Altcoin is an experiment, and just like most experiments, they can fail. So you should not invest in things that can make you lose money.
if you did airdrops from the time you post this thread mate,its imposible that you did not get any profit from altcoins because as that date of yours are have so many airdrops which are profitable so much.and if you have an altcoin from the past that untill now you have been holding on it. i am very sure that you has a huge profit right now. its a matter of holding mate.
Altcoins would be fine if bitcoin don't find the way how to solve their block size problem, altcoins is worth just because of their low proice and GPU mining ablitiy.
Sure looks like altcoins have a good future looking at how good they have been doing in the past years and even the new coins are doing quite well in the market. Altoins have proven to be very profitable in the past and now they are the preferred investment path for investors because they have so much potential and so mcuh growing to do and there is a lot of money to be made from it.
We have future here in altcoin it is very profitable you must pick a good one or you can collect more imagine there is some tokens is equivalent to 1$ or even more so we just need to join many bounty to collect those token or coins.
6 months is not a lot of time to hold i think. some people hold for years before making any profit. just relax, keep holding and good things will come
Agree. 6 months can be considered as a mid-term investment. I have known many people holding coins for more than a year so as to have a good profit. There are many coins that need more than a year to have a great amount of money such as ethereum (from 2016 to the end of 2017)
crypto currencies are the most active and the investors mostly have a platfrom. the number of subcoins is constantly increasing. some subcoins will rise in the future.
My feeling is that we need to wait some more time and after that some rule is accepted from the big guys, future will be shining.
I think there is future for altcoin but it will take long before they get to be recognize. If you have a strong portfolio of coins then there's no need to worry my friend. It will take long but it's worth the wait.

Check the roadmap of most altcoins, the maturity of the coins are in 2018. 2018 holds the key to a blossom altcoins boom. Holding alcoins for 6 months in 2017 and getting tired is lack of patience. I encourage you to be patient still.
Altcoin's have bright future, especially as Bitcoin's price become much higher and keep rising highly since a while, I think that many investors will think about buying more promising altcoins like Ethereum and others.
It's a good time indeed the market was so bearish since august, time to reclaim % of total crypto market. But in log term bitcoin will lose even more % market share if nothing change. We need bitcoin core innovative ASAP, a lot of problem with scaling need to be solved.

Furthermore, many experts predict that altcoins will become more and more popular all over the world in the near future. So I think the prices are just volatility and will recover soon.

There are lot of alt coins and all of them are not that profitable. You have to choose the right altcoins for investing.
From your words I see that you don`t have the specific plan for your investment, you`re holding just because. That won`t do, you need to know your expectations in loss and profit. Generally, I believe if you just continue holding you will be able to make profit.
The value is rising to $355 and it was a very good investment since i bought my coins when it was in $250 before, I earn a lot of profit through holding this coin.
