Form a farm co-op trade Gold for Silver, Iron for Wheat. No need to use coins can decouple completely from currency.
Some of the templates are still being worked on to make it "Mom friendly" so that it takes as few clicks as possible to form a contract. No need to think of "terms and conditions" contracts are anonymous and self-enforcing. Here is some of the features that we are working on in 2017:
*Exotic spending... we will have the worlds first client to support time locks in the UI, deadmans switch and burn and parking and freezing coins all supported within the UI.
*Cold Staking for both BitBay and BlackHalo... stake using two computers, impossible to hack. Its basically joint account staking
*Custom Staking with Voting! Completely trustless voting and donations via staking.
*Anti-Keylogger: A special on-screen keyboard to obliterate keyloggers once and for all. Even mouse movement loggers will be no match for this unless every movement is recorded
*Tor and proxy options for internet requests
*Buy/Sell template featuring multiple shipping options including a calculator and options to bill in escrow
*Employment template featuring the ability for weekly reports and auto-payment within contract. Payments contingent on reports
*Barter contract with amazing "wish list" where each item can be calculated converting kilograms to hours and ability to know exactly how many "Avocados" you need for a pound of "Tomatoes". Perfect for farming co-op in 3rd world countries. Perfect for trading used items!
*Reverse auctions! Sellers bid for you the buyer
*Normal Auctions... Ebay style decentralized auctions
*Python contracts: Use the python interpreter to make contracts between peers. Pre-approved contracts potentially possible for verified devs and audited code on github.
*API And more!
