Almost anything is possible, you can buy on YOBIT coins which are dead almost a year and you can't even win draw it because they are not on the same block with original wallet..But still they can suprise you with amaizing pumps one example is BOOM coin, you can earn in crypto and with dead coins.
There are so many altcoins out there that is very difficult to be smart and pick a good coin. I personally believe in bitcoin I also bought some creditbit at good price, i like their vision, now they are moving on ethereum platform and have some really cool stuff, hope i would gain more profit on long term.
Yeah too many alts make it difficult to select. Now I have been learning. I have not much knowledge of these new coins. But why the exchanges are not playing a role for the people. They can trade only those coins which are good and have necessary codes. Also They should Ban the Coins which are scams so people investments are save.

SpectreCoin is basically a copy & paste of ShadowCash. Do not expect much.
the real deal is the android-app spectre.cash which should be available in march.
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
But even lots of coins are being dead, of course there are still rising up the coins that has a potential and good project in the near future. Although still we have few legit coin that can be says as good to invest in like nem/xem, icobid, and eth.
90 % of altcoins it's scam. In my opinion good coin it's coins with working devs (such like Byteball), without premine. Many big project like Lisk or Wawes looks like scam ('cause they do not match to this two rules).

At the end of the day, you are the only one responsible for your money you must take all the advice you see in the internet with a grain of salt especially since there are many interest, some may give you an advice to invest in a particular coin because they are invested in the coin themselves and want to sell. you should have a look at SpectreCoin.

Ummm Vidz Aka PureVidz. I'm been following up the Project for sometime now even before the ICO. The ICO target was reached and exceeded. Right now Vidz is doing well on Yobit exchange and trading X2 ICO price. I understand that The Price alone doesn't guarantee the Project success but It is backed by a dedicated dev and a growing community support. Like you said, It has a lot of potential. It's worth being bought and traded.
We think VTC is a good buy because it is at the bottom of the cycle

in all of crypto this, to me, is the safest bet. prices will rise as we get closer to Q3. it's pretty much guaranteed if you look into what an NXT token actually is.

for christsake how long has this NXT been up and yet look at its price? most of the project where sasha is involve turns out to be a disaster. some people don't realized it but look at how waves turned out? it was funded with almost 30k BTC and now look at its value and the project? piece of shit.
It's really pointless, at least we must throw sasha, he was enjoying a lot of money without a hard work or good result. Lisk will have the same result with waves. I don't think both is good altcoin, GNT and ICN are much better and better than it.

if you have to invest, check the list on coinmarketcap only those that hope to win biggy are the ones investing to this NXT. its holders are just them.

In the crypto world we have our owned best coins anyhow. though majority in the exchange was a shit coins only. But still there is still few legit altcoins that are trusted to invest in which are WBB, ICOBID, and NEM, those coins has a promising project in the near future. and every are running in good progression.

i think saifmadecoin may be next big thing in Altcoins world.There are other good Altcoin also but I would personally invest in one that pays dividends like ICN and Time.
