There is a difference between investing and speculating, if you want to speculate and see if you can multiply your capital in just a few weeks then any coin is right, but if you want to invest then the best are simply the most established coins out there and you will be fine.

for christsake how long has this NXT been up and yet look at its price? most of the project where sasha is involve turns out to be a disaster. some people don't realized it but look at how waves turned out? it was funded with almost 30k BTC and now look at its value and the project? piece of shit.

There are so many altcoins out there that is very difficult to be smart and pick a good coin. I personally believe in bitcoin I also bought some creditbit at good price, i like their vision, now they are moving on ethereum platform and have some really cool stuff, hope i would gain more profit on long term.

Don't invest dumpy into altcoin ultimately you will be in great loss. Before investing into altcoin you need research about market and their market capitalization, every thing about supply, road map, further benefits. You also need to check the updates in Ann every time about the coin.

It does not matter if the project has ambitious and revolutionary plans if the team has no competence to do such things.And speaking of development, I recommend checking the Byteball project. Some coins are really worth investing because they have good backgrounds. Like monero, litecoin, ethereum classic and dash. These coins are very successful. They gained more market value. But i dont altcoin are worth investing in a long run. Everyday theres a coin being born and the trust of people will be splitted.
If you wanna invest to these coins, make it a good start like if the current status has -2 on the exchange so that once it goes up, you can already profit if you wanted to get out. Watch the charts on coinmarketcap and then buy. The exchange where you trade matters too. Bittrex and Polo are very much different and so are the others. The prices on Cryptopia are much cheaper too, you might wanna choose them too.
Buying some other coins which altcoins is a good start, In fact, most of the altcoin are really pump and dump but even is like many of the community also are getting benefits on it. Though there are few legit altcoin that can be considered as promising coins were its up to you if you like to invest in it. So try to buy cheap coins in any exchange sites.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Bitcoin as the first mover has the biggest spot in the play. In my opinion there are other coins way undervalued with the ability to grow. Take a look at Mooncoin and Moonlite. Its an old coin with a lot of users and transactions. Also the Moonlite platform will revolutionise the way we transfer value and tip users.
I strongly believe there will be a lot of growth with this technology implemented and working now.
If you have to let a forum tell you what to invest in, your going to have a bad time.
I know what you mean dude. Instead of they can give an answer to your question. You only get confuse, because they will give you different coins to suggest you to invest to that coin. which is not healthy for a traders.

ETH is ok, but NEU? I thought it was a project abandoned a long time ago, at first it seemed interesting and it had a lot of publicity. Most of coins found today are worth less.Better buy a coin which has performed well for atleast two years. Most of new coins are used for just pumping and dumping and for nothing else. My choice is Monero, Dash. In newly released altcoin, i think zcash classic (ZCL) and Darcrus are worth and would perform well in future.

Here it is a said point for those who are begginer in the trading . Because the most of the bitcoin and altcoin trader who comes in this job not have much patience to make profit .I mean here every altcoin which is about dead are much powerful to make profit . Because I made buy of about 0.01 btc of about 10 altcoins And now those coins are now about 20-30 times more increases that resulted into my big profit .
So here is to say that a list of dead coins all are useless , would be wrong .
