Altcoins really have a future and it is going to boast the crypto world. Though the price has been decreasing day in day out, still i see good thing out of altcoin. Towards the end of last year the price was quite appreciating but they have reduced this year. The issue of scam too has been a setback of altcoin. We all can give it a bright future. Lets fight scam
I think it is likely that altcoin in the future will be unstable because now many people who do not use altcoin again, but did not rule out altcoin in the future will increase if many people return to believe in altcoin.
I believe there is a very bright future with altcoins! Just gotta do your research and get with something you're comfortable with and something you believe in.

Whether bitcoin or altcoin can be profitable for you if you invest properly and persevere. Need to have entry points and reasonable, buy when the market drops and sell when the market rises. I think the problem itself not in the alternative crypto, maybe the problem is that you hold the wrong coins. There are always good for hold coins and bad coins for hold, so maybe this is the reason.

Altcoin selection is the main source , where you invest and also you have to take a good statistcs before investing , if you invest in coins which are downgrading you go to a lose, and more over its the time when you buy the coin and sell the coin which leads to your profit , investing in altcoin may take to you a much longer position if you invest wisely.

Maybe your 6 months was a "downs period" and it just prepared for a strong "ups period"? Experiencing 6 months, I guess that you used to sell your Altcoin and then your Altcoins were pumped dramatically?! I did.
