I am holding some altcoin too and I still holding it. I think to make profits from altcoin is depending on that altcoin, many altcoin have good project and promising profits in the future and many altcoin just average project and they not make developing their product.
Its better doing researh before we pick altcoin as our investment

I think only 3-5 altcoins have future. But now is too soon to say which of them.

Altcoins have a really future if you have to research the right one and have a potential to increase if you have look at your profit, if you have a potential altcoins just try to hold for a long time and there is a profit in the future.

Which altcoin do you hold dude? You can't make profit from every altcoin. In fact if you are holding for 6 months, you must have made profit.
I think you should buy it at the right time and sell it at the right time. Because I thought, The rise and fall in prices in trading activity will become commonplace and Altcoin's relatives on bitcoin will experience much more unexpected fluctuations.

I think that alternative currencies are a positive phenomenon, if only because they create a competitive environment in the virtual money market, which contributes to its promotion and development, including the development of Bitcoin.
